Today is Friday, meaning I am not supposed to go to the school for the Haunted House Party. HHP. I really want to go because Adele and Marli are going, and they consisted on me going. So I guess I will. It starts on six in the afternoon, so I will get ready at 5:30. I have a black feathered mask.
Where is my bra? I need it for tonight! No, it's not in my drawers, it's not. It's not in my closet. I hear Cindy panting and I look back and she has it it her mouth. Your kidding me right?
"Cindy! Give it." I say, she runs down the hall and to the living room.
This is literal bull..!!!! I have other bra's but this one is my favorite. Black lace like whaaaaa.?? I chase Cindy not looking were I am going. She runs around the house and I smal into a literal brick wall. Ouch.
"Ouch.." I mumble to my self. I look up and I see a familiar face. Zeke. Why was he here? How did he know my address? He reaches his hand out, offering to help me up.
I see Cindy sitting next to me with. My. Bra in her mouth. I feel my cheeks heat up because how can you not?
"Zeke? What are you doing here?" I ask him, while rubbing my head. He smiles and looks down at Cindy and I blush even more, if that was even possible. Oh right, it is because he sees my dog holding my bra in her mouth.
"To keep you company since you aren't going to the Haunted House Party. Duhhh." He says in a girly voice. I chuckle a little. Ugh! He is ruining my chance of sneaking over there. Grr
"No, I am going." He rolls his eyes very dramatically and goes down to my height. I cross my arms and raise my eyebrow.
"No your not." Why can't I..? Not like I am gonna get murdered. I mean no one will even see me because I have a mask on.
"You can't stop me." I look at the time and it's five. "Oh wow look at the time! I need to get ready!" I run up to my room, leaving him without saying a word.
I see the dress that is dark blue almost black, that shows a little cleavage, which I don't like, but it goes down to the floor so I have to wear short heels.
I am curling my hair, and I will do my eyelashes.
I strip off all my clothes so all I am left in my underwear and bra. I still haven't gotten my favorite bra from Cindy. Oh god. I slip on the dress that hugs my curves, mhm, this dress is long. I need the small heels. Why does this dress have to be strapless!?
"Nice dress." I jump and look back and Zeke was there. He didn't see me getting dressed did he...
"You didn't see me getting dressed, did you..?" I say nervously. I mean I don't want someone that isn't my boyfriend to see me in my bra and underwear.
Not like I would ever get a boyfriend, but still, you get the analogy.
"No, I just walked in, I mean I did see your back but that's all." I sighed of relief, thank God. I didn't want him to see me like, uh, yea. "But your not going Alaya. Just please dont." You know what I live about this dress? It's like belle's sleeves. It goes lower, like it doesn't go on my shoulders, it goes lower than that.
"Oh yes I am, and would you look at that? It's time for me to go." No it wasn't, I was just gonna head downstairs to see Cindy before I leave.
I never realized that this dress has a slit that goes up to my mid thigh. So this dress has cute sleeves, ling dress, dark blue almost half, shows my cleavage just a little, and it has a slit. Oh oh! And it comes with a mask.
I let Cindy on the head, and Zeke walks down the stairs look at me with relief in his eyes. He walks up to me only a foot away, we both stare into eachothers eyes.
"Don't go, I am telling you now." I looked away. I know he is telling me now, but I am Alaya, I do as I want. I know they are trying to protect me, but, what is the worst thing that is gonna happen?
"Zeke.. I will be fine. If I die then I die. If I live then I live. I am not a vampire so unfortunately, I will not live forever. I am human, I am supposed to die eventually. It's either sooner or later, and if I die, then it's sooner." That was a speech I can tell vampires, so they understand that I will not live forever. But they can. Meaning if I die tonight, then so it be.
"Fine." I walk up to him, and hug him. Letting him know I will be fine. He hugs back and I walk out of my house.
I live fairly close to the school, I would say it is a 5 minute walk from here. I have my mask with me so I put it on, I didn't curl my hair, and I did have mascara on.
I step foot on the campus and I remember that Cogan and Xander wanted me to come, so I need to make sure he doesn't find me. But I do need to find Adele and Marli and tell them that I am under cover, hiding from Cogan, Xander, and Dolan.
I walk into the crowded gym and there was strobe lights, loud music, food tables, and the Haunted House I helped with, a little...
"Marli!" I see Adele and Marli and there costumes were so cute. Adele was dressed as a Witch and Marli was dressed as an Angel.
"Alaya! Yay!" She hugged me and Adele smiled at me.
"Guys, don't let the guys know I am here. Please." I plead because I really don't want them to know.
"Ugh fine." I get taken away from them by the dancing crowd. .aybe it's better be ause they would know it's me because I am with them all the time at school.
I walk around, and I saw a door cracked open slightly with a window. I walked up to it and I saw Cogan and Xander talking to each other. Also why was Carson in there? And I couldn't help but to listen to what they are talking about.
"No, Cogan I already told you! Damn! When Alaya arrives, I will kill her." Wait what?! Did he just say that he was gonna kill me? I heard him correctly and he. Oh god.
"You don't need to kill her." Carson said. Why is Carson there? I thought he was my friends and on the side where he doesn't want to hurt or kill me. Huh.
"Yes. I do." Xander tells them
"I like to play with her feelings though.. It sounds way more fun." Cogan said. He never actually had done anything to me, but I think tonight he will. Not like that you nasty! Grossss.
They all look over here and they see me. "Hey! That gurl probably heard what we had said! Get her!" They all run out the door and I run into the loud, dancing crowd. Hoping to find a spot where they can't see me.
I look around and I don't see them so I think I am good. I walk casually over to a darker corner, particularly somewhere where they wouldn't see me because I am wearing all back, in a dark corner.
As I am walking, I feel cold arms wrap around my an all waist and a cold hand go over my mouth. This person takes me to a secluded place, and I feel trapped.
This person, puts me on the cold hard wall, with my shoulder blades on the wall. I look at the person and it's Carson. I look away so he doesn't know it's me.
"How much did you hear?" He whisper yells at me. I don't answer because he would know my voice. "Who are you?" He asks me. I still don't answer because I don't want him to know it's me. "Fine. I will take off you mask." I kick him and kick him, and he says a little ouch but he continues to take my mask off. I hide my face as he takes it off, with my dark brown hair covering my face.
"Alaya...." He whispers. He puts me down and I run my arm, from where he was holding it. "Come with me." He says grinding his teeth. I was afraid of what he would do.
Knowing he is with Xander and Cogan, he could bring me to Xander or even Cogan and Carson would let one of them feast on me.
When I say that, it reminds me of how Noah and Dolan. How Dolan said if he had to he would turn me, only for my protection.
He brings me to Xander and Cogan, I thought he was my friend.... But i guess not.
"Well well. Now you know my little plan. Theres no way of getting out of it. Carson, go away." Carson drops me and runs out if the room.
My heart raced, as I knew tonight was my night to die.
"Why has the human returned?" He emphasized the word 'human' meaning he is gonna do something.
"You know what Xander. I am tired of the little games you play! God damn. No wonder every one hates you in this school." Maybe it wasn't the best idea to tell a vampire who is already about to kill you. But let's be real here, what do I really have to loose? I have nothing. His eyes turned blood red, but Cogan steps up to me instead.
Xander grabbed my hand and took the ring and dropped it on the floor.
"What is that, sweet sweet smell?" Cogan asks. He goes up to me and sniffs my whole body like a bloodhound. His eyes go the deepest red, and his fangs come out.
I know that in the real world, to tune into a vampire you don't need to be bitten, you need to be bitten and then feed on a vampires blood. But if your boby shuts out, all it takes are bites after bites and your one.
I have heels on, so I kick Cogan as hard as I could and he goes to the floor. Let's just say I uh, kicked him where the sun don't shine.
Xander looked down and before he could look up, I was already heading for the door. But he grabbed my arm and pulled me back.
He was centimeters away from my lips, he would probably trial his lips down to my neck, and bite.
"Xander stop!" I yelled at him, kicking him off. I need my ring, but I can't get it right now.
"Just one, tiny bite." He back up, and then went full force going to my neck.
But I felt his body get pushed off of mine.
I look around and, it's Dolan and Carson. Okay so now they come? Well I don't expect them to help me at all times. I just want to be able to defend myself. But that is impossible if I am mortal fighting against an imortal.
I run out if the room, and getting outside of the gym so I can get uh, um. Air..? Do you believe that? No? Okay.
I might as well walk home, because I have nothing better to do other than go home and watch some Netflix. Oh god I left Zeke there. Oh and I need to check Cindy because of what Xander had done to her.
I speed up my walking, and I can hear the music booming from the building. Only making me remember more and more. MY RING. DAMN IT. I turn around and run back, bumping into something. I look up and I see it's Dolan. He is the least of my worrys right this second.
"Sorry dolan." I walk last him and speed walk to the school, but a cold hand grabs my wrist.
"Dolan stop. I forgot, er, left something there." He pulls the ring out of my pocket and I sigh of relief.
"Thank you." I mumble to myself.
Ugh these shows are killing me. I thought to myself. I take them off and hold them in my hands. Great now my feet are sore.
"I need to get home, Xander hurt my dig and I need to check on her." I told him as I walked away. Limping because wearing heels are a pain in my ass. Why is being a girl so hard?
I feel cold hands lift me up bridal style and I gasp, feeling shocked thay someine had picked me up. I look at who was holding me and is was Dolan, why didn't I expect It?
I realize I didn't put my ring on...
"Can vampires read human's minds?" I ask him. His ocean blue are are like mine, but darker. ALAYA! PUT the his damn ring on! I out the ring on so he can't read my mind.
"Yea. But I don't think mine are any darker than yours." He gives me a playful wink and I felt my cheeks heat up. And I just noticed he is still carrying me.
We arrive at my house, and he eyes me down at my doorstep. I give him a smile and I unlock the door and walk in, Dolan follows me and I close it behind him.
I have the ring on, finally, so he can't read my thoughts anymore. I walk over to Cindy and she was walking almost okay. I think Zeke had left already. Good good.
"I'm gonna go get uh, changed.." He gives a smile, and in case you didn't know, any of his smiles are heart melting.
I wasn't trying to sound cliché or anything but I am not even joking. His smiles melts my heart. Making me more and more attractive. Probably not even possible but it is. I have said that a lot haven't I? Well it's true.
I change into pajama shorts and a tank top, and I put my ankle high socks on, in case you didn't know are black. With a little neon.
I walk back down the stairs and I gasp out of surprise or shock. I can't tell.
