Chapter 1: Coffee
Kim Sooyoung POV
I am heading to Our hospital right now since today is a Very Busy day. It's the winter season meaning a lot will come to the hospital. I'm a Doctor of a lot of sickness you can say but I stay in being a Pediatrician. I own the hospital but only the ones that are working in the Hospital long enough knew that.
I wore black jeans and Black shirt and my white hospital coat. I parked my car in the reserved Doctor's parking and got down then went to the elevator.
I swiped my card and I pressed 12 since I have a special office for the boss and owner. The elevator stopped at 2nd floor and a guy came in he bowed at me. His name is Taehyung my Best friend in need school I told him not to bow at me but since I got a higher position he insist but sometimes when there is not so much people he doesn't but I think he just isn't in the mood. We chat bit and heard a ding we stopped at the 5th floor, the lobby and a girl wearing a pencil skirt and a shirt with a white coat came in and looked at me from head to toe and rolled her eyes. She just got here a week ago and I already hate her.
We arrived at the 9th floor and she turns to me when the door opened.
"Not going out??!" She asked sarcastically and I shook my head and she smirked.
"Why? You aren't going to the 12th floor aren't you?! Oh no! You must be in trouble that the boss called you!!" She fake gasped and I was trying to control myself.
"The boss called us Rosé! And can you please go now." Taehyung answered and I need to thank him later for that.
"Whatever." She said and went outside.
"Thanks Tae!" I said and went out since we were in the 12th floor and he followed me.
"Welcome but that is no need she's being an annoying Bïtçh." He said and I chuckled at him before sitting down on my desk and he lied down on the couch.
"Don't you have a shift??" I asked him after him being here for 10 minutes.
"Meh. I'll go rounds and my shift is in the Afternoon around 2." He explained and I nodded my head. I looked at the clock and it was 1 in the afternoon.
"Did you eat already??" I Asked and he shook his head.
"Then what are you doing?!? Let's go eat! I'm starving!!" I stood up and grabbed my bag and went to the elevator.
TIME SKIP
After me and Taehyung ate our lunch he went to do rounds and check on his patients while I was about to go back to my office when someone called me.
"Dr. Kim!!" I turned around and saw one of the Nurses
"Yes?" I asked as I wait for her answer
"There is this kid who's Feeling nauseous and I think it's food poison. The kid's father seems rich so he asked for the best Doctor." She said panting and I nodded my head signaling that I was okay with it and she walked back to where the kid is.
We stopped at my clinic and she bowed at me and left.
I entered it and saw this guy sitting in front of my desk and a little boy in front of him in the left.
"I'm Doctor Kim and you are..?" I held my hand out and he stood up.
"Jimin, Park Jimin." He shakes my hand.
"And I'm Park Jiyun!!" The little boy exclaimed and I smiled at him.
"Hello there little boy!" I Kneeled down his height and ruffled his hair and he giggled.
I stood up and walked towards the chair behind my desk. "So what's wrong with him??" I asked and he looked at me then sigh.
"Let's get straight to the point. I'm a single father his mom left me and I'm looking for a mother figure for him...but all the girls I date seems to not like him and sometimes do bad things to him just like now. The girl tried to poison him and I don't like that so can you please.... Help me." He said like he was forced to do it.
"I don't think I could help. I'm a Doctor not a baby sitter" I said calmly but he rolled his eyes.
"I'll pay you however you like I can give you anything." He said and I sighed.
"Sir Jimin. I don't need your money or anything but I'll think about it first." I smiled at him and he sighed. He got something from his pocket and put it in my table. "Please call me when you have an answer." I nodded and he went out of my clinic with his kid. I didn't even get to treat him or give him a prescription.
I got up from my desk and went outside to get some coffee from Starbucks. When I got inside I saw Jimin and Jiyun sitting on a table with three chairs. I ordered my drink and a donut then I looked around and saw there are no seats left. Jimin and Jiyun have an extra seat so I think they won't mind.
"Hey can I seat here?" They both looked up and Jiyun smiled widely and nodded. I looked at Jimin and he nodded too.
"Sure." He smiled and I took a seat in front of him.
"Dr. Kim did you think about my offer yet??" Jimin asked and I shake my head.
"Call me Sooyoung. I'm not used to people calling me that." Yes that is true. I own the hospital and that's a reason why I'm not always called by my name because It's a secret and only a few people knows.
"What should I call you?" We both turned to Jiyun and I smiled at him.
"It's your choice." I said and he made a thinking face.
"I think you should just call her Aunt Sooyoung." Jimin said and Jiyun nodded at him.
A few more chitchats later Jimin was trying to feed Jiyun and he failed.
"C'mon Jiyun. Eat this." Jiyun crossed his arms and looked at me avoiding his father's pleading.
"Can I try??" I asked and he gave me the fork.
"Jiyun-ah. Look at this! My donut is really sweet and have lots of chocolates!!" He looked at it and by this time I knew he wants some.
"But you know there is also a Food I know that is more sweeter and has more chocolate than mine." I said
"Where is it? I want that!!" He exclaimed and I pointed at his cake.
After he finished his cake Jimin looked at me and said. "Can you come with us when we go home I want to talk about my deal with you." I nodded and he stood up and went to his car.
"Hey wait text me your address here's my number I'll use my car." I gave him my calling card and run inside the hospital.
I went in grabbed my car keys and drove home so I could change my clothes first.
