Aquamarine's POV:
"Bye Topaz and Topaz", I waved farewell to my best if not only friends. I walked into Peri's house scanning every inch with my bright sky blue eyes. "... Paulette, doesn't that mean anything to you?", I heard a voice coming from the living room, so I headed that way looking at my sister and Peri then at the television. "Ew", I covered my eyes because Paulette and the boy were kissing on the screen. "Oh, hi Aquamarine", Lappy said leaning over the back of the couch and picking me up over it then setting me down in the seat by her as Peri turned off the television. "Aquamarine do you want to go swimming?", Peri looked down at me. "I didn't bring my swim suit", I almost cried. "Don't worry, I got all your stuff for the next two days", Lapis picked up a light blue bag full of my stuff. "Even my swim suit?", I smiled up at her with hope in my eyes. "Yep", she opened up the bag and handed me my swim suit. "Thanks, Lappy", I hugged my sister then got off the couch. "Peri, where's the bathroom?", I looked up at Peri as I asked. "Right over there", she pointed to another door. "Thank you, Peri", I hugged her around her knees then walked down the hall. After changing I walked to the living room where Lapis was putting on a cover-up and chatting with Peri. I grabbed my bag and pulled out a blue and orange beach towel. "What do you want to pack to eat", Lapis asked me walking towards the kitchen. "Macaroni", I jumped up and down with a wide smile stretching across my face. "I knew it!", Lappy looked at me then to Peri. "I'm going to go make food", she told Peri. "Okay, I can take Aqua outside and watch her untill you're done", Peri grabbed my hand and began to walk toward the door. After awhile Lapis walked outside holding a bowl of macaroni without any cheese. "Where is the macaroni's cheese?", I looked at her with a puzzled look on my face. "You said you wanted macaroni, not macaroni and cheese", she smirked. "I lived with Amy for the summer, so I know the importance of macaroni cheese", Peri chimed into the conversation with a slight laugh. "Who's Amy?", I wondered as I asked Peri about the girl she had mentioned. "Oh, Amethyst", she answered. "I'll add the cheese", Lapis rolled her dark blue eyes. "Thank you", I smiled smugly at my sister. "Hey guys dad bought a boat", Steven smiled running up to us. "We rented a boat", Greg responded following behind "I know I'm rich, but buying a boat would be going a little overboard." "We even named lil' Lappy", Steven smiled up at Lapis who started to giggle as the tape on the sign began to slip off because of the water splashing on it allowing the sign's top left corner to fall. "Are you going to go add cheese to the macaroni?", I looked up at my sister. "Fine, goofball", she ruffled my hair and smiled down at me. "I can do it, I know you like to swim", Peri grabbed the bowl from her hands and held one causing her to blush. "Peri likes Lapis", I laughed at her. "Lump clumpy clod", she pushed Lapis' hand away from her own. "And Pearl likes Mrs. Rose", I spun around laughing even harder than before. "That is true", Lapis giggled putting her arms around Peri and leaning on her. "Now go add cheese", Lapis kissed Peri's check as she let go of her. Peri blushed even darker as she walked away and towards the house. "Do you guys want to come on the boat with dad and me?", Steven asked Lapis. "Maybe next weekend, when I have free time", Lapis answered Steven's question. "Okay, Riptide Queen", Greg said "I'll call your mom." "Who's that?", Steven looked down at me with a kind look on his face. "Aquamarine", I held my hand out for him to shake. Peri walked out with the cheesed noodles. "Do you guys want to eat with us?", she asked setting the bowl down on her outside table. "Sure, can Connie come too?", Steven asked Peri and Lappy. "Yes", Peri answered nodding and smiling at him. "Can you see about getting Amethyst?", Lapis asked witch surprised Peri.
Amethyst's POV:
"Where are we going?", I asked Steven as we began to walk away from the temple were I was hanging out with the other Crystal Gems. We called ourselves that because we all had gem names. "We're going to go see Lapis and Peridot", Steven explained to me. "Sure, because when I think fun I think Lapis", I rolled my eyes and blew on my bangs to get them out of my face. Lapis is so boring! How is she so dry if she loves the ocean? Haha, I'm hilarious. We arrived to see that Connie, Greg, and some short girl with bright blue hair were there as well. "Yo, I'm Amethyst", I waved at the short girl. "I'm Aquamarine", she sat down across the table from me and grinned. "I saved a pack of macaroni cheese for you, Amethyst", Peri handed me a pack of cheese. "Thanks, P-dot", I grabbed the bag and tore it open then looked at Steven, who was right beside me "want some macaroni cheese?". "No, I'm good", he shrugged and smiled at me. "Suit yourself", I dumped the whole package in my mouth Connie just stared at me like I was crazy. "Sorry, Connie. Did you want some?", I looked at her. "No, ma'am", she shook her head to say she didn't want any. After I ate I ran home overcome with sadness because Peri seemed happier with Lapis than she ever did with me. "Pearl", I called out opening the door. "What is it Amethyst?", Pearl walked out of her room holding a sword. "Peri and...", I started to announce "wait why do you have a sword?". "I'm a sword fighter", she set it down "What was my sword doing in your room?". "It was having a sword party, P", I jumped on to the couch. "You need to clean your room", she sat down gracefully on the couch. "I have a system", I responded putting my feet up on coffee table. "Amethyst!", she screamed pushing my feet off the table. "You're no fun, P", I wined slouching more in my seat. "When was the last time you cleaned your room?", Pearl asked. "Never", I laid my head in her lap. She smiled a wicked smile and shoved my head causing me to fall off the couch all together. "I'll help you clean, if you want", she offered holding out a hand to help me up. "Fine", I replied grabbing her hand then pulling her down too. This is going to suck!
