"Better be a diamond with flaw, rather than a pebble without."-Internet
Sharlet woke up early in the morning. Her thoughts from yesterday didn't allow her to sleep. She sat on her bed and her gaze traveled toward the table were her diary was kept.
What is my wish? Sharlet thought. She was quite sure having a perfect body is not the wish she was longing for so badly. Its something else.
Sharlet got up and reached for her diary. She flipped the pages. She took a pen and twisted its cap to open it. She brought the nib of the pen closer to the page where she wrote that her wish is to have a perfect body. Sharlet took a deep breath and strike off the lines where she wrote about her wish.
She felt a weird happiness growing inside her. The happiness of confidence.
"Yes! I got it! Its already fulfilled!" Sharlet explained.
Her eyes stopped at the wall clock it was still nine but she wanted to go school early.
Sharlet hurriedly dressed up and sat at the dining table.
Anna noticed that Sharlet was too excited to go to school today.

The bell rang announcing the end of the hectic school day.
Sharlet and Ellie were heading outside. Sharlet walked Ellie home. They chatted about various things but Sharlet's mind was fixed on something else.
As soon as they reached Ellie's home.
A pair of warm hands embraced Ellie from behind.
"Mom?" Ellie gasped at her mother's sudden gesture.
"Be quite Ell.." Her mother's voice spoke a million emotions. "Sharlet called me last night. She said that you are..cutting?" Ellie's eyes widened.
"I'm so sorry Ell. I'm such a horrible mom." Her mother's voice trembled. Ellie hugged her mom tightly.
"I'm proud of you, Ell. Your sexuality never makes you less special. You are still my gem!" Her mother said as her tears rolled down her cheeks.
"I love you, mom." Ellie could not hold back her tears and burst into tears.
Sharlet stood them watching with a satisfaction on her face.
"Thank you so much, Shar! I love you so fucking much!" Ellie said hugging Sharlet.
"Its alright and don't ever cut. Okay? Else I'll tell your girlfriend to beat your ass." Sharlet said patting her back.
Sharlet bidded them goodbye. There is more work to do! Thought Sharlet with determination.
She walked faster than her usual pace. She wasn't feeling scared or depressed anymore. She was near to her destination when she heard a familiar noise from a pile of boxes.
She removed the piles of boxes carefully and discovered the cause of the sound. "There you are!" Sharlet chirped happily.
She stopped by a house. She took a sharp breath and knocked at the door.
"Yes? Oh! Sharlet?" It was Sarah.
"Uhmm..There is something I wanna give you." Sharlet said.
"What is it?"
"The last time you visited my place you said that nobody loves you for your soul. So, I have brought someone special who will always loved you till his last breath or bark I must say!" Sharlet chuckled and opened the box.
A small white puppy jumped out of the box and landed in Sarah's arm.
"This little buddy lost his mother in a car accident." Sharlet said while caressing his head lovingly.
"I used to give him some food while my way to school when I find out that you two will be better with each other. You both need a little love and affection but a lot of sausage and attention!" Sharlet laughed along with Sarah who was too delighted to get a new roommate.
"Thanks a lot! I really needed a partner like him! He will love me unconditionally." Sarah said merrily.

"Mom, I'm home!" Sharlet said closing the door behind.
"Food is ready, Honey. Change and come to eat." Anna replied in her usual merry tone.
Sharlet peeped in the kitchen. She was delighted and happy now. She made up her mind that she will eat as much as she wants without any fear of gaining weight.
She went to her room and took the diary.
"Thanks for making my wish come true." She said with a pleasant smile curled on her lips.
She opened her closet door and took out the yellow t-shirt. She wore it and paired it with her favorite jeans. She combed her hair in a neat pony tail. She looked at her reflection in the mirror and smiled confidently.
"I'm an Ideal Girl." Sharlet read her t-shirt with a unusual happiness and comfort.
Anna who was just peeping in her daughter's room smiled genuinely as she saw her daughter's new confident self.
Anna went to her room and took all the cut newspaper and folded them. She threw them in dustbin making sure that her daughter never learn the truth behind the reply of the diary.
Shh! Let's keep it a secret.
