Hello! This is my first Hamilton fanfic and I am very excited to be a part of this amazing fandom. I'm sorry if this isn't very good, it's my first time writing a multi-chapter book. I should be updating this whenever I have the chance but I am not great with keeping up, nut I WILL try my hardest. Okay I'll stop rambling now and get on with the story. ENJOY!!!

"Okay, Junior year of college. I can do this. What if I can't? What if I can't pass my classes? What then?!" I walk through the crowded hallways of the dorm. I make my way through the main entrance, down the hallway and to the stairs. My suitcase on my heels as I walk. Up the three flights of stairs and pushing past the other students making my way to my room. Out of the corner of my eye I see my room number. 1776. Great.
I pull the small key out of my back pocket and insert it into the doors lock. As I unlock the door I am interrupted by a loud ear-piercing scream. I turn around to be inches away from a very happy Laf. I jump.
"Holy crap Laf. You scared the shit out of me!!!" I say putting my hand on my chest to feel how fast my heartbeat is...I can almost hear it.
"JOHN MON AMI HOW ARE YOU!!!!" Laf yells loud enough for all the other students to hear, I'm pretty sure you could hear him across campus.
"I was okay until you came up and screamed in my ear." I say with a small grin and a slight laugh.
"Hey John, how are you?" just then Herc stepped out from behind Laf with a huge smile on his face. Laf still smiling from ear to ear.
"I'm great. Summer went by way too fast."
"THAT'S GREAT MON AMI! MY SUMMER WAS ALSO, HOW YOU SAY AWESOME!!!" Laf said, well more like screamed.
"Laf, lower your voice. They can probably hear you back in France." Herc said putting a hand on Laf's shoulder.
"Fine. I'm just very happy to see John again and to be back at school"
School. Ugh I didn't even want to think about school. I haven't even started on Washington's summer project yet and it's due in two weeks. I'm gonna need to stay up for a week to finish that.
"Yeah I guess I'm happy to be back to. Did you guys do your summer assignments?"
"CRAP!" Herc screamed and run into the room across the hall, which I only assume is his and Laf's since they are always roommates. I look over Laf's shoulder only to see Herc ripping through a trunk full of fabric and needles. Laf turns to look at Herc then back at me. Just then his face turns white.
"MERDE HERCULES J'AI JUSTE NETTOYÉ" Laf screams and turns to run into the room in an attempt to stop Herc from making an even bigger mess.
I turn back around to my door and laugh a little bit to myself before pushing the door open to revel a small room with two beds, two desks and the foot of each bed and two small nightstands next to each bed below the only window. To the right, behind the door was another small door leading into the bathroom. I take my suitcase and throw it on the bed to the left and start unpacking.
**********3 hours later***********
I get a text from Laf saying that the group was going out for coffee at the small coffee shop down the street.
TheBaguette: We leave in 15 with or without you
AndPeggy: I will personally come over and pull you out if I have to
TurtleBoi: Fine, fine I'll come but I can't be out for to long I have to finish Washington's stupid summer assignment
CinnamonBun: WHY DIDN'T YOU DO IT OVER THE SUMMER!!!!
AndPeggy: JOHN YOU ALWAYS WAIT TILL THE LAST MINUTE! EVEN WHEN WE WERE KIDS YOU USED TO PROCRASTINATE!
TurtleBoi: HERC WAITED LAST MINUTE TOO!!!
HotPants: ONLY BC I WAS IN FRANCE WITH LAF AND HIS FAMILY AND THEY KEPT TAKING ME EVERYWHERE AND THEN I FORGOT
Angel(ica): EVERYONE SHUT UP AND GET ALL YOUR BUTTS TO THE COFFEE SHOP! NOW!
I grabbed my jacket and made my way for the door. Just then there was a knock at the door. I open it to find Laf standing 3 inches away from me...again.
"LAF WHY DO YOU KEEP DOING THAT!" I can hear my heartbeat again.
All I get in response is him laughing so hard that he almost fell over. Luckily Herc was there to hold him up while they both laughed until they couldn't breath and I was on the floor trying to catch my breath. I get up and push past them and head for the staircase only to turn my head and find them on the floor leaning up on each other to keep themselves up. It didn't work in a couple of seconds their bodies were crossed over each other laughing so hard that there were tears.
