Julia's POV
Oh my god! This is so stressful! "Come on Julia you are the lead of this play now give it some more effort and sing it again, we're starting from the beginning!" The directer Mrs. Gage yelled at me. I finished the song and went backstage. "UGHHHHH!" I complained to my friend Allison who I call Ally. "I was literally laughing the whole time!" She said to me. I gave her a stare and she stopped laughing. "Every time! I just can't sing that high!" I said really annoyed because I told the director that I can't sing high. Even BEFORE the auditions.
We went back to the music room to get our backpacks and we all left. It was Friday and Ally was sleeping over at my house today. We both got into the car and we blasted the music because 'Stereo Hearts' was on and it's a bop.
When we got back to my house I saw that my neighbor's house was up for sale, which Ally and I were happy about because that neighbor was very shady. Ally was happy because she basically lives at my house. I wonder who is going to move in. Whatever. We went down to the stream behind my house and took my dog Lizzie with us.
"Oh My Gawd!" I finally sighed when we got down to the stream. "What." Ally replied. "The play is in two weeks and I still can't reach that high note without stoping before it!" "Well I can help you, I mean I can hit it so I might be able to help." She replied. "Thanks but I just don't think I can sing that high." I sighed yet again.
"OH MY GODDDDDD! GO GO GO!" Ally screamed at me. "He's catching up." I said worried. "Ally bolted up the street on her bike and we went all the way to Main Street which took us 15 minutes but we just kept going. A homeless man was chasing us, Ally is terrified of homeless people and I know you're saying 'it's just a homeless guy', well it WASN'T! He had a knife! KNIFE! "Oh my god!" Ally yelled in Main Street. "Are you guys ok?" A guy asked us. He was pretty tall, skinny, and had brown hair. Ally said "does it look it?!?!?" She said sarcastically. "Uh not really...." the boy said "what happened?" "You wanna know what happened? A homeless man was chasing us, with a KNIFE!" Ally said out of breath. "Oh god!" He said. "Yeah well we gotta go." I said and Ally and I peddled off in the opposite direction we came so we could get to my house another way.
When we got back we saw that my neighbor's house was sold. "Already?" Ally said. "I'm confused, who would buy a house from them." She continued. "I don't know but they probably hired someone to sell it for them." I said laughing and we went inside.
