Bree Amon lived in the cluster of forests in the middle of the wild, working out her shifts at a diner called Mo's to get her through each day was enough. She never asked for more and she never felt anything was ever too little. Her life was fair and normal, even when supernatural beings coexisted in her little world.
But when a young man stops her in the middle of the road of a full moon after one of her long and languid shifts, his grin half, his sweat prominent - and he asks for her help, Bree couldn't escape the obligation of helping a stranger.
And what did that fairytale warned? Don't talk to strangers? Don't stop on your way home?
Bree was about to learn precisely what they meant.
