You had your earbuds in your ears, listening to Empire Ants. It was one of your favorites, the gentleness of his voice almost lulled you to sleep. You turned to look at 2D, who was yawning. You took off your earbuds. "Sleepy?" You asked, grinning.
He nodded. "Ye, jus' a bit," he sighed. "Me too," you said. Since it was an eight hour flight, it was nearly night-time. You moved the armrest up and leaned against the bluenette. You looked up to see his reaction and if he was okay with it. His mouth was in an o and his face was bright red. "I can lean up again if you want," you muttered into his chest.
"Nah! Stay dere, luv. Get sum res'." He ordered. He gently laid his arm over your shoulders. The suddenly, "Can I sing fer yew?" . You closed your eyes and purred. "Please do," you whispered. He leaned down and sang softly in your ear, "Its'a Casio on a Plastic Beach. It's a Casio on a Plastic Beach. It's styrofoam, deep sea landfill. It's styrofoam, deep sea landfill. It's automated computer speech, its automated computer speech." His gentle voice faded off.
"That was beautiful," you sighed, nestling deep into his chest. "Naw' as pwetty as yew," he murmured, laying his head over yours. He gently kissed your cheek. "Night," he whispered, as you closed your eyes.
Two hours later, you were being gently shook awake by 2D. "Da plane's landin'," he said, gently ruffling your hair. You sat up, rubbing your eyes. You turned and smiled at him. "That was the best nap of my life," you yawned. He grinned. "Guess I make a good pillow den, huh?" He chuckled softly.
"Yeah," you said, jerking forward in your seat as the plane landed. Once the plane settled, the two of you stood up, looking for Russel, Murdoc, and Noodle. After about half an hour, the five of you were reunited.
"Hikōki wa-dōshideshita ka? How was the flight?" Noodle asked, her bruised under eye blending into her hair. "It was good for us," you answered her. Russel and Murdoc nodded in agreement. "Well, I jus' can't wait to get home," Murdoc sighed.
"Me too," Noodle nodded, yawning. "Are any of you guys hungry?" Russel asked, licking his lips. "Yes!" You chirped. He smiled at you. "Who wants Chick-Fil-A?" Murdoc crowed. "Meh!" 2D exclaimed. And the five of you walked side-by-side to Chick-Fil-A.
