Jack rode the wind to North's workshop with Death flying beside him.
"Jack, are you sure about this? The other spirits aren't very fond of me, especially not Life or the Guardians," she says nervously.
"Wait, Life is a spirit too? No one ever tells me these things, and don't worry. Everything will be fine," Jack says, sure of himself as he lands on the window sill. "Now stay out here until I whistle for you," he jumps down into the room where North first had him and told him he'd be a Guardian.
"North, Bunny, Tooth, Sandy," he calls out and the four other Guardians gather, "Oh good, you're all here, now I want you to greet someone you all know. I remember you told me to stay away but she's really not as bad as you say, just misunderstood."
The Guardians, except Sandy and of course Jack, were all confused as Jack whistled. Death hesitated but ultimately flew down only to be greeted with hostility, along with a boomerang and sword pointed at her. The spirit of winter intervened, stepping in front of Death.
"Whoa, guys, put the weapons down and just relax, she's not going to hurt anybody," he says as Death cowers behind him, "Look, if she was as bad as you said then why is she shaking in fear?"
Death gripped onto Jack's hoodie and wrapped her wings around the both of them, Jack looked back at the old, yet young-looking, spirit and gently ran his hand across her feathers; she calms down and soon lets go of him.
"I-I should go, I don't belong here," she says then wraps her wings just around herself since she was cold; she started walking off to a window then stopped as she felt her hands freezing.
When she looked at them her hands were frosted, she'd been in the north pole too long and touching the spirit of winter didn't help.
"North, please, this is the only favor I'll ever ask of you, I'll never come by here again, just please let me use a snow globe to get back to my meadow!" Death pleaded to the Guardian, the frost traveling up her arms, "If I stay here any longer then I'll freeze, there will be more pain and no more deaths if that happens, peoples' lives will be eternal, Life will make the Earth over populate!"
Jack was freaking out a little now, "North, help her!"
North was reluctant then finally pulled out a globe and looked at Death, feeling bad but he still didn't trust her, "Never come back here," he says then gives the snow globe to the shivering Death.
She holds it in her frosted, shaking hands and whispers, "Death Meadow." She tosses it lightly then steps through the portal that closes right behind her.
