Teardrop
You won't see the sadness behind her tired eyes,
She prays every day and night that she will survive.
But sometimes it isn't right to hide,
All the emotions that come to stay.
She shuts her eyes and down her face one solitary teardrop flows.
How long will she remain here?
Well nobody knows.
Her life is almost over,
By one decision that destroys her.
She thinks of happiness,
As she cuts away her life.
And as the knife slides from her hand,
The blood flows on the floor.
She prays the world will understand,
Why she does not live anymore.
She hates the pain and all the tears,
Shed upon the ground.
She cries for help but nobody hears,
For she cannot make a sound.
She lies there; cold and all alone.
The darkness forms around her,
And chills her to the bone.
And on the floor the blood will seep,
Until she is no more.
