The discomfort in my stomach woke me up.
I slowly opened my eyes and good heavens and the angels above.
Cade was right beside me. His eyes looked right into mine.
"You're awake finally." He said.
"Yeah." I squinted my eyes, the lighting in the room was blinding.
"Aww poor thing, you can't see without these can you?" He asked with my glasses in his hand.
"Yeah." I said again.
He placed my glasses right where they belonged.
I sighed in relief.
"Much better." I said.
I looked around and the room we were in looked nothing like the one we were in earlier. I wore a soft silk night dress. It was made of lace and it was barely covering anything.
"This isn't mine." I said pointing at the night dress I was wearing.
"Oh yeah, I had to change you cause you soiled your clothes with puke." He said with a smile.
O.M.G... so this means that if he changed me, he had obviously seen my naked body.
"Ohh umm, thanks I guess." I said.
"No problem, I had to shower since you know, you puked on me."
"Oh yeah, sorry about that." I said and felt my cheeks heating up.
I actually didn't realise how close I was to him. He was shirtless and he wore a really short pair of shorts.
My eyes trailed from his eyes all the way down.
"So uhh I need to go home." I said trying to escape the heat of the moment.
I got up to leave and he stopped me. He grabbed my wrist and once again I stood face to face with him.
"It's around 3 in the morning, everyone's gone and you're unstable, you can't drive home like this." He said. And for the first time ever, Cade showed concern for me.
"My bad. I didn't realise it was this late. I guess I'll stick around." I said and went back to sit on his bed.
And we were back to square one. Just sitting and staring at each other. Then it hit me! I had seen him with Brenda earlier. And he currently has a girlfriend, Kendall...
"So, about what I saw earlier..." I began.
"I can explain." He said quickly.
"You don't owe me any explanation. I think Kendall is the one who deserves one."
"Well true. But on the other hand, you saw it and you might just tell her..."
"Really?" I asked with my voice getting a little higher.
"I don't mean it that way, but like umm it's a long story."
"Ohh the night is still young. I'd like to know why you'd cheat on Kendall with Brenda. I mean isn't Kendall the top fine girl whom every boy drools over?"
"She is. But people only see the outward appearance of our relationship not the inward. It's like everyone sees it as Superman and Wonder woman finally found each other but it's not." He said.
"Well, you've seen my inward and I've seen yours, so why don't you just tell me?" I said in the flirtiest way ever.
He laughed and he began to tell me all about Kendall.
"She's just not for me. We always argue and she wants to be picture perfect and I just want to make love. She didn't even show up last night for the party. And rumour has it that she's been sleeping around with Jack." He explained.
"Jack? That's crazy. Jack is dating Alison, my best friend. And even if it's true, you know two wrongs don't make a right. You should fix your relationship." I said and immediately regretted saying those words.
He nodded his head to what I said and thanked me for the advice. Later on, I dozed off to sleep and kept thinking about what had happened...
I didn't want him to fix his ratchet relationship, I wanted him all to myself but not so fast I guess...
