Nakama- Friend/Comrade
Lucy's POV
Lisanna's fist inched closer, and the only thing I could do is stay still, and be frightened.
"Stop!!"
I closed my eyes before the fist hit, all I could hear afterwards was THUD!
I couldn't feel it. I couldn't feel the punch. Did Lisanna punch me out cold?
"Open your eyes, Lu-chan!!" I heard Levy wail behind me. I removed my palms from my eyes, and I saw another hand in front of me, which Lisanna's fist jabbed into it.
"C-Cana!!" I scream out of suprise, though grateful that she stepped in.
"D-don't you dare! I won't let you hurt any more of my nakama!!" She cried, trying to push away Lisanna's bolting fist. "I'll cut you with my card if you go any further!!"
"Lisanna!" A stern, low voice called from behind Lisanna. His hands pulled her away from Cana, and he moved in front of her, arms spread wide to protect her. That's when I got the clear view of him.
Natsu.
How could he? I knew he was standing there the entire time, and he did nothing but watch as Lisanna bullied around Cana, knocked out Juvia by kick her stomach, and deliberately tried beating me up my punching me in the face! I thought Natsu was my friend! I thought he was going to stay close because he didn't want to see me be hurt.
That jerk.
"Cana, stay away from us." Natsu demanded, glaring right into Cana's dull and narrowed eyes.
"YOU'RE THE ONE WHO SHOULD STAY AWAY FROM US!!!" I screamed, only making eye contact with Natsu, clenching my fist, and narrowing my eyes.
His expression dropped and his eyes softened while he looked at me,"Lucy..." He whimpered under his breath.
"YOU'RE THE ONE WHOSE GIRLFRIEND TRIED TO KILL US, JUST BECAUSE WE WERE SITTING HERE, AND YOUR CALLING US THE THREAT?!" I justified, standing up and inching closer to his face. "Not to mention, you're nothing but a liar."
"Lu-chan is right!!" Juvia confirmed, her voice weak.
"Juvia, we need to get you to the nurse." Cana pleaded, hold up her hand.
"Lucy, I'm not a li-" he protested, but before he could say anything else I slapped my hand onto his mouth.
"Save it for when it's true." I walked off, leaving him and Lisanna behind us. I could only hear the muttering swears that came out of Lisanna's mouth. The only thing that worries me is why she could get so worked up on a tiny thing like that.
"Cana, hold up Juvia's left side," Levy suggested while holing up Juvia's right side. We're gonna take her to the nurse, because I have a feeling there's a shoe print marked of her stomach.

Natsu's POV
Dammit!! Why was I so careless. I only stood up for Lisanna, although she really didn't need it. Why couldn't I move and help Lucy, I felt like my body was restrained, my mind thought she'd be fine. Not only that but all of the classes after that incident, Lucy was getting teased, scoffed at, and this time I couldn't help, because she wouldn't let me. She'd slap me away, she'd kick my foot everytime I tried to say anything, I've never felt so useless to one of my friends.
I shoved my hands into my pockets as Gray walked beside me. "So what's this all about?" He groaned, glaring at the sky.
"I don't feel comfortable apologizing alone," I admitted, felling heat gathering to my cheeks.
"The chick doesn't even know me." He pointed out, smirking at the thought of victory.
"I'll introduce you, Ice Brain." I opened the door to the Girls' Dorm and swooped behind it. "Ladies first."
"Oh so I'm a girl now?!" He said sounding ticked off.
"Hello Nastu-san, Gray-san," Mirajane greeted at the front desk. "Visiting Lisanna? I'll call her right now."
"No." I denied, "We're visiting Lucy."
"Really? That's a first. Well, I'll call her. She's in room 6258, top floor." Mirajane mentions, pointing to the ceiling.
"Alright. Thanks, Mirajane-sensei." Me and Gray walk casually into the elevator, I press the buttons as the door closes.
"Dude, isn't #6258 the resort room?" He yells as he shakes me back and forth.
"I guess, why are you so worked up about it?"
"Who is this girl?! Didn't you say she's from Eastern Magnolia or something? Isn't it poor there?" His hands cover the sides of his head as if he has a headache, his expression looking crazy or unhealthy.
"Who cares." I shrugged, walking out of the elevator. I calm myself down by breathing in and out slowly. "This is it.." I affirm as I lift my hand up to knock on Lucy's door.
"What do you want." The voice said muffled as the door swung open.
"Lucy!" I hollered, my voice intoned. I jumped at a shock of Lucy's appearance..
She held a pillow in her arms hugging it. The edge of the pillow covers her mouth with explained why her voice sounded so muffled. She holds a box of tissues in one of her hands.
Below her eyes are dark and noticeable eyes bags. Her eyes themselves are bloodshot, and it's clearly shown that she has been crying since there are moist tears that trace back to her eye sockets.
"Natsu-san and" she points to Gray, her expression confused, "Raven Hair.. -san, get away from here."
"Lucy understand me." I say as I grab ahold of her wrist.
"What's the use of listening to you?! I'm just going to be lied to again." She implied, her cheek becoming more moist from tears.
"Gray, back me up." I turn toward him and nod.
"Well he's sorry because he loves you." He smirks, holding his hands into a heart.
"B*#%H!! It's not like that!!!" I kick him in the stomach, the impact throws him into the elavator and I push random buttons and close the door before he could get back up again.
"I answer my question, Natsu-san. Why should I listen to you." She hissed, crossing her arms over her pillow.
"Can we just go inside your room to talk about this? I don't really feel comfortable talking in an open hallway." I ask, playing with my fingers out of embarrassment.
Lucy sighed. "Fine.." She moved out of the door frame to welcome me inside. The first thing I do is jump onto her GIANT bed and land onto my back.
"Hey!!" I never said you could lie there!!" She scolds, slapping me like a baby.
"Wellllll you're joining me onto here." I say plainly, grabbing her arms and pulling her into the bed with me.
"Hey! What's your plan here, Natsu-san?" She shrieks, attempting to run off, but I still hold onto both of her arms, keeping her in place.
"Psh, I'm only a High School Student, it's not like I'm going to touch you." I grumble. "And whatever happened to calling me Natsu-sama?"
She cocks her eyebrow and clicks her tongue. "I don't highly respect you anymore, Natsu-SAN." She explained, putting emphasis on -san.
"Ok, now you can listen to me, Lucy." I began. "The reason I couldn't stop Lisanna for you was because I can't stand up to Lisanna. I've seen cases where she bullies as well, I can never stop her."
"Is it because you love her too much?.." Lucy mumbles quietly, as if she's embarrassed to say it.
"No." I said plainly, although it's the truth. "Lucy, I don't love Lisanna."
"Then why does she hug you, hold your hand, give you so much affection?" Lucy protested, fear evident in her voice.
"We've known each other since grade school." I acknowledged, "I guess she thinks it's ok, but I don't really. I always pull away from her as fast as I can." I admit.
"Does she like you?" She asks, again, quiet enough for her to sound embarrassed.
"Maybe." I answered, "If she does, then those are feelings I can't return."
For a solid 10 seconds, there is complete silence between us. Crap, did I just make things awkward?
"Natsu-san." She finally says, breaking the silence.
"Yes, Lucy?"
"Why are you so nice to me? I mean, I'm the new girl, and you're the only friend I have in our class." Lucy inquired, "I want the truth."
I sighed. "Ok, Lucy. I'm nice to you for two reasons.." I hesitated before I told her my reasons. But at the end, I told her the truth. "I didn't think you deserved the hate."
"The second reason?" She quavered.
"Because you look like a girl I met 10 years ago."
More silence filled the room.
Lucy's POV

I was fangirling over this, which is bad, because I wrote this. Like what the actual duck.
