Chapter 5

Rosemarie grinned as Jessica run to her.
"Guess who just asked me to prom?"
Rosemarie pretended to think.
"Is it Bella?"
Jessica giggled.
"Mike, silly."
Rose laughed.
"That's great. I'm so happy for you."
Jessica nodded.
"I was so sure he was gonna ask you or Bella. It's not gonna be weird?"
Rose shook her head.
"You are great together."
Jessica laughed.
"I know, right."
As Jessica walked towards Bella, Rose smiled at her friend. Even tho Jessica was too girly, Rose loved her.
"You didn't tell her."
Rose jumped as Jasper looked down at her.
"Jas, you scared me."
Jasper smiled politely.
"My apologies."
Rose shook her head.
"Tell her what?"
Jasper looked ahead.
"That Mike already asked you."
Rose looked at him wide eyed.
"You saw that?"
Jasper nodded and Rose sighed.
"I just said that because I didn't want to hurt Jessica. She is my friend and I know she likes him. I couldn't just do that. So I said that Bella and I won't be there. Which we won't. I promised Bella to take her to Washington."
Jasper smiled at the short girl.
"I understand, Marie. You don't have to explain yourself to me. I was simply curious."
Rose smiled.
"Thank you. I mean I like Mike, but only as a friend."
Jasper smiled as Rosemarie looked at some plants.
"Does someone has your heart or is it free?"
Rose looked up at blonde.
If only you knew.
Edward smirked at that. He turned and saw Jasper looking lovingly at the older Swan.
Rose laughed.
"Well, there is one guy. He is very sweet, doesn't talk much but with me he is open. He knows what to say to make me feel better and when I'm around him I'm so calm. How could I not like him?"
Jasper sighed.
He sounds amazing. She loves him. Wish it was me.
Edward laughed at his brother.
Jasper and Rose walked out together.
Rose smiled as Erik showed her worms.
"Look, Rosie. Worms!"
Rose laughed.
"Put the poor worm down, Erik."
Jasper smiled at the gentle girl.
Alice walked to them.
"Hey, Jasper. Hi, I'm Alice. You must be Rosemarie."
Rose smiled at the bubbly girl.
"Yes. You can call me Rose or Marie. Whichever you prefer."
Alice nodded and smiled.
"Are you going to seat with us? Bella can join too."
Rose smiled. As she was about to answer Edward joined them.
"Our bus is full."
Bella walked away sadly. Rose turned and glared at Edward.
"You can be nicer to her, you know. She really likes you."
Edward looked down at feisty Swan, emotionless.
"I just think that we shouldn't be friends, that's it."
Rose huffed.
"Maybe you should've mention that earlier. Just stay away from her."
Edward sighed.
"I don't wanna hurt her."
Rose laughed humorously.
"You are doing a wonderful job, Cullen."
Rose looked at Alice and Jasper.
"It was nice meeting you, Alice. See you around, Jas."
With that said she stomped after Bella.
Jasper sighed.
"You could've been a little nicer."
Edward scoffed.
"You are just defending her because you love her."
Jasper sighed.
"I do but you are an asshole towards Bella. She didn't deserve that and you know it."
Jasper walked into bus. Alice looked at her brother.
"Well, he is right."
Edward sighed and followed after two of his siblings.
He sat next to Jasper.
"You are right. I'll apologies to Bella and Rose."
Jasper looked at him.
"I just don't want you to make a mistake. If you distance yourself it's going to hurt her more than being with you."
Edward nodded.
"I know. Uh, she loves you."
Jasper looks at Edward.
"What?"
Edward laughed.
"Rose loves you."
Jasper grinned.
"Really?"
Edward nodded, happy for his brother.
"Her thoughts are very loud and they are all about you Jasper and corny jokes. But mostly you."
For the rest of the day, Jasper couldn't take smile off of his face knowing that the girl he was so desperately in love with, returned his feelings.
