K'hliah's POV
"You still going with me to pick up Nala and Nady (Nah-Dee) from the airport?" Rico walked in my room as I had just got out the shower.
"Yea I'm going, come in here real quick though." I told him and he came further in my room.
"Did you tell daddy I was seeing Jordan again?!" I whisper yelled, and I seen him look at me before sucking his teeth.
"No liah even though your not supposed to be talking to her when have I ever been a snitch?! You better ask Quando did he snitch. Your asking the wrong brother." I heard the attitude in his voice and before I could apologize he walked out of my room slamming the door.
Rico is my brother, he's the middle child out of me and Quando but me and him have always had a tighter bond than me and Quando did.
Quando is 24, Rico is 20 and I'm 18 our mom died 2 years after I was born.
Things were never the same with my dad, so Rico took responsibility of me my dad was still there but Rico was the main one providing for me because my dad started doing more selling and killing so Rico made sure I was good while Quando helped my dad and it's been like that ever since.
I got dressed in my black "just do it" shirt and my blue ripped jeans with my white and reddish adidas and I grabbed my white cylinder purse (outfit in the media) and I left out of my room to go find Quando.
"Rico I'm sorry I'm just paranoid, you know how daddy gets about his "only daughter" I just got overwhelmed because I feel like he knows." I say my purse down on the couch next to him and I seen Rico look at me from the corner of his eye before he finished playing call of duty on the flat screen.
"I love you big bro." I smiled sheepishly and he still didn't budge so I walked over in front of the tv.
"K can you please move." He looked everywhere but at me. "When you stop being mad at me." I folded my arms across my chest standing my ground.
He looked up at me and the back at his controller. "I forgive you K." I kicked his leg and he looked up about to fuss before he seen my puppy dog face.
"I forgive you K'hliah damn.. now get out of my face." I laughed a little as well as he did. "Have you seen Quando?!" I asked checking my notifications as I moved out of the way.
"Yea he out with dad doing a job." I seen messages from Jordan and they were still coming in as I was talking.
"Who the fuck is that blowing your phone like dat." He paused his game and tried to grab my phone causing me to roll of the couch.
"Don't worry about it Rico it's nothing." Realizing I wasn't going to give him my phone nor tell him who it was he looked at me one last time before taking his game off of paused.
I walked outside to read the text message and get some fresh air before we went to pick up Nala and Nady my beautiful nieces up from the airport.
Jordan🙄❤️: Why aren't you answering my calls K'hliah.
Jordan🙄❤️: Answer the fucking phone I'm not gonna tell you again.
Jordan🙄❤️: Aight bet bitch you don't wanna answer the phone I got something for that ass.
Jordan🙄❤️: K'hliah Aniyah I stg I'm gonna knock the wind out of your body when I see you.
Jordan🙄❤️: ANSWER THE FUCKING PHONE K'HLIAH😡😡😡
Me: Jordan you have to understand I'm not supposed to even be talking to you, stop fucking threatening me I told you about that. Your lucky my brother didn't take my phone.😒
Jordan🙄❤️: I don't give a fuck about your bitch ass brothers, when I call you you better fucking answer me or I won't go as easy as last time.
Me: Whatever Jordan .. I don't think I can do this anymore. I'm blocking you bye.
I backed into the porch wall next to the door and closed my eyes as I let a couple tears slip.
"Why do I keep letting her back in, Ive gotta stop letting her back in." I whispered to myself and I heard some trees rustling next to me causing my eyes to shoot open as I grabbed my gun aiming it towards the bushes next to me.
"Aye aye ayeeeee chill it's just me." My bestfriend walked out of the bushes with her hands up in surrender.
"Gah damn girl you really are your father's daughter." She laughed as we hugged for a long periodic of time.
She been MIA for 2 weeks.
"Yo where the fuck you been at, niggas been calling you left and right." She rubbed her hands together while she looked at me seductively and I guess she didn't know I realized how she was looking at me because she continued and stop right below my waist.
"Earth to Dom." I snapped my fingers in her face and she snapped out if it licking her lips. "Huh?!" She looked flustered and I rolled my eyes.
"I asked you a question Dom." I sat down on the porch chair and she followed me sitting in the one in front of me.
"What was your question again? My bad I'm high esshit." She laughed a little before she slid her hands down her face and I pulled some weed I copped the other day when I was stressing but never smoked it.
"Walk to the store with me to get some rellos and I'll ask the question again." I stood up she smiled doing the same thing.
"Esshgo dickhead." She wrapped her arm around my waist and laid her head on my shoulder as we walked falling all over the place playfully.
Now I know it sounds weird or it sounds like we're a couple but we aren't these are just the things we do.
We walked to the bar and got some Svdeka, Bacardi for our hotel party we were having later on today after I went to the airport.
Did I mention that my bestfriend is 22? Well yea we met because of Quando taking me somewhere I wasn't supposed to be but he couldn't leave me in the house.
Long story short they had a drive by and a lot of people got hit including Quando so he told me to hide until he came back for me and I did so, the house cleared of people and I thought it was okay to come out...
WRONG! I almost got shot but Dom was there and she killed the bitch who tried to shoot me because she knew I was Quando's little sister and after she saved me she took me home and stayed with me until Quando got back from the hospital.
I don't know how but in he midst of her saving me and us spending time together I started calling her bestfriend and she started calling me bestfriend and now... boom.
"So what was your question." Dom asked as we walked into the supermarket to buy food.
"I said where were you ?! You were MIA for 2 weeks." I grabbed some hotdogs throwing them into the cart.
"Oh.... I had to handle some business with P." I received a text message as I looked back at Dom like she was crazy.
"What the hell is wrong with you Dom, I thought you was done working for him!" I semi yelled as this white couple walked past.
"I thought I was done with him too but some she came up and I couldn't say anything to anyone I just had to up and leave." She said putting her head down and twitched her nose, something she tends to do when she is either lying or hiding something.
I don't have the energy to try and get it out of here either so, I pulled my phone out of my pocket as I was receiving another text message so I just unlocked my phone all together.
"Dom you gotta stop this shit man, he is dangerous. Plus you promised me you was gonna stop... you know I'll tell Rico and Quando and they will end him just lik-." "Stop stop stop K'hliah I don't need you doing any of that shit, keep your mouth closed I'm handling it.
"Hopefully after this last time we'll be done for good." She trailed off at the end before shrugging before throwing a whole bunch of chips into the cart.
I shook my head before finally looking down at my phone screen and seeing some messages from a unknown number, Rico, and Quando. I opened Rico's first.
BigBroR🤞🏽❤️: Where the hell did you go that fast flash?! All I'm saying is you better be back before dad and Quan get here and you better not be with Jordan.
Me: I will I'm on my way back now and I'm with Dom dumbass. 🖕🏽

I'm so tired of her, I'm rey just get a new phone.
"Everything okay baby." I snapped my head in her direction.
"Dom what you just call me ?!" I laughed a little just trying to make sure I heard her right.
"I said is everything okay baby." She arched her eyebrow with her devilish smirk that always makes the girls wet (quote her).
"Domonique don't ever call me anything you call your one night stands." I patted her back before walking ahead of her to grab some stuff for the margaritas we are making.
"Ion call nobody but you that ........baby." She came behind me playfully wrapping her arms around me before laying her head on my shoulder lightly.
"Yoooo I smell zactly." I said scrunching my face up and I felt her lift her head.
"What's zactly?!" She started thinking about it as I continued to hold my face.
"Ooouuu I smell it again!" I said covering my nose.
"What's zactly?! Ion smell nun." She started sniffing the air.
"Your breath smell zactly like yo ass." I blew a raspberry before walking on with the cart leaving her salty.
"Now K why must you play so much." She tackled me lightly into the shelfs.
"Y-yo stoppp bitch o-ohhh my g-gawdddd dommmm!!!" She started tickling me and I was laughing heavily and probably had the whole store concerned.
I must admit I'm very ticklish VERY TICKLISH.
"So this what the fuck we doing now?! THIS WHY YOU CANT ANSWER THE FUCKING PHONE?! CAUSE YOU OUT WITH THIS FAKE ASS STUD BITCH?" Jordan came out of nowhere asking all of these questions.
"Are you serious right now K, I thought you been stopped fucking with this lame ass bitch."
I seen Dom flare her nose, something she also tends to do when she about to flip out of character.
I gotta end this now because I can tell that Dom didn't take her medicine today and Jordan has smart ass mouth so this might not end well.
"I told you the next time you started fucking with dis bitch I was gonna beat ha a new hole in ha fucking face." Dom started cracking her knuckles as Jordan just looked amused my the whole situation.
"Bitch you ain't shit but a fake ass dyke from New York." Jordan laughed and that was that.
Dom launched at Jordan and was beating her face in.
"Dom.... DOMMMMM.... DOMONIQUE FUCKING STOP YOUR GONNA KILL HER!" I pulled her off of Jordan like light weight, I mean after all she is skinny ashit with abs for no reason.
"Dumbass dyke bitch." Jordan coughed up blood.
"OH BITCH YOU WANT SOME MORE ILL SHOW YOU A DUMBASS DYKE BITCH." She tried to break away from my grasp but I wasn't having it, I pinned her to the shelf for a couple of seconds putting all of my weight onto her.
"I'm calm yo.. I'm fuckin calm my nigga get da fuck awf me." She sucked her teeth as her chest raised up and down viciously.
If she wasn't bloodied up and crying I'd say this is the sexiest I've ever seen her.
"Come the fuck on before the cops come." I shook away my thoughts as I heard sirens from afar.
"Let's fucking go Dom." I said as she just stood there looking at Jordan who was trying to get up from the floor.
"Yea lil bitch you better go with her like she said, and K'hliah the next time I fucking call you bitch you better answ-." She got cut off with a kick to her face from Dom.
"The next time I see ha I'm killing ha ass no doubt, fuck the police." She fixed her jacket covering her blood stained shirt as we walked to the front to buy the rest of our stuff like casual people.
"Let's just get our shit and get outta here." I said as we was almost to the front.
"K I think we should wait until all this shit calm down and my car get outta the shop later so we won't have to walk with bags, let's just come back later after you get ya nieces, my daughters from the airport." She pulled me out of the store leaving the cart as we walked back to the house.
The walk back was quiet, not a weird quiet just a quiet that says we both had some stuff on our minds and would probably spill the tea later over a blunt or two.
"FUCK!" I screamed as I seen my Dads car outside right along with Quando's.
"Oop fuck dat mamas I'm scared of ya pops I'll see ya later, text me baby." She kissed my cheek before jogging off in the other direction.
"I told you don't call me that." I yelled after her but she was already gone.
"Welp here goes nothing." I ran my hands down my face as I fixed my clothes. "I told your ass to be back before they got back, dad got some words for you." Rico said smoking on his blunt as I walked onto the porch.
"Shut up, gimme that shit I need it more than you do right now." I took his blunt out of his hand and tried to take a long inhale in hopes of maybe dying.
"Well I've never seen a suicide attempt like this one." He started laughing at me as I coughed and choked while trying to breathe.
"I'll be in the car when you come out Nala and Nady plane will be here in a hour so we got time to stop for something to eat." He got up grabbing his keys to his Lexus before walking past me down the steps.
"Yea if dad doesn't take my head off." I mumbled more to myself then to anybody.
I opened the door and immediately got greeted by Quando. "Wassup lil sisterrrrr!!" He said in the most gayest voice ever, I would've laughed if I wasn't mad at him.
"Look you can hold a grudge forever... after all I didn't even mean to tell him-." I sent him a death glare.
"Nah baby sis for real, I was talking out loud and when I scrolled past a post on Instagram of her saying she still loves you I accidentally screamed her name out loud." He explained but I didn't really care I just wanted to get over this lecture coming my way.
"Uh Huh I hear ya, is that all you wanted to say?!" I yawned before sliding past him to my dad's room.
"You wanted to see me pops." I walked into his room looking at everything in it, I swear everytime I come in his room it's a new theme.
"Take a seat liah." He walked out of his closet and looked at me for a little bit before finally walking towards me.
"You know I love you right." I whispered to myself.
"You know I love you right." I rolled my eyes as he spoke. "I hate to see you like this, the first time she broke your heart I wanted to kill her but for the sake of you I didn't." He took a deep breath before continuing.
"I'm not gonna give you a lecture today." He spoke and my eyes shot open.
"Thank god." I put my hands together looking up at the sky. "But..." I rolled my eyes again.
"I will say if I catch you, if I even get a gut feeling that your texting her or back in contact with her, I will end her and her whole family and I will make you watch." He said with no remorse.
"Do we have a understanding?!" I nodded my head with wide eyes.
I love her family and I loved her once so watching them die would be heartbreaking, I gotta leave her alone.
"Alright not go get my beautiful granddaughters from the airport and tell Dom I need to see her whenever she has a chance." He basically dismissed me.
"What about?" I asked a with a mixture of nervousness and curiosity.
"Mind your business K'hliah, bye." I rolled my eyes and shut his door back. "I'm out." I spoke before grabbing my purse and walking to the door.
"I love you lil sis." Quando yelled and i sent him a middle finger in return.
"I'm ready, let's go." I got in the car and Rico looked at me. "I see you still in one piece." He laughed before started his car.
"Shut up dumbass." I rolled my eyes before pulling my phone out of my pocket seeing a text from Dom.

I looked at his message without responding, I locked my phone and later my head on the window as we merged onto the highway.
"Where you want some food from?!" He looked over to me and I shrugged my shoulders.
"Idk big bro... surprise me." I winked at him and I started dozing off letting sleep take me.
"Liah... LIAH.. KHLIAH!!" "Huhhhh!" I jumped out of my sleep alert as fuck.
"Rico seriously?!" I said looking over to him as he had the dick look on his face. "Whattt were here get out of my car." He unlocked the door and turned the car off.
"Don't be trying to put me out of your car like no hooker dickhead." I slammed his car door looking up at the sign that said "IHOP".
"I said surprise me and this is the best you've got." I looked over at him and he smiled sheepishly. Imma miss this boy when I go to college.
We ate and left to the airport, when we got there Nala, Nady, and their mother were getting off the plane and I seen my babies for the first time in a year.
"Hey aunties babies I missed you I missed youuuuu." I kissed them all over their faces as she giggled loudly flipping and trying to get out of my hold.
"Unc Ric helpppp, mommyyyyyy." They screamed and laughed, causing Rico and their mother to laugh as well.
"So they staying with us right ?!" Rico asked grabbing their bags. "Yea they are all yours until they ready to come back." Their mother smiled and I smiled too.
"Which is never because they love me." I kissed their cheeks all over.
"Yea they'll love you tomorrow more because you leaving them tonight." Jocie looked at me with her eyebrow raised.
"Where you going tonight." I looked over at Rico and sent him the death glare seeing him mouth "sorry" before I looked back over to Jocie.
"Nowhere really I'm just having a little kick back with a couple friends." I forced a smile.
"I'm invited right?!" She laughed walking to the exit with us. "Sure why not, the more the merrier right?!" I laughed rolling my eyes.
I fucking hate Rico and I'm not bringing him no bitches number back from the party. "Great what time?!" She got happy taking her phone out.
"11:30." I lied the party starts at 9:30 but the less she knows the better. It's not that I don't like her, I just don't like her vibe when she gets drunk... you'll see what I'm talking about later.
"Aight bet I'll be there... but I got some shit to do real quick I'll catch up with y'all later?" We nodded out head in sync.
"Bye mommies babies I love you, be good for you uncle and aunt I'll be back later." She kissed the both of them before getting into a white charger that pulled up.
"I should beat the Sugar Honey Ice Tea outta you.
Why would you tell her." I rolled my eyes and seen a girl trying to catch a taxi in the corner of my eye but it looked like she was having a hard time.
Must not be from here, I watched her failed attempts for 2 minutes straight before deciding to help her, I whistled catching one of the taxi's attention that was about to pass us but I would've shot his back tires out if he kept driving.
"Excuse me, if you want you can have this one I seen you struggling." I laughed a little and I seen her put on a sincere face, she's actually really cute I must say.
"Thank you so much I really appreciate it." I felt Rico burning holes into the back on my head but he'll be aight.
"No problem." I smiled and I realized I must've looked mean by my hood being on and Nady on my waist.
The car pulled off and I caught myself watching it as it disappear with her in it, we ended up getting in the one behind it and going straight home to get the twins settled in.
"Fuck you a Good Samaritan now?!" Rico laughed and I mugged him.
"Shut up dickhead she probably wasn't from here and you seen how none of those taxis was stopping." We started unpacking their stuff and putting in the closet and drawers while they played with my dad.
It took us like 30 minutes to finish and by then it was 8:30 enough time for me to get dressed and leave out with Dom who is never on time. "You see that?!" Rico asked and me and Quando looked up.
I was now outside waiting patiently on Dom because it was now 8:49I had already had my stuff together and I took a quick shower.
"Rico and Q don't." I said they are always messing with somebody, there was somebody standing at the end of our block looking lost with two bags, one with a dog in it.
"Fuck that Rico let's go." Quando said and they dapped before jogging down there a little bit.
"AHHHHH MY GODDDDDD HELPPPPP!!!!" She was trying to feed a rat, I was so dead I couldn't even run to stop them.
"Guyssss stoppp!! Leave her alone." I screamed a little taking my heels off to run after them. When I got down there they had her and her dog on the floor.
"Leave her the fuck alone." I pushed them away and they laughed and walked away and she looked so frightened I felt bad but I let a laugh slip out.
"I'm sorry about my brothers they are reckless." I picked her bag and her dog up as she picked herself up from the floor.
"It's fine I guess." She looked up and I looked at her face. Her....
"You-." "You." The girl from the airport.......
