"Wow this is going to be great a whole month of vacation at the beach." Louis said leaning back in his seat and putting his hands behind his head to cushion it. His eyes were lazily half closed as a ray of the early morning sun peeking up from the ocean splashed across his face.

"Technically Louis, we're spending our vacation at a town near the beach." I corrected him looking out of the window.

Scenery rolled by in a blur. I would focus my attention on a land mark. For example, a tree and watched it until it blurred passed me in a rush. The Australian out back was quite beautiful. I couldn't wait to see the village that we were staying at, about an hours drives to the nearest city.

We had just wrapped up our world tour, and we we're heading to Australia for a much needed vacation. Well I wouldn't say that it was completely a vacation, since we were also recording there. Our manager Paul said that we could spend our vacation here as long as we drove up to the city and recorded some tracks for our next upcoming album.

"I don't care what it's called Liam, as long as we can go to the beach." Louis said taking a pair of sunglasses out of his pocket and gently placing them on his face. Probably to block the sun that was shinning on his face.

"Ugh the sun is in my eyes." Louis groaned in complaint, " I don't know why I picked the window  seat."

"Louis, you fought with me over who got the last window seat." I pointed out you could here the agitation in my voice. I guess we were all on edge.

"But now I don't like it." Louis whined like a three year old.

            I gritted my teeth.

"Boys calm down before we start a fight. You guys all seem so on edge lately." Paul said, " And Liam you of all people should be exemplary behavior to the lads."

I hung my head in shame. Paul was right. I should be a better role model.

"Sorry I guess we're just knackered. We really need this vacation." I explained to Paul.

"Yeah I can't wait to go surfing!" Louis exclaimed as though our little tiff had never happened.

I rolled my eyes and looked over to the other lads.  Some times I thought Louis was more Louis then I could stand . I don't know how he does it.  Both him and Niall are always dragging us into trouble. Now we can't leave the hotels with out our manager's ,Paul, supervision. All because Niall and Louis snuck out, and got into a car accident. Let's say Louis doesn't like driving very fast in America or anywhere.

Niall was fast asleep, apparently jet lag didn't keep him from catching some sleep. It didn't surprise me since we'd barely gotten any sleep through out the tour, and Niall is well..... Niall if you get the memo. We had left London at about eight in the morning, and flew the Australia where it was almost six in the morning. None of us had slept one the plane. We all have our own issues to sift through and deal with. I haven't had a single decent night's sleep for quite a while now. I was really looking forward to this nice relaxing vacation. No interviews, no concerts, no millions of screaming fans. Just peace and quiet.

We hit a bump in the road, and all of us cried out in dismay. Louis's sunglasses had been knocked off, and he was bending over to pick them up off of the car floor. Zayn's phone, had been thrown from his hands, and landed on Harry's lap. Niall how ever didn't even slightly stir from his deep sleep. I bet even a hurricane wouldn't wake the bloke.

"He's been like that since we left the airport." Zayn told me, when he noticed that I was looking at Niall. I had almost forgotten that Zayn was there, since he'd been so quiet.

Zayn's been having some issues lately. His parents keep wanting to meet Zayn's girl friend for quite some time now. And of course the problem was, that Zayn's been single for almost a year now. He's shared with us, that he's afraid of bringing home the wrong girl, and that his parents wouldn't like her. So he made one up. Apparently Zayn's " girl friend" is named Cassie and she's got long glossy dark brown hair, and big brown eyes. Well at least that's what he told his parents. They want to meet this "Cassie" when Zayn comes back from this vacation. So it's going to be pretty tough for him to relax on this trip. His excuse for why they haven't met her before, is because she's away with some of her friends in Spain. He's been desperately trying to find a girl friend with no luck. Poor Zayn.

"Zayn you look a bit down is some thing wrong?" Harry -who was seated next to Zayn- asked him looking quizzically at him.

We'd come to love each other like brothers over the past few years, so we always wanted to know what was wrong with each other, even if one of us didn't really want to talk.

"Relax Zayn, it's a vacation." Louis tried to cheer him up, evidently not helping Zayn's case at all. Zayn just frowned at him. Louis stopped smiling

Zayn passed around his phone. When it reached me, I saw that Zayn had pulled up the Internet, and had Googled himself. At the top of the web page was an article captioned "Why So Single Zayn?" Laughing, I looked up to face Zayn, who didn't take it very lightly.

"So?" Harry asked chuckling, but he stopped when he saw how upset Zayn was.

"So, I haven't had a girlfriend for almost a year." Zayn explained to us.

"And you are bothered by this, how?" Harry questioned him.

'Well I promised my parents that they would get to meet "Cassie" next month when we go back home." Zayn explained.

He looked very nervous. Lately he's been taken a liking to biting his nails instead of his bottom lip when he's nervous. One time, he chomped it so hard, that it started bleeding. Both are quite nasty habits.

"So just go find a girlfriend and say you and Cassie broke up." Harry suggested pleased that he had solved Zayn's problem, only Zayn didn't look too happy.

"Easy for you to say, Curly" Zayn hissed at Harry.

"Now there's no need to call names." I jokingly scolded, Zayn frowned at me, and I stopped

"What ever do you mean by that?" a very puzzled Harry asked.

"You get all the girls with your charm and good looks." Zayn  explained crossing his arms.

"Well he sure got that right." Louis joked, I jammed my elbow into his side and he immediately stopped laughing.

"I could give you some tips I guess if that'd make you feel better." Harry offered.

''Fine." Zayn said. I could see him easing up a tad bit.

"We're here!" Louis notified the rest of the lads as he looked out the window.

"Well then we'd better wake up Niall then." Harry said looking over at Niall who was still out cold.

"Well I'm sure not doing it! Last time, I swear he almost bit off my finger." Zayn swore up and down to us.

Louis, Harry, and I laughed at that memory. Last time, we all rock, papered, scissored, each other for who would have to wake Niall up when he fell asleep on the plane during our tour, and Zayn lost, so he had to. He was about to poke Niall's face, when he woke up, and took a chomp at Zayn's finger. Zayn had shrieked and pulled his finger away from Niall as fast as he could. I could see Zayn's ears turning red from embarrassment, and he was biting his bottom lip again.

"I guess I'll do it." Harry offered. Suddenly the car went quiet as all of our eyes watched Harry.

Harry cupped his hands next to Niall's ears and shouted, "Oh look there's a Nando's next to the hotel ! "

Niall's eyes instantly opened, and he shot up out of his seat. His electric blue eyes had a sort of crazed look in them. The lads and I suppressed our urges to laugh, and inched away from Niall.

"Really! Where! I'm hungry! Let's go!" Niall shouted like an excited five year old. He dove for the car door handle and tried to yank it off. We couldn't hold back the laughter any more, and our laughs filled the air of the car. Niall stopped with the handle, turned to face us, and glared at Harry.

"I bet there isn't any Nando's around here. This is stupid, I want to go home!" Niall declared like a spoiled brat. He crossed his arms in an act of defiance, and sunk back down into his seat. Well we can't be too harsh about in since Niall was a bit crabby from his lack of sleep.

Niall's been having some issues with love. He's all sad that he's the only person in the group who hasn't had a real girlfriend, or has ever fallen in love. He sits out when we talk about girls.

"Niall I bet you that there's plenty of good restaurants around here." I promised him, in hopes of calming him down.

"Are you guys ready to go or not?" Our manager, Paul, asked us from outside of the car.

Louis opened the car door, and we all toppled out, because we were trying to get as far away from Niall as we could. Niall's usually an easy going guy, but lately he's been a little cranky, and the lads can't figure him out. Anyway. poor Louis had both Zayn and I on top of him. Harry carefully stepped out and laughed when he saw us, and Niall who was smart enough to use the other door, stood next to Paul and smirked at his handiwork. I wasn't necessarily mad at Niall, because that was the first time he had smiled all day. Louis pushed Zayn and I off of him, stood up, and dusted his red shorts.

Standing up, I caught a glimpse of a girl out of the corner of my eye, so I turned to get a better look at her. She had long wavy milky brown hair that came down to her waist, and wide watery blue eyes. She was a bit on the short side, and her skin was very tan. I couldn't see any make up, and her out fit was very simple: a coral colored tee shirt, white tennis shorts, and brown sandals. A long strand of her hair, had been  braided, until it wavered off into waves again. She looked about sixteen or seventeen, and she quietly watched from next to the door way us as we made fools out of ourselves. My eyes met hers, and I smiled at her. When she noticed me staring at her, she blushed, quickly looked away, and dashed back inside.

I turned my attention back to Paul and the lads. They had all gotten up, and had gotten their luggage from the back of the car. I went around to the back, an pulled out my two suitcases and my carry on.

"Ready to go boys?" Paul asked us. A chorus of yeses arose from us, and Paul motioned us inside. It was a small hotel, but it was very nice. We went up to the front desk and Paul started talking to him. I tuned out and looked around  the hotel for the girl that I had seen.

"Liam!" Louis snapped bring my attention back to reality.

"Huh? What?" I mumbled a bit preoccupied with looking for the girl. Louis sighed and handed me a key card. I took it, and shoved it in my back pocket.

"Oh." was my oh so brilliant reply.

"We all get our own rooms!" Harry cheered kissing his key card. I rolled my eyes and grinned.

"They all have a great view of the beach, except one with has a nice view of the village." the hotel owner notified us his accent was very thick. We were going to stand out like sore thumbs.

"Cool!" Louis exclaimed very excited. His eyes lit up like a Christmas tree, and he began jumping up and down like he was hopped up on caffeine.

"I want to go to the beach!" Louis shouted.

I shushed him, "Keep it down Lou, some people are still sleeping."

"Oh I'm sorry I'll try to be quieter!" Louis promised still at the same volume that he was before.

"Maybe later boo bear." Harry said in hopes of shutting Louis up.

"Don't call me that!" Louis hissed at Harry like a five year old.

"Louis for God's sake keep it down! You are almost twenty one." Paul scolded him.

Louis crossed his arms and pouted like a spoiled child.

"Grow up Louis." Niall cranked. He was still a bit groggy from his nap, plus he hasn't eaten for almost ten hours.

"Growing old is mandatory, growing up is optional." he quoted sticking his tongue out at Niall who did the same thing.

"Louis stop it, and Niall you're just as bad. Boys please just go to your rooms and sleep." Paul said looking like he was having a migraine head ache. I didn't blame him. We acted like little five year olds at times.

"Is it true that you run this hotel all by yourself?" Zayn asked the owner after looking at the Family owned and employed sign.

"Well no. I run it with my seventeen year old daughter ,Lottie, ever since my wife died four years ago from breast cancer." he explained to us.

"Oh I'm terribly sorry." Harry apologized.

"Don't be mate it's not your fault." the owner said smiling. He looked at us and our luggage.

"Would you like some help with your bags?" he asked us.

"That would be too kind, but we can manage." Paul politely turned down his offer.

"Well if there's anything I can do just ask either Lottie or me. Where has she run off too? She's probably some where. Could you boys tell me if you see her?" the owner asked.

"Lottie that's and interesting name." Niall commented.

"My wife named her. She's the spitting image of her. Brown hair, blue eyes, a bit short. She's also a bit shy, but quite friendly when you get to know her. She's a big fan of you boys. Has a poster in her room." The owner rambled.

"Well tell you if we see her." Harry said smiling at the man.

"She's wearing a pink shirt and white shorts." The owner called after us.

That's when I realized that the girl I had seen , was Lottie, the hotel owners daughter. Paul, the lads, and I filed into the elevator.

"Are we all on the second floor?" Zayn asked comparing his key card to Harry's. Taking my key card out of my pocket, I saw that my room was on the third floor.

"I guess I got the village view." I said as the others dashed out of the elevator with their luggage. I sighed as the doors closed. Of course none of them had heard me at all.

Baby you light up my world like nobody else, the way that you flip you hair gets me overwhelmed, but when you smile at the ground it ain't hard to tell you don't know oh oh , you don't know you're beautiful, if only you saw what I can see, you'd under stand why I want you so desperately, right now I'm looking at you and I can't believe, you don't know oh oh, you don't know you're beautiful oh oh oh, that's what makes you beautiful!

I grinned. Figures that out hit song would be elevator music. The doors opened, and I stepped out. I glanced at me key card to see my room number again. Next, I started walking and every once in a while,  I would steal a quick glance at the number. I was looking at my card, when some one crashed into me.

"I'm so sorry! I wasn't looking where I was going, and...." they began to apologize before I cut in.

"That's okay I wasn't looking where I was going either." I forgave them, and taking a bit of the blame myself.

I looked up, and I saw the girl that had been watching us earlier. I guess that she had also recognized me, and was trying to hurry away. I stepped in front of her to block her.

"My name is Liam," I introduced myself, "What's yours?"

"I'm Lottie, stupid name I know, and it was nice meeting you, and I really need to get to work now or my dad will be upset." she explained still trying to get passed my, but I kept stepping in front of her.

" Um excuse me, Liam was it, but I must really getting going now." she mumbled. She was bright red, and she kept her head down a bit.

"One I think Lottie is a lovely name, two it's nice meeting you too, and three your father said that if I needed anything that I could ask you." I said.

Lottie sighed and looked up at me, wow she was even prettier close up, "How can I be of assistance?" she asked me.

I smiled and  requested, " Could you please give me a tour of your lovely hotel after I put my bags in my room? Please?" I asked.

Lottie sucked in a deep breath before saying," Sure."

"Great." I said sliding my key card through the lock, it opened, and I flung my carry on back pack on the bed, and stashed my suitcases inside the room close to the door." I shut the door and smiled at her.

"You're not going to unpack or anything?" she asked me.

             I shook my head, " I couldn't wait." I told her.

              "For what?" Lottie  asked.

"The tour." I told her raising my eye brows.

"Oh that um yes follow me." Lottie said taking me by the hand

When we got down to the lobby, I asked her, "Where's every body?"

"Still asleep. You arrived earlier then most prefer to get up." she said smiling. Lottie led me to the first room. "This is the breakfast buffet. We provide breakfast from six a.m to nine a.m in the morning." she explained. The room was full of tables and a few televisions hung on the wall

Next she showed me the gym room, "This is where you can go to work out." she told me.

"I work out." I blurted out for no apparent reason. Lottie giggled and I blushed.

"Want to see?" I asked her now showing off a little bit.

Lottie shook her head, smiled at me, and said," I'll take your word for it Liam."

"Good we're starting off our relationship with trust." I stated.

Lottie looking confused asked, " Our relationship?"

I grinned as she led me to the next room.

"This is the pool open from eleven in the morning to eight thirty in the evening. You probably won't use it since I take it that you're going to the beach." Lottie said.

"Ah maybe I will if you join me." I teased. I'm pretty sure we were flirting now.

"I would love to Liam, but I'm working. I'm so sorry" she apologized.

I made my famous pout face. I could see the guilt in her eyes.

"Pweeze Lottie." I begged in silly voice.

Lottie laughed and sighed, "I'm off at eleven in the evening on week days like today, but I'm off at seven thirty on weekends so maybe this weekend?" she offered.

I shook my head, "Tonight." I said.

"But the pool is closed." Lottie argued sounding so innocent.

I grinned at her again, "Nobody has to know." I said winking at her.

"Then it's a date." she said shaking my hand.

"I guess it is." I said still smiling at her. Neither of us wanted to be the first to let go of the hand shake.
