Chapter Three: The Car Ride
Lana P.O.V
The slightly forceful wind blew against my hair and I felt relaxed. Johnny was focused on the road and Bam, Steve-O and Chris were discussing something irrelevant and stupid behind me.
I silently chuckled, remembering the times that Steve-O and Chris would hang out with me and Bam. I would chuckle at the things that they would bring up in conversations. I was happy about it though. It was good that they were still immature, what's the point in growing up?
If I could go back to the times that Bam and I spent the night, talking and drinking vodka until three in the morning, I would. Those were the moments that stuck with me; they were when I saw the real Bam that not many people knew of.
Eventually, the sounds around me, music playing in my ear and the calming atmosphere sent me to sleep. I heard slight muttering when I had fallen asleep but I didn't think much of it.
When I had woken up, the sky was darker and the sun was gone. I looked at the clock on the radio, it was 6pm.
"How long was I asleep?" I asked Johnny, fixing the make-up around my eyes.
"Only like twenty-five minutes." He said. This car ride was longer than I expected.
It took five more minutes until we arrived at the set for Jackass. As I got out of the car, I saw a group of people begin to stroll towards us. I immediately noticed their faces; Dave England, Preston Lacy and wee man. I smiled at their familiar faces.
"Lana! So good to see you!" Preston greeted and pulled me into a tight hug.
I laughed, "It's good to see you too, Preston" I hugged Dave and wee man before walking with Johnny to find Jeff.
"Johnny, thank god you're here! We can film some quick stunts now and do the rest tomorrow." Johnny nodded and Jeff noticed me standing nearby.
"Lana!" I remember Jeff very well. He hung around with us a lot because of Jackass. He even asked me to be a part of Jackass but I declined because my Mother wouldn't let me.
"Jeff!" I loudly said, putting my arms around him for a hug. He hugged me back tightly and smiled.
"I've missed you!" The amount of people being reunited with me today was very overwhelming. Tears sprang to my eyes as I remembered the people who helped me to be confident with myself. These people made me laugh and helped my insecurities fade.
Bam was the only one who noticed these tears and grabbed my hand, squeezing it gently. I glanced at him and he had a comforting smile on his face, I grinned back, trying to keep the tears from falling. I succeeded.
A little bit later on, Bam and Johnny decided that we should go to the hotel that we were staying at. I nodded, whilst yawning, in agreement.
Bam, Johnny and the rest of the group grabbed their suitcases that were kept at the set and squeezed them into the car trunk and with Steve-O and Chris in the back of the car.
