I have no idea how to use discord, and I feel ridiculous because of this. In other news, have another oneshot! This one is a soulmate au in which anything written on your soulmate's skin will appear on yours (And vice versa). I love soulmate AUs, so this one was so much fun! This was requested by dbsuper17! I hope you enjoy it!
The first words you ever found on your skin weren't even words. They were numbers and formulas that you couldn't wrap your young mind around. Your mother, when she spotted all the calculations on your skin, immediately assumed the worst. Your soulmate has to be older than you... and if they're doing stuff like this, then your soulmate needs to be a good twenty years older than you.
"Is that so bad?" you ask. You're five, maybe six, and you don't understand soulmates or the legal age of consent. Your mother simply frowns, and turns to continue doing her laundry.
"You'll understand when you're older, (Y\N)."

The first words Gohan ever finds on his skin are not words at all. In fact, they're numbers at the end of the formula he wrote on himself, followed by a question mark. Answers to his equations, perhaps? His mother, who was the first to spot the mystery numbers, blinks in surprise before grabbing his arm.
"My baby boy's soulmate is so curious!" she squeals, holding a cheek. Soulmates. Now that's not something that's a mystery to the young boy. His mother and father are soulmates, and he can see the bond between them. He's also aware of what comes with it: whatever is written on your skin appears on your soulmate's skin (And vice versa).
"Mom, you're holding my arm a bit too tight," Gohan says, which causes Chi-Chi to release him. The young boy rubs where his mother was holding before looking at the response. Sure, the numbers weren't the correct numbers but at least it was an attempt. Gohan looks around before crossing out the numbers, and writing the correct one. At least his soulmate would have the correct answer to the formula.

You're rushing out of your house as a panicked mess. Your hair is wild, your shirt is backwards, and you're struggling to put your backpack on. Your soulmate bond had long since been forgotten; yours never wrote on their skin as much as you. Definitely not as much as you. As a clumsy art student, you constantly lose your planner, which forces you to rely on your forearm. As well as your to-do list, you also tend to doodle and paint where you can.

Gohan wakes up and smiles when he sees the messy (F\C) scrawl on his arm. He rubs his eyes and lightly traces over the words. When his eyes land on the bottom of the list, he sits up and blinks in surprise. 'Umami' is a familiar name; he passes the restaurant on a day to day basis!
"So you're going to be there?" he questions. To be honest, Gohan's been dreaming of this meeting for ages, and the fact he has an actual chance to meet the person behind the art? His schedule is nothing but studying, and if he's quick he can be there before them! The half-Saiyan jumps out of bed and quickly gets dressed. On his way out he grabs his messenger bag, and a (S\F\C) pen.
"Ah, Gohan where are you going?!" Chi-Chi demands, balancing a laundry basket on her hips. When she spots the writing on his arm, her brows furrow. She also recognizes 'Umami', apparently. His mother soon connects the dots before squealing and dropping the laundry basket. "Oh my! Go, go, go!" she urges, shoving her eldest son out the door. "You have a soulmate to meet!"
"Thanks, Mom! See you later!" And with that, Gohan is flying to the city.

"(F\N), it's not funny!" you grumble, crossing your arms. Your friend is still clutching their stomach and laughing, tears rolling down their face. "(F\N)," you groan, throwing your head back.
"Come on, it was fantastic," (F\N) wheezes, wiping away a stray tear. "Man, I should've gotten a video." What they're referring to is your accident in class this morning. As you ran inside, you had tripped and knocked a bucket of paint onto your professor's chest. Then, while apologizing profusely, you had slipped and knocked over a box of art supplies.
"The Professor is going to kick me out!" you whine, looking at your arm. At least you could cross out 'class' from your to-do list. The next item was going to an art supply store for your application piece. (F\N) puffs out their cheeks before punching you in the shoulder.
"(Y\N), you're one of the best kids in class. One terrible accident is not the end of the world." You send them a frown, which makes them shrug. "Well, I gotta go. I have to go to work," they hum, sending you finger guns.
"Alright. See you after?
"No can do, I've got a date."
"Oh? Who with?"
"That kid from my coding class." You nod and watch as (F\N) walks away before an empty feeling settles in your chest. You quickly shake your head to clear your mind, and instead set out for your favorite art store.

Gohan's palms become sweaty as he watches 'class' get crossed off his arm. Deciding that it'll be a bit before his soulmate arrives, the male pulls out his laptop in order to do some of his homework. While waiting, he also orders a simple beverage from the nice lady at the counter. Maybe his soulmate works here? Or maybe they just really like the drinks?
"Here you are sir!" The cheerful girl at the register laughs. Gohan nods and takes the drink, uttering a small 'thank you' to her. He then returns to his seat and opens a few documents to work on. Despite them sitting open, Gohan frowns and sighs. He can't work, not with the looming meeting with his soulmate.

You hum as you exit the store, and sit out on the curb. Time to quickly test out these new markers! On other side of your arm, you quickly sketch a few of your favorite flowers in a variety of colors. The largest one, however, is on the back of your hand.
"Nice," you whisper, putting them away in your bag. You check the time before crossing out 'store' from your forearm. Just one last stop: Umami!

Gohan's fingers trace over the newly drawn flowers and then over the line through 'store'. This is it! Any moment now, he is going to meet the one he's destined to fall in love with! His leg bounces, and every time the door opens, he's quick to look over the person. After several disappointments, Gohan finally feels the urge to do his work.
"Ah, (F\N)!" a new voice greets. (F\N), as Gohan had heard, is one of the few employees in the store. "You would never guess what I saw!" The girl at the counter then starts telling the barista, who is clearly her friend, about something he can't pick out.
"Glad to see you're feeling better," (F\N) laughs. Gohan finally looks up, and his heart comes to a stop when he spots the arm of the customer.

"Woah, (Y\N), check it," (F\N) says, reaching over the counter to grab your arm. When they lift it, you look at the flowers you drew.
"So what?" you ask, sending a confused look to your friend. "I drew these in front of the store-"
"No, they were colored in while you were talking to me!" (F\N) laughs. You blink before looking down at the one on the back of your hand. It was only a (F\C) sketch, but now it was colored in hastily with (S\F\C)... Though the color does go outside the lines.
"Oh yeah..." Soon writing appears above and below the flower, which makes (F\N) lean over to the counter to read it.
'Nice to meet you, Miss.'
"M-My name is Gohan," a voice says behind you. When you turn and spot the attractive male, your eyes travel to the arm he's using to rub the back of his neck. Very familiar writing is on his forearm, which makes your heart come to a stop. "S-So, would you like to join me for a café date?"
