"Twenty One Pilots posted new songs!" I called out, pressing Jumpsuit on YouTube to watch the video.
I was clearly ignored by my boyfriends as I watched Tyler Joseph's and Josh Dun's new creation. I kept making small comments like, "Oh my gosh, is that Jenna?" and "Holy shit, his black neck appeared then disappeared!"
I finished the video and I noticed another song, Nico and the Niners. I squeaked and quickly pressed it, my mind racing. I watched an ad, an ad of Twenty One Pilots' new concert that is coming in October in New York City. I screamed joyfully, lifting my phone from where it was laying on the bed and raised it above me as I switched positions. "I need to go!"
I listened to the song before I quickly pressed a link I found in the description for the new concert coming. I noticed no tickets are coming out yet. I quickly sighed, pressing another link on accident. When I saw it was Ticket Master, I quickly typed in a username and password to become a member. I quickly found my way through the website and I was sent an email by them. I'd have to wait until Monday to know if I'd be chosen, since tickets are rare around this time and it's only Wednesday. I nodded to myself and quickly looked at another email that was from the Twenty One Pilots page sent to me. It was of when the new album, Trench, would be out. I smiled at the date. October 5 seemed far, but I will wait for this perfection.
Sighing happily, I quickly found myself buying the two songs on iTunes, deciding I'd need to work overtime to get enough money to get the tickets. I got myself out of bed and showered. I then texted my boss, asking if I could do overtime. I got dressed into shorts and a Twenty One Pilots shirt I own. Smiling, I made my way to the kitchen after grabbing my phone and slipping it into my pocket. Lafayette was in the kitchen, making breakfast.
"What were you screaming about, mon amour?" Laf asked, kissing my head afterwards.
"Twenty One Pilots posted after a whole year," I explained, grabbing a (favorite drink) that Laf grabbed for me. I kissed his cheek before walking to the living room.
"It was more like squeaking," Alex teased, making me nudge him.
I felt my phone go off in my pocket. I took it out and saw my boss sent many hours of where I could work. I smiled when I saw at the end of the message, 'I know they posted. You'll be getting $11.50 every hour extra.'
I texted her back a thanks and walked towards the door. "I'm heading to work."
"I thought you had today off," John called from the living room.
"Not anymore," I waved as I left the apartment.

I checked my emails annoyed, the sixth time I did it today. "Nothing," I murmured to myself, placing my phone down once more. I quickly typed more emails from my work email to others, explaining the new work hours that needed to be covered. I took work hours during the day, leaving the night hours to others that I knew who would be able to do it.
I noticed my phone went off and I quickly checked it, thinking it was an email. When it was Lafayette, I sighed dramatically, but checked it anyway. I checked the text, pretty much saying we have a dinner for Alex's job this Friday. I texted I could do it, changing my schedule that I had on my email, clearing the evening for Friday. I felt my phone go off again and I noticed there was no notification. I smiled and quickly made my way to my email. I noticed it was from Ticketmaster.
"I am on the wait list," I mumble, rubbing my face with one hand with aggravation. I placed my phone down and finished my email for the week. I sent it to all of my workers, since I'm a manager. I closed my laptop and plugged it in, standing up and stretching. I checked the time, it was only 10 in the morning. I sighed, knowing this would be a long day.
"(Y/n), come here!" I heard someone call out. I made my way over, knowing I had to work, even if I didn't want to.

I watched my email like a hawk, no emails to confirm any type of tickets. I sighed, slouching at my desk I sat at. It's now Wednesday and normal tickets are coming out July 20th at 10 A.M.. I hated waiting, wanting to get some good seats that aren't already taken. I preferred to be in the pit, but that won't happen.
I noticed my phone going off, it was Hercules. I answered it, mumbling, "Hello?"
"Hi (Y/n)!" I heard John through the phone.
"Hi cupcake," Herc was heard next. "I wish you were here! We miss you like crazy."
"I'm sorry," I say, rubbing my face a bit as I looked at my work email. "I just have a lot of hours to cover, surprisingly. Everyone wanted many weeks off to go on vacation and I have to cover a lot of hours."
"I know, honey," Hercules mumbles. "I just wish you could take a break."
"I wish, too," I mumble back, looking at my keyboard with sadness. I heard a worker call for me. "That's my cue. I'll call you later, okay?"
"I love you, baby," Alex was heard, making me smile.
"I love you all, too," I reply before bidding a goodbye, hanging up. Back to work, I suppose.

I groaned, rubbing the back of my neck as I rolled it around a bit, hearing cracks echo from it. I knew today was the day tickets for Twenty One Pilots get in, but I wasn't too worried about it. I'm sure they had enough for me to get a few emails done before I did anything about them.
A gentle hand was placed on my shoulder and I felt a hand on my other, a massage beginning. I leaned into the touch, knowing it was either John or Lafayette. "Hi sweetheart," John murmured.
"Hi," I mumble, closing my eyes as he did this, his hands sliding over to the back of my neck. A nice pressure was placed where it hurt the most and I almost groaned in satisfaction. "I see you've been working hard for a while. How about a break?"
"John, I have to just do a few emails, then I'll be done," I tell him, leaning back more.
"Come on," he turned my swivel chair around to face him. "Time to eat."
I silently denied this demand, but had no choice as he picked me up bridal style.

I stared at the website that held the tickets, finding the New York City one. "Sold out?" I mumble, tears coming to my eyes as I retread the Sold Out text. I felt my heart speed up as I stared at my phone screen. I quickly scrolled through the list of cities of USA, finding Uniondale was also sold out. Tears streamed down my face as my phone fell from my hand onto the bed.
"(Y/n), there's spaghetti and meatballs in-" Alex stopped dead on his tracks as soon as he saw me on my bed, tears falling to my lap. "Hey, hey, what's wrong?" He rushed over to me and hugged me tightly. "What happened?"
I felt like crying for hours. I worked extra time for these tickets. I can't believe I couldn't buy any tickets whatsoever. I grabbed my phone and let him take it. "Hey, it's okay. You'll get tickets the next time they do a concert."
"What if there isn't another concert?" I asked suddenly, my eyes finding his. "They just posted a new album after more than three years. I worked very hard for tickets, knowing they'd be expensive. I couldn't even get on the list of people who could buy tickets early."
"Come on, I want to show you something," Alex lifted me up on my feet, walking me out to the dining room, where the rest of the boys sat.
"We got dinner rea-" Hercules saw my tear stained face, frowning suddenly. "What's going on?"
"Show her," Alex told the boys, making my eyebrows furrow.
"Really? What about after dinner?" John asked, standing up.
"Now is perfect," Lafayette said, standing up as well. John shrugged, grabbing a box that sat on the counter.
"Here, open this. It's from all of us," John says, smiling.
I slowly removed the top off the boxed gift, gasping as I held up 5 tickets to see Twenty One Pilots, numbers being one hundred. I gasped and hugged Alex first. "Thank you!" I hugged all my boys, crying happy tears now. "Oh my god, thank you!"
"Hey, you were excited. We had to do it early this morning," Hercules explained, kissing my head softly.
"I'm glad we got them on time because they were running out quickly, and they were definitely expensive," John added in, kissing my lips quickly.
"I love you all so much," I conclude, wiping my cheeks with a bright smile.
"Let's eat, okay?" Alex got me to sit down, taking the tickets and placing them on the counter.
"Have you listened to their new songs?" I asked excitedly, making the boys laugh.
They were the best.

I didn't get to buy tickets, so I wish this happened to me.
I'm just glad the boys are back.
