"Dude it's called the Cleveland Steamer, that's gonna really help."

Stan gave Kenny a look of pure horror. One that screamed 'get me away from this lunatic'. Kenny had just explained what in the living hell that was, and it only made Stan want to throw up.

"No way! No way in one million years will I ever do that!" He waved his arms frantically looking at the ground to keep his nausea settled. Hands finally landing on his green cheeks he spilled, "Who in the bloody hell would?"

"I mean-"

"You didn't, shut up no!" Stan shook violently gaging at the shockingly detailed mental image that appeared in his head. He slapped Kenny lightly on the shoulder shortly after.

Kenny only chuckled, "Dude I'm telling you!" This is a bigger reaction then he could ever dream of.

"No, ew ew ew! I'm going to puke, stop!" Stan lunged up from Kenny's torn up bed with a loud creek and shivered again. But, after a few seconds of pondering, he turned back with a new apprehended look, still mixed in with nausea of course. Stan took an exhale of some sort of relief, "no, no, wait I get it dude."

"Uh, get what," the noirette completely span around to Kenny with a look of almost determination.

"Yeah I get it, you're telling me that I just need to face it. Face it that Kyle's right and I need to apologize," Stan smiled trying to hide the fact that he still has that mental image invaded in his head. No way did Kenny do that right? This has to be some sort of life lesson, a test of my morality, Stan thought only moments before.

Kenny blinked, even though Stan was catching on to something never thrown, he decided to go along with it, "Uh, sure, definitely dude." Kenny still chuckled, hearing from an overly pissed Kyle about how Stan took a shit on his chest would be more than entertaining. But this might just be the better approach, maybe Kenny can get Kyle to do it.

Stan left Kenny's house not too long after, saying goodbye to Karen because she was in the living room; and of course their multitude of cats.

"Bye Scrappy, bye Juno, bye Leonardo," where only the fist few cats Stan said his farewells to. Stan stepped across the train tracks and towards home.

He didn't have the best sleep that night. All Stan could think about was how Kyle might react. He knew Kyle very well, that he is more than likely going to forgive him. But as Stan laid back in his bed he couldn't help but think Kyle might reject him. Apologizing is so hard when you know you're wrong. He thought starring up at his pitch black popcorn ceiling. Rarely has he ever come to this conclusion. Even though it's the best one, Stan couldn't help but feel this was the hardest of the choices.

What was also hard was to not drink. The last time they hung out, Kyle had Stan dump out all of his alcohol. However he still had the scratching at his throat. He probably could get some from the stash in his dad's garage, but he knew better then that. Stan knows he needs to have a straight mind tomorrow, head for the path of Kyle and tell him what's up. Though he knows it's going to be harder than on paper.

The start of the next day went terribly. Kenny watched in amusement as Stan tried a multitude of, gifts, favors, and offers. Even Cartman saw how 'retarded' Stan's plan was so, he just gave up for a morning apology.

Neither did class time, lunch, or recess apologies work either. After the third note asking if the two could hang out after school, Kyle had figured out Stan's plan. So at lunch he moved to Davíd's table, and at recess he went as low as to play soccer with the kids at the side of the school.

But now it was the end of the day, and Stan is thirsting for forgiveness. Kyle had rushed it of class, and he must have convinced Kenny to distract him. Because he was, in the most nonchalant way of course, throwing pencils, pens, erasers and even a pair of scissors at Stan.

Luckily for him, the orange coated comrade left for his daily pick of his sister, so Stan had the chance to escape. He made it to the halls, and his head darted around the heads of the crowd. With the mix of grades, it wasn't the easiest find. But Stan blinked and saw a familiar color.

I just need to go up and say it, Stan thought seeing Kyle's lime green box shaped hat call out from the crowd like a sore thumb. The sooner he forfeits and lets his friend know he accepts his fate, the more likely Kyle'll take Stan back.

With the thought in mind, Stan pushed through the crowd of graded kids and fumbled into his locker, that just so happened to be next to Kyle's. Despite what he's seen before, Stan's freckled faced crush was no where near here anymore. He must have either seen Stan and made his way out of the gathering; or decided to rush out of school to not encounter him at all.

"Fuck," Stan closed his locker door shut with a bang. He decided to quickly shove his stuff in the school bag he rarely used.
Stan busted out of the front door of the school double doors. Searching again for that green ushanka hat he held so dearly to.

He sees it again, walking off to some direction that wasn't towards the bus. Before Stan thought about it any more, he was already pushing and shoving his way past another larger crowd. Gaining some glances and the bird from Craig.

"Kyle," Stan grabbed Kyle's arm and he nonchalantly leans back and looks over. Giving the blue eyed boy a look that says he needs to hurry up before he gets slapped in the face. "I'm so-"

Fuck, Stan thought, his eyes, "I'm so-or-".

"Look, Stan," Kyle clenched his teeth but gives Stan his clearly fake smile, the one that even the most idiotic of people can notice he doesn't give any Mr. Hankey sized shit. "I appreciate your apology but-"

"Kyle I'm so so sorry, I was wrong and I shouldn't have said what I said," The boy squeezed the others hand tightly. "Please come back to me."

Kyle's eyes stretched a little while a gorgeous sun ray heated smile rose along his chubby dot spattered face. He then turns over and hugs the body behind himself. "That's all you needed to say," he sighs in a relief filled sort of way while petting the back of Stan's head. God I missed this feeling. Stan enthusiastically hugged back chanting in his head 'I have my baby back.' 'I can finally feel him again.'

They pull away not too long after. Knowing they could have held on longer  but being on the school's courtyard that isn't the brightest idea. Too awkward and gay for most people- who could honestly blame them.

"Come to my house, we can play games."

"I would love to," Kyle's smile gave sorry. "But I'm hanging out at Kenny's place today. I don't want to bail and be an asshole."

The puff ball of Stan's hat bounced as he nodded in understanding; Kyle in turn squeezed his hand. "I'll give us time don't worry. I'll see you tomorrow!" Stan's red haired boyfriend waved off, running towards the direction of an orange blanket. While watching Stan stared at his forgiving boyfriend, holding a express full grin. Though in the back of his head, Stan couldn't help but feel uneasy about Kyle going to Kenny's house.
