Mistake

I made a mistake today, we were given a new project in advisory and this girl (Emma, for those who know her) chose suicide, more specifically suicide prevention. She is a few years younger than me and looks up to me as a big sister. She started talking to me about it and saying she was going to research why people commit suicide and the different ways that they do it. I instantly jumped in not even thinking and said that I could tell her all about that and she could ask me about it, I regret saying that because I don't want her to find out that everything I'm going to tell her is from experience or thoughts that I have had but I also don't regret it because she is like a little sister to me and I don't want her researching suicide because I'm afraid it will ruin her and I don't want her to accidentally see pictures or something and be scarred for life.
