Maddie's Pov
We run into the hospital, well I have to be carried with Caleb yelling for a doctor. I am soon put in a wheel chair and heading into a room
" Maddie, your mother is on her way, as so as your father and brothers!" Karen says, I just nod and breath in and out. I honestly didn't think child birth was this painful but I guess I was wrong. The nurses help me up on to a bed then soon a doctor comes in
" Hello Ms. Carter, what I am going to do right now is check if you have dilated at all, but I need you to put this on and take off everything else, I will leave you some privacy and will be back in 10 minutes" I nod at him, he walks out and Caleb comes and helps me change into the robe, I lay back down once I'm changed. Another contraction starts to come on, I scream at the pain of it " Can't they give me some epidural or something!?" I nearly scream at Caleb, he pushes a button and the doctor comes back in
" Contraction?" he asked, I nodded my head " Ok I need you to put your legs up here so I can check if you dilated at all yet. I look at Caleb who seems tense but he knows to not do anything in front of this human doctor. I wince at the pain as he checks me. " Ok it seems that you are dilated to 5, so you are almost there!" he writes something down on his sheet then looks back at me " Would you like to have this with not pain medication or with a epidural?" he asked
" Epidural please" I say, he nods and makes his way out and then comes back with a nurse with a huge needle. Oh gosh. " Caleb, I think I'm gonna need you for this" I say to him, he gets up from his seat and rushes over to me. he sits and hold my hand. She starts injecting the needle in my back, i tighten my grip on Calebs hand. The needle hurt but the contractions are worse, so it wasnt as bad but still a little painful. As soon as the nurse finished my mom dad, brothers and Katie came in as well as Caleb's parents, they all asked how I was doing, I told them I was fine, I could not feel my body at all I kept feeling like my feet were hanging off the bed so I can to keep asking Caleb.
" I can not believe this is happening!, I little girl is finally going to be a mamma!" my mom said grabbing my face and kissing my fore head. I just smile at her
" I am too, I can not wait to see my precious little baby and find out what it is!" I tell her back rubbing my tummy. When I told my parents they took it very well, they were excited and so were my brothers. I faced Caleb to see him smiling at me. I really just wanted him laying with me right now.
" Hey guy's do you think you can give Caleb and I a minute" I say to every one, the nod there heads then head out. Once the door is shut, I reach my hand to him, he get's up and walks toward me. I scoot over in the bed so he can lay next to me. He wraps his arms around me and pulls me close to him, he kisses my forehead before snuggling his face into my neck "Can I ask you something?" I asked Caleb, he looked at me and nodded his head. I is really bothering me why he was crying a little bit ago, and I didn't like that he was " Why were you crying in the car?" I asked, he looked at me for a bit an showed me a sad smile
"Because I didn't like seeing you in pain, it was killing me inside seeing you like that, I was wishing if there was anyway to stop you from being in pain" I had no words, knowing he was crying for me and showing that he cared was sweet of him, but then again this is normal to feel pain and if we were to have more kids I would experience this again
"Oh" is all I said, I leaned in and kissed him passionately. I pull away and smile up at him "I love you" I say
" I love you more" I smile at him before taking a nap with him by my side

"No you can't wake them up look at them, and Maddie must be exhausted, I slowly open my eyes and look around to see who is talking. I spot Karen standing next to the doctor and my parents, brothers, Katie, Johnathan, Josie and Charity standing around in the room.
" Ma'ma I have to check her dilation and I am sure I have to give her another epidural soon" Karen signs then nods at me
" She's up" she says looking at me. I look over at the doctor who is looking at me
" I need to check if you dilated any further" I nod at him. I look around the room at everyone trying to get them to understand to leave during this. I don't want everyone in here while the doctor is checking in between my legs. Awkward. They all look at me and nod before walking out of the room. Once they are all out the doctor puts my legs up and checks how far along I am. I smile over at Caleb who is glaring at the doctor, I grab his hand and squeeze it. He looks over at me then back at the doctor
" Ok Ms.Carter you seem to be almost there you are dilated to 8. Do you have any pains yet?" I shake my head at him. " Ok well if you do just press that button because we might need to give you another epidural soon" I nod my head at him
" Thank's doctor" he nods his head before heading out of the room. Soon everyone starts to come into the room and talk to me and tell me how great of parents Caleb and I are going to be.
" I can not wait to find out what it is going to be!" Katie says, she grabs out a pink and blue bag " I got something for both genders" I chuckle at her. She brings me the bags and sets them aside of the bed.
The rest of the afternoon was spent of us all talking about the baby. That's is also when the epidural started to go away, I started to feel the contractions getting more painful by the minute, and they didn't go away like they normally did. Caleb pushed the button and they doctor can in " Is everything ok? Any pains?" he asked walking in. I nodded my head
" Yeah and they wont seem to be going away like the normally do, can I get some more epidural" he shows a small smile
" You might be ready to go into push Ms. Carter" my eyes widen. I am not ready for this part, this is the part I more feared. I breath in and out trying to calm the pain. A nurse come in with a epidural, she gives me the shot which I was happy to have, checked my IV and everything else, the doctor then said he wanted to check my dilation again, everyone got out of the room while he did.
" I hope you are ready to push because I can already see a baby's head and you are fully dilated" he says. I suddenly get anxiety in my body, I look at Caleb who is walking toward me, he grabs my hand and kisses it
" Are you ready for this?" he asked me
" Do I have a choice?" he laughs then shakes his head
" Guess not" a few more nurses start to come into the room, I only wanted Caleb in the room, I wanted us to be the first one to see the baby not some one else. When the doctor has everything ready he gets me positioned, he tells me to push. The epidural wasn't kicked in right now so it was hurting real bad. Tears were coming out of my eyes every time he told me to push. Caleb was holding my hand telling me I can do it.
" Come on Ms.Carter just a few more pushes you can do it" I pushed as hard as I could " Oh my gosh!!" I yelling, I let out a few screams
" The baby is almost out, just give me one big push!" the doctor says, I push my hardest when he said that. I then hear a baby's cry, I look at Caleb who is smiling with joy
" It's a girl! Congratulation!" the doctor says. Tears start falling out of my eyes when he said that. I just gave birth to my baby girl. The doctor starts walking over to me with her in his arms in a pink blanket, he hands me her and I just smile down at her. She's beautiful
" She look's like you" I tell Caleb, she look's so much like him. I kiss her forehead and mess with her tiny fingers. I look at Caleb who is smiling down and rubbing her head, I start handing her toward him, he doesn't hesitate he takes her from me and rock back and forth with her. I didn't realize that the doctor was done stitching me up. He walks over to a board and then faces me
" What will the name be for your beautiful baby?" he asked. Caleb and I have talked about baby names, we had one picked out for a boy and girl, I smile at him
" Gracelyn Renee Schultz" I tell him.
" Very nice name" he says " Your baby was born at 6 lb 7 ounces, a healthy weight, we are going to take her and check her out to make sure everything is working in her body and we will bring her back to you after we are finished, you can invite your family back in" I nod over at him. Caleb puts Gracelyn in the bed and the doctor takes her out of the room. I hear a bunch of awes in the hall way, I laugh because I know who it is. Caleb comes to me and presses his lips to mine
" I love you so much baby, you did so good. I'm proud of you" he kisses me a few more times before he pulls away and " We made the most beautiful baby ever" he say, I laugh cause the baby looks so much like him but that's a good thing.
"She is so beautiful Maddie!" My mom says. She comes over and kisses my forehead " I'm so proud of you guys" she says before walking away. My dad walks in with balloons and a huge bag. My brothers come over and give me a hug and congratulate me
"Very proud of you sis, you will official be boring and switch to mother mode" Jordan says. I really don't get were he comes up with all these words.
"Thank you, love you to" I chuckle to him. Josh comes over to me and does the same
"Congrats sis" is all he says. He kisses my forehead then looks at Caleb " Congrats bro" he says then walks away. Caleb just nods at him. Some people from the pack start coming in with balloons and a bunch of baby stuff. They congrats us then head out a little later. After about an hour our baby comes back into the room with us. The nurse handed my Gracelyn and told us how she is a beautiful baby.
" Thank you" I tell her. Everyone in the room gets a chance to hold her and as soon as everyone got a turn to hold her my dad brought her to me. I layed her in my arms and slowly rubbed around her face
" Ma'ma how would you like to feed your baby?" a nurse asked walking in to the room. I was thinking about it. I honestly think breast feeding is more healthier for her. " Breast feed " Is what I tell her, she nods at me then walks into further into the room
" OK well we are going to have you feed her right now, your baby is super healthy and everything seems to be working perfectly in her"
" That is great to here" I say smiling up at her, she nods and looks around the room then at me
" Ok well we are just going to go to give you guys some privacy so you can feed her" my mom says, everyone makes there way to the door and it is soon shut.
" So this might be uncomfortable to you at first, I am going to tell you what will be happening since your beast feeding. You will leak and become sore, so you got to be gentle with them" she tells me then looks up at Caleb. He just shakes his head at her.
After her explaining me some other things I finally get the hang of breast feeding, I start feeding her. Caleb sits in the chair next to me while I do feed her. I look down at my daughter, she is perfect and so beautiful. I already love her more then ever. She is my whole world now. I give her a kiss on the forehead. I don't know how I am going to give her to the other pack when she's 18, it's going to be the hardest thing I would ever have to do.
