After the eventful day I had yesterday, I had decided that I should have the date today. Just in case that I lose Sombra before the week is over. As I woke up, I noticed Sombra was still sleeping. I got out of bed gently and washed up.
Luna had been in my dream so I had explained my idea. She was the only one that knew my real darkest secret. The fact that one of the princesses knew of my secret and didn't freak was a sigh of relief.
After I dried off I asked the guards to bring me a cloak and a spell book for ghost hunters. The guards cocked their eyebrow but agreed. As they left I tried to wake Sombra up. I giggled as he fixed his mane and cocked an eyebrow when I took his armour away.
The guard knocked at the door and I grabbed the items I asked for. As I walked in Sombra had a face of shock.
"Don't worry, I won't make you into a ghost. We are going out, but i need to disguise you first."
He just smiled and nodded as I prepared his disguise. He squirmed and wiggled too much, and seemed to act like a child more than a royal. I just giggled and responded to him.
"Are you sure your a King and not a foal?" The face he gave me made me lose it. I was rolling around on the floor in laughter over his cute scrunched up face.
"Just so you know, I haven't had training like you!"
His choice of words hit me hard. I had no parents. I started to cry a little as he turned. I figured he heard me as he turned and had a shocked look on his face. He rushed up to me and hugged me out of no where. I stopped my crying and tried to hug him back.
"If I had known that it was a sensative subject, then I wouldn't have brought it up."
"I should have told you sooner. I wasn't born a prince. I had to take care of my sister and myself when we were just kids."
"(Y/N)? Who is this?" Both me and Sombra froze as our eyes shrunk. Princess Cadence was standing at the doorway. I took a glace over and my face lost all its color as Cadence was standing there with Shining Armour. Not only them but the Mane Six were with them, and they looked angry.
"Um, I um. We have to go! Bye!" I teleported me and Sombra to the restaurant's bathroom and rushed to finish the disguise. When it was complete, he looked like a tourist.
As we walked out of the bathroom, Princess Luna motioned us to a table. Sombra was hesitant at first, but I assured him that she already knew his true identity and that nothing bad will happen. He grew confident again and we sat at our table waiting for the waitress.
"I asked Rarity and Pinkie Pie where to go for your date, so they suggested this place. Welcome to the Tasty Treat you guys."
Time Skip--
As we finished our meal, Sombra was wiping his face with napkins as I finished my Coconut Ladoo. Luna said she would pay the bill and then we could head home.
"That date went better than expected." Sombra looked at me as he spoke. I was glad he liked the date. And besides, we both learned a lot about each other.
