One more week was all you had left with your boyfriend until he had to leave for California. Of course you weren't sad because you'd be joining him in a month anyway, but it would definitely feel quite the opposite if you weren't going with him. You two were only 15 and had been together for six months, but it was the best six months. Zach had finished public school last week whereas you were still going and he wanted to see you, so you made sure to get the bus that stops opposite his house.
"Hey Myta." You smiled, walking through the front door. Your family had always been close with the Herron's so it wasn't a shock to the system when you let yourself in.
"Hey Y/N, how was school?" She asked from the sofa.
"Same old, same old. Where's Zach?" You asked her, taking your shoes off and placing them on the shoe rack.
"Up in his room packing." She sighed. You went over and hugged her, of course it was going to be hard letting your son leave to go off into the big world, but she would soon come to grips with it.
"He will be okay, I promise." You reassured her, before heading upstairs into his room. Your eyes widened at the state of his room. He really had got himself worked up over this whole packing situation.
"Babe?" You spoke up, throwing a sock at him. He came and hugged you.
"This packing thing is stressing me out, I can barely pack, how am I supposed to live in California Y/N?" He began questioning everything so to shut him up you gave him a kiss.
"Stop panicking. I'm going to help you okay?" He nodded.
"You say pack or no pack to the stuff I hold up and we can work from there." You told him and he sighed.
"One week Y/N, one more week." He kept repeating, you didn't know what to say to him. Of course he'd get used to the Los Angeles atmosphere but it was going to take a lot of getting used to.
"I know Zach. One week, to spend with your friends, your family and me. Then you get to see me in a few weeks. I'll make sure everything runs smoothly back here and when I'm with you, some sort of stress can be relieved." You both lied down on his bed, that had been cleared from the clothes you had packed for him.
"I'm not scared, it's just gonna be different." He told you.
"Of course it will, but you'll get used to it, follow the dream you've been following since you were able to talk Zachary. I believe in you." You smiled giving him yet another kiss.
