Ya girl got her a new phone 😊

I decided to make myself look a little decent, so after the phone call I got ready. I walked over to my closet and opened the door. So many clothes on hangers, but only a few that I actually liked. I pulled down maroon flowey shirt and ripped black skinny jeans. I went to take a shower to freshen up a bit.
I turned on the hot water and waited for he water to heat up. As I waited I took off the makeup residue that I forgot to take off last night. Steam stared to fill the bathroom so I undressed myself and stepped into the shower. The warm water cascaded down my body making me more awake.
Once I finished I wrapped myself in a towel as beads of water fell from my soaked hair. I brushed through the tangled mess and then got dressed. I pulled my hair into a bun and then decided to apply light makeup such as foundation, concealer, and mascara. Just as I was finishing up with look with a lipgloss the doorbell rang.
My heart was racing as I quickly walked down the stairs. Even though Shawn and I ended and the only reason he was even here was to gather the rest of his things, I still wanted to see him.
I opened the door with a big smile. My eyes met his brown ones and I immediately felt happy again.
"Hi-," I cut myself off from saying anything else when my eyes fell onto a girl with glossy brown curls and a perfect smile. I immediately recognized who she was. I squeezed the doorknob in my hand as I kept the smile on my face, "come in." I said trying to sound as nice as possible.
Shawn brushed past me making my heart shatter on the floor beneath me. What did I expect though? For him to be happy and speak to me? He was simply here for a reason, and once he got his things he would leave and we probably wouldn't speak again.
Camila stood awkwardly as Shawn walked up the stairs to the bedroom we once shared. "Would you like something to drink or anything?" I asked.
Her brown eyes looked away from a photo hanging in the living room before she spoke, "oh no, thank you though."
Why did she have to be nice? Now I don't have a good reason to dislike her.
"Well if you need anything just let me know, I'm going to go help Shawn find his stuff. Make yourself comfortable." I shrugged before walking up the stairs.
While I walked up the stairs my eyes found the photo she was looking at. It was a photo of shawn and I on our trip to bora bora. He had his arms wrapped around me as I laughed hysterically in his grip. He was looking down at me while I looked off at something as I laughed. It was my favorite photo of Shawn and I. There was no particular reason why I never took it down, I guess I just loved it so much.
I walked in the room to see Shawn looking into the closet with a confused look.
"Your stuff is on hangers in the back," I told him.
He turned his head to look at me, "where are the photos from Barbados?" He asked.
"They are in my guest room, I'll go get them." I said pushing myself off the doorframe before walking dow the hall. The photos were in a small box on the dresser. The box was full of them, not just from Barbados. All of the photos from our relationship.
I heard the door close as I walked back to the bedroom. I saw Shawn running his fingers through his messy curls.
"Here." I said handing them to him. His hand brushed against mine as he grabbed it causing my heart to skip a beat. I swallowed hard and stepped back from him.
He opened the box with his large hands. He had a new beautiful tattoo on his hand.
"When did you get that?" I asked Shawn admirer the tattoo.
"A while ago," he said as he picked up the stack of photos.
"Oh," I said looking at the photos from a distance, "it's bea-," he cut me off.
"Don't do this," he said shaking his head and standing up.
"Do what?" I asked confused as his sudden change.
"Don't try to do this small talk or conversation. I came here to get my things and that's it." He said in an angry and annoyed tone.
I was silent for a second as he turned around and went back to the closet, "your sweatshirts are in the top drawer." I said softly before turning on my heel and walking out of the bedroom with tears brimming my eyes.
I wiped the tear that managed to fall as I walked down the stairs. I didn't see camila so I figured she left. Which I found strange because I thought they came together. I looked out the window to see Shawn's still parked in the driveway. I thought it was strange but I just blew it off.
I ran my fingers through my hair before checking my phone for any messages.
Brad- hey sorry won't be able to make it tonight, maybe tomorrow?
Me- it's okay, and yeah that's fine.
I sighed and placed my phone down on the counter before leaning my head into the palm of my hand.
"I'm sorry." The sound of Shawn's voice made me jump. I turned my head to see him with a bag over his shoulder and a sympathetic look on his face.
"It's okay, you're right. You came her to get your things, that's all." I shrugged as I got up to face him.
"I'm not sorry for just that," he shook his head and walked closer to me, "I'm sorry for ending what we had. I would do anything to have you back, but I know it's different now. You have brad, and you seen happy," my heart broke as he spoke and a lump grew in my throat, "just know that i love you and I always will." Shawn gave me a small toothless smile before turning to walk to the door.
"Shawn," I chasing after him, "wait." He stopped as his hand reached for the door knob.
"I'm not happy with brad. I've spent the past few months wishing that things wouldn't of went the way they did between us," I stepped closer to him, "I love you and I always will."
His bag fell from his shoulder before he cupped my face with his warm large hands. His warm lips crashed onto mine. The feeling that I had whenever he kissed me still sparked the way it always did.
Before anyone comments "he was with camila," he had her to make y/n feel guilty. Just clearing that up.
