You got out of your car headed to the tower to pick up any of the teams uniform that needed to be altered modified, or redesigned.
You were like their personal Edna Mode but not her at all. You were your own individual, and you were more carefree lacking glasses and short hair, and you weren't as sassy. (If you have short hair/glasses then you still have em they're just not Edna ehehe) You even would go to the tower if needed though they did mainly come to your mansion. Not only that, but you managed to befriend the team as well.
You got into the lobby only for the the elevators to open revealing Tony.
"Y/n honey how you doing?"
He came over kissing both your cheeks.
"Tony what's bothering you? I can tell I don't just need to modify a uniform or make any of you outfits. You and Pepper aren't having problems are you?"
"No. Turns out Thor brought back Loki claiming he's all good now. He wants me to give him a living space here. A living space."
"Tony you're being a drama queen. Surely if Thor said Loki is better, he's telling the truth."
"I don't care y/n! Him and his alien army added on to my anxiety and nightmares."
"Look. I know nightmares and anxiety are bad, but did it ever occur to you he might have been controlled like Clint."
"What makes you say that? You know what it doesn't matter. Look here's the thing. I don't want him living in my tower."
"Tony Tony Tony."
"No y/n don't do that Tony thing to me. You're here because Loki is going to be residing with you."
"Okay."
"Okay?"
"I'm willing to take him in. He deserves better than living in the tower of a whining baby with people who mistreat him."
"Hey!"
"Tony honey, you know it's true, and you know you love me like a daughter. Now if you don't mind I would like to meet him."
You got on the elevator waiting for Tony as he pressed the button to the floor Loki was on. As soon as you got there you saw him a mess. Thor looked rather sad and stayed close to his brother.
You approached him smiling as you hugged him. He was shocked, but you saw his lips twitch up just the slightest.
"I'm-"
"Y/n l/n. My brother has mentioned you before."
He looked down. Then you realized with all that happened how he must've felt. Tears welled up in your eyes at the thought. How stupid you felt. He was still in his outfit, and he was dirty. Loki died at the hands of Thanos, but he was revived thanks to the time stone. Everything must be so different for him. You happened to survive the snap, but you remained unaware of everything until Thanos was killed. You were the only one Thor told about Loki, and that was before he got revived. The whole lot of heros came telling their story as they cleaned up, and you fixed their uniforms. You were grateful you didn't get snapped, but you also had a sadness for not knowing or trying to do anything for the people. It made you realize you needed to get out more since you hated watching the news.
"Oh my goodness Loki I'm so so sorry."
"Why?"
"I... You..."
"It's alright y/n... Honestly. I heard I was to be living with you."
You nodded blushing slightly for being embarrassed, but you also thought he was extremely handsome. You really did think he deserved better, and he was just misunderstood.
"Yes. You will. How about we go ahead and go home."
You extended your hand. Slowly he took it, and you walked him to the elevator. When you got to the car you were shocked as he opened your door for you. You got in and he shut it for you.
The drive was quiet, but relaxing.
"Welcome home Loki." You smiled as you opened one of the doors.
As he walked in you thought about something deciding to voice your idea.
"Can I wash your hair?"
He looked at you shocked yet again. "You... You would do that?"
"I want to." You nodded grabbing his hand again to confirm your statement.
"I suppose."
You walked him to the sink stopping him. "Wait right here. I'll be right back. I got to get the stuffs."
"The stuffs?" He lightly smiled.
"Yeah... Sorry it's just anything I need. Sometimes I'll just say stuffs." You looked down blushing.
"That's... That's adorable." He chucked. This caused you to blush even more.
"Thanks. Umm... I'll.. I'll be right back."
That made you blush even more. You got towels, shampoo, conditioner, and a chair for him to sit in.
"You can go ahead and sit down and lean your head back."
He did as you asked. Then you realized something.
"They didn't clean or fix your wounds?"
"No. No one knew I was there other than my brother and Stark. Of course my brother never knew how to address wounds, and Stark definitely wasn't going to help me. He knows I'm here, but you and Thor are the only ones who know my story."
You felt so sad for him. "You know what? Why don't you take a hot bath then I'll fix your wounds and wash your hair. If you still want."
"Why are you being so nice to me? Thor told me what I did all those years ago. I killed your family y/n."
You grabbed his hand. "Look I was sad. They are my family after all. However I should try to forgive. Also that was the past. It's best not to live in the past."
"But y/n would you do this for one of your Earth criminals? What makes me any different from them?"
"You are different Loki. You're a hero. Sure you did those things in the past even if you were being controlled, it's in the past. Also you saved the universe. You are apart of something bigger. You were willing to change. You're not like them. However if one was to try and change their ways for the better, I should want to try to help them instead of let something in their past define who they are."
"I... I suppose you are right."
"I'm almost always right darling. Now come with me."
He lightly chucked again as he followed you. You decided to take him to the closet bedroom next to yours.
"This will be your room. We can fix it to your liking later. I don't want you to use your powers because I know they're just illusions. I know they must strain you."
You took him into the bathroom and told him how to turn on the bathtub.
"It should be getting warm now. Would you like some salt?"
"Why would I need salt? It doesn't taste well on it's own. Wait your not going to turn me into soup are you?'
You giggled as you picked up the salt. "No Loki. This salt smells nice and fresh. You put it in your bath. It's therapudic. Like it might ease any pain you might have. My favorite is eucalyptus scented."
"Oh. Okay. I suppose so."
You put in the salts and put out the towels. "Okay that should do it. When you get done just use the towel to dry off. Oh... Umm so you have any injuries on your body?"
"Yes. They're mainly bruises though. I only got cut on my face, but I don't think it will need much done to it other than cleaning it up."
"Oh. Alright. I guess I won't really have to be medic today. So take your bath and stay in for as long as you need. I'm going to put you out some sweatpants and a sweater on your bed. When you get done just dry off and change into those. After you can meet me back in the kitchen."
"Okay... Thanks by the way." He looked down smiling again.
"You're welcome Loki."
While he bathed you put the black sweatpants and green sweater on his bed. Then you went to your kitchen and began to boil some water to make tea for the both of you.
"Loki, what kind of tea do you like?"
"Eheh how did you know I was behind you."
"I have good hearing. Well not only that, but Thor and several of the others, mainly Clint liked to sneak up on me. I got used to it."
You turned around and mentally awed at how cute he looked. Now he looked to squeaky clean other than his greasy hair.
"Oh... Well I like um Earl Grey."
"Alright. I normally go for blueberry. We can have our tea after I wash your hair." You patted the chair, and he sat down leaning his head back.
You took the head of the sink and wet his hair running your fingers through it. Then you got your shampoo.
"I'm sorry to use my shampoo, but it's the only kind I have."
He looked up at you smiling, "It's alright. Your hair smells very nice."
You blushed again as you began to lather his hair in the shampoo. You scrubbed making sure it was all in. You also massaged his head, and you held in a laugh as he closed his eyes leaning into your touch.
"Have you never had anyone wash your hair?"
His eyes remained closed as he sighed, "Not in a long time no. The only one who washed my hair was my mum when I was little. I didn't even have maids. I wanted to do and learn everything for myself, so when I got older that's when I started doing everything for myself."
"Why are you letting me wash your hair then?" You stopped for a moment, and he opened his eyes staring at you.
"Well at first I did it just because you asked. Now I'm glad I did because this feels nice. It also helps me connect and learn more about you especially if I'm to be living with you."
"That's true. Plus I really don't mind."
You went back to washing his hair then conditioned it. (I don't know what guys do sorry, but let's just say you want to make sure his hair doesn't look greasy.) Then you rinsed it all out putting a towel on his head.
You grabbed his hand leading him to your living room making him sit on the floor in front of your couch. You made both your teas handing him his after asking what he liked in it. Then you sat behind him beginning to towel dry his hair.
"This feels very nice y/n."
You couldn't help but giggle especially when he sighed. Once his hair was dry, you put the towel back on the hangar.
"Well Loki, you're finished."
He looked up at you with puppy dog eyes, "Y/n... Can you continue to play with my hair?"
"Oh of course darling. How about you sit up here with me. In fact, you can lie down on the couch and put your head on a pillow that I'll put on my lap."
"Really?"
"Really."
He slowly got up sitting on the couch stretching out as you got a pillow to place on your lap. You also turned on the TV to your favorite show. Loki slowly placed his head on your lap looking up at you before turning to the side.
You began to run your fingers through his hair even braiding some strands. You couldn't help but giggle every time he purred, or leaned into your touch. It was also funny and cute when he whined if you stopped or took your hands of his head to drink some tea or change the channel. Then he'd sigh when your hand came back in contact with his head.
He was being extremely cute, and you already felt a crush for him emerging in your heart. Eventually he sat up cutely yawning.
"Y/n... Thank you... I...I think I'm going to go to bed."
"You're welcome, and sleep tight Loki."
He nodded heading to his room. When he left you stretched out on the couch lying on the pillow Loki laid on. Even though it was your shampoo, the fact that his head was on it made your heart swell.
Apparently you must've fallen asleep, however there was something unusual about it. That's when you realized arms were wrapped around your waist. Slowly you opened your eyes to be met with one sleeping Loki.
He looked so peaceful. He did however have a strand of hair covering his face, so you gently pushed it behind his ear smiling.
This was the moment that you knew you were undoubtedly in love with him. You cuddled into his chest, and in his sleep, he pulled you closer. You sighed yourself before falling back asleep in the arms of the man you were falling in love with.
