I walked down into the kitchen to find Connor rested upon Lottie's knee. She was feeding him his formula, and the sight was absolutely adorable. I immediately ran back up the stairs in search of my camera. It had begun quite an addiction snapping photos of the boys all the freaking time. Louis was worse though, he would probably be the dorky dad who took a million photos of them on their first day of school. Sure I would want at least one keepsake of that day but Louis will for sure post them on twitter to further their embarrassment in later years.
I rushed past Louis, who was only wearing his boxers, a sleepy grin on his face as he wandered down the staircase himself, soon to discover his son in the arms of his beautiful younger sister.
I made sure to run straight into our room where my phone was rested on top of our bed. As soon as I held it in my hands I rushed back down to the kitchen not caring that I could probably break my ankle from tripping. I was too focused on taking the perfect picture.
"Watch it Mrs Tomlinson." Louis teased grabbing hold of my arm as I entered the kitchen. He then pulled me into him, as he planted soft kisses against my chapped lips.
"I love you." He whispered, placing his spare hand on my bum.
"Real smooth Louis." I gave him a look as if to say 'You're doing this here?'
"Okay, Okay take your photo." He laughed, moving back around the bench to make his morning cup of tea.
"They are so cute." I gushed, taking about six photographs of the pair. Connor was moving his hands and feet around, he took after his father as he'd never sit still.
"Oh shh you." Lottie said embarrassed.
"What? Am I not allowed to take photos of my gorgeous family?" I asked her, as I took a seat on the kitchen bench.
"He is gorgeous isn't he?" Lottie asked, holding up the baby next to her face.
"Definately." I agreed.
The baby monitor started to play the loud cries of my other son. I looked over to Louis raised an eyebrow after taking a sip of his tea. I climbed off the bench knowing that I had to go back up those stairs. It was quite a workout really; it was probably the reason why I lost so much weight after having the twins. In a way they were a blessing.
"I'll get him." I said to the both, not like they were listening anyway.
"Hello my gorgeous boy." I cooed once I'd opened the door of the twins' room. He was lying down in his cot, crying his eyes out. It broke my heart every time they cried and I hated having to leave them to cry during the night.
"You want to come down and see Aunty Lottie?" I asked him in my baby voice. He stopped crying as I scooped down to pick him up.
"You do?" I asked him still in my very impressive baby voice, of course he didn't respond but he started to sound happier already.
"Daddy's having a cup of tea, and Connor's with Lottie. Did you miss Mummy last night?" I asked him again. He grabbed hold of my shirt and pulled at it.
"You did?" I leant down to kiss his forehead.
I kept talking to him as I trudged down the staircase and back into the kitchen. This time Louis was holding the baby and Lottie was making herself some breakfast.
"Look who's here!" I told Nicholas, he too began kicking his legs just as his brother was doing before.
"Swap." I said to Lou handing him the baby. He took hold of him as he held the both of them in his arms.
"Come on, you can't hold both of them." I nagged, crossing my arms immaturely.
"Fine, here you go." He said handing Connor over to me.
"Hey baby."

"So when's your due date again?" I asked Penny on the phone later that morning. Louis and the boys were down at the study and Lottie had taken the boys for a walk in the pram. Penny often called me for advice on her pregnancy and other things.
"Tomorrow" She told me, and I gasped not realising it was that soon.
"Do you think it will come then?" I asked her, although it wasn't proven most women could tell when they were ready to pop.
"I'm not sure, it could happen then or today or next week for all I know." She laughed nervously.
"I can't wait!" I squealed, I was so darn excited I mean seriously Niall being a dad finally? That I really wanted to see!
"I can. I am not looking forward to the birthing part. I want to meet her but the pain not so much."
"Hey, it's going to be okay. I mean the medicine these days is amazing you will hardly feel a thing." I told her.
"I hope so, you'll be there won't you?" she asked quietly.
"Oh my..Penny I'd love to be there for you! Of course I will be there babe." I felt so honoured that she wanted me there at this important time in her life.
"Thank you, I know that if you're there I will relax more, well I hope so anyway." She giggled and I too began to laugh.
"What's so funny?" Lottie asked sneaking up behind me.
"I don't even know" I told her, taking a peek into the pram. Connor was awake but Nicholas was well asleep. I hated how their sleeping patterns didn't match it really mucked up my sleeping patterns especially since Louis refused to wake up to check on them.
"Penny, you are so lucky you are only having the one." I yawned.
"Why? Does it hurt more with two?"
"No, it mucks up your sleeping habits when the two of them sleep at different times." I groaned, but Lottie being the kind sister she was took Connor in her arms and played with him and his baby toys.
What do you think will happen next?
