I woke up I'll the next day next to Zion for the millionth time. I reach over and grab my phone which the alarm was going off. I had a two hours before my next class and noticed all the text messages asking if I remind Zion about rehearsal from the guys.
I throw on my undergarments and a huge tshirt and gently shake Zion in attempt to wake him up.
He did budge.
"Zion, babe?" I shake a little bit harder causing some slight movement.
I continue to repeat calling his name, receiving a load groan as he pulls the blanket closer after ten minutes.
"Oh well," I give up and do some skincare before heading into the kitchen area of the sweet style dorm.
I pull out some cereal and milk the begin to eat. My roommate Jessica enters through the front door, coming back from a jog.
She sets her keys down and takes off her light weight jacket, "Did you come home with someone last night?"
"Yeah, my boyfriend slept over pretty late last night, sorry if we were loud," I explain.
"You have a boyfriend?" Jessica says excitingly.
"Yeah, he wont get up, going at it for about one month or so," I respond, scooping more food into my mouth.
"I guess I'll have to wait to see him, so did you guys do you know what last night?" She wiggles her eyebrows suggestively.
Before I can reply, Dylan walks into the area and answers, "That's the biggest understatement of the century."
"Shut up, your so gross," I say slightly disturbed that they think of others doing it.
"Hes hot too," Dylans adds on, grabbing a granola bar.
"I gotta agree, Zion is incredibly hot," I say smiling to myself when Zion drags himself out, dressed.
"Thanks," Zion says, his voice lower and more groggy than usual.
Jessica's eye widen significantly, "Holy shit, you got a brother?"
"Not unless you want to be classified as a pedophile," I reply for him as he pulls out the chair next to me.
He slumps down sitting and lays his head on the table, tired from lack of sleep.
"Yikes, tell him to hit me up when hes legal," She says.
I scrunch up my nose, "gross."
"Just a joke...partially," Jessica winks, Zion semi-chuckles.
"So how did you get this fine meal," Jessica asks me.
"I brought Kiara to their concert," I replies, finishing up the last of my cereal.
"And that's it?" She inquires raising her eyebrow.
"Prettymuch,"
"No no no, you see, after the concert, we met again and talked so she gave me her number and I hit her up cause she was funny, nice, and fine as hell," Zion elaborated finally raising his head.
"Oh, so you thought Hazel was hot?" Jessica further questions as I put my dirty dish away and fix up some cereal for Zion.
"No no no, I though she was beautiful," He corrected.
"Damn Hazel, can you find me one too?" Jessica jokes.
I walk over and place the bowl in front of him, "hey in four years, his brother is available."
Zion turns his head to face me and fully chuckles, showing off his beautiful smile.
"You have rehearsals today," I inform.
He scoops a huge bite of frosted flakes and nods his head, shaking his dreads.
"So when are your next classes?" I ask, directly the conversation to Dylan and Jessica.
"Better than ever," Jessica says in a dreary sarcastic tone.
"I want to die," Dylan replies monotonously.
I rest my face on my hands, letting my hair fall around my shoulders, "Sounds about right."
"Thank god I dont have to go to college," Zion says with a mouth full of food.
"You dont go to college?" Jessica asks with a crazy look on her face.
Zion simply shakes his head no.
Consequently, Jessica asks in a surprised tone, "Then what do you do?"
"I'm in a band," Zion answers, finishing up his breakfast.
"Wh-wha-wh-wha" Jessica stutters.
"You spilled lipstick in my Valentino bag?!" I quote making Dylan and Zion laugh hard, "met at his concert remember? They are on tour right now."
"Ooo," Jessica leans in, interested, "So what is your name?"
"Zion," he replies.
"I'm gonna go get ready, I have class in an hour and havent finished all the homework yet," I say getting up the table.
"I got to go get ready for my rehearsal," Zion adds.
"I've got to go get ready for class too," Dylan finally says.
"How rude, leaving me hear all alone," Jessica jokes, overdramatically.
"You'll learn how to live," I tease, smiling as I walk back into my room, Zion following behind.
Standing in front of my closet, I try to decide which shirt to wear. Arms wrap around my shoulders and Zion rests his chin upon my right shoulder. As I reach out and grab a typical outfit, he begins to peck small, goofy kisses down my neck.
I throw my outfit onto my desk chair before bursting into laughter from the tickles. I hear Zion chuckle, amused by my over ticklishness.
Turning around, I jokingly hit his arm and say, "Dont laugh at my chronic ticklishness."
A huge smile remains on his face, "I cant help it."
I overdramatically drop my jaw, making him laugh. Like the butterfly effect, I find myself laughing alongside.
I do a little dance in order to get into my jeans and see Zion still smiling.
"Stop staring, creep," I roll my eyes.
"I can stare at whatevers mine, all I want," Zion replies giving me a cheesy smile.
Pulling off my shirt and slip on my new, clean one, Zion starts to sing Jocelyn Flores absolutely beautifully.
I sit in my desk chair listening to him serenade me, completely, utterly mesmerized. Obvious to Zion, he sees my reaction, still smiling, he steps closer to me, maintaining eye contact.
Just as he is about to finish, I stand up and we both lean into each other. My eyes focus on his lips slowly moving closer and closer until my eyes flutter shut and our lips connect. While our lips move smoothly in unison, my hand reaches to lightly hold his cheek.
The kiss releasing so many emotions at once yet very slow. Almost like it was making up for the other times we missed together.
We break apart after the gentle kiss, Zion comments, "I think I'm addicted to kissing you."
"Is that a bad thing?"
"You tell me."
He grabs my ass slightly and pulls me in closer again to give me another kiss. Instead, I give him a quick peck and break apart to pack my stuff.
"You have to get to rehearsals," I remind him.
"Oh yeah, visit before tonights's concert?" Zion asks.
"Sure," I agree.
Zion grabs his things from my small room, "Bye babe,"
"See you tonight."
