I land swiftly on my feet. There was a sharp pain, "Damn... Didn't think that one through" I regained my posture and started walking. I took a deep breath, put my headphones in and listened to my playlist on Spotify, starting with Raise Hell by Dorothy. I walked through the woods, enjoying the silence and the view. The atmosphere was nice and calm.
As I walked through the woods I heard a rustle in the bushes. I continued to walk, not alerting the cause of the noise. The rustle got louder as if it were closer this time. I bent down towards my right boot and grabbed a dagger from there, I turned around quickly and got into position.
The rustling finally stopped and out came a black silhouette. I peered my eyes and prepared myself to fight, "Who goes there?!" I asked,
"Relax. It's me." A calm voice said from behind me.
I quickly turned around, "Akatsuki"
He nodded, "That's me"
"What are you doing here?" I asked,
"Not much," he replied "Just walking around, clearing my head."
I nodded, "Understandable."
He shrugged, "What about you?"
I sighed, "Looking for some peace and quiet, the ruckus your friends caused aren't very well... for a lack of a better word, peaceful."
He nodded again, "I heard about that."
He never really was a talker. That's what I liked about him, words meant nothing to him.
"I just... I don't know. It's a lot of pressure" I let out a sigh, "I guess I just don't want to ruin our friendship"
He nodded again.
"And I.." I took a deep breath before continuing, "I guess, deep down, I know this is just because I am a BlueBlood. If I were human, you wouldn't even look at me"
He shook his head, "Nonsense! I know for sure that I would look at you. To tell you the truth, you're just my type" He gave me a shy smile.
I let out a soft chuckle,
"Nice try dude, but really... If I weren't a damn BlueBlood, none of this would've ever happened!"
He looks at the ground and lets out a sad sigh, "(Y/N), you need to start accepting the way things are. If not for you being a BlueBlood, you would've never met us. Yes, some may be after you for your rank but there are many who aren't. Try to stay around them, those are the ones you can truly trust."
I chuckle again, "I suppose you're right. Thank you" I smile at him and I notice a small blush on his cheeks, I chuckle once more. He's adorable. Then suddenly I feel something warm in my chest, I haven't felt it since I started dating Zero. Do I... have a crush on Akatsuki?
"I... I'm sorry but I have to go" I say to him before running off to my dorm room. For crying out loud (Y/N)! Akatsuki? Ugh! I mean... he's always been the nicest one and I really appreciate how supportive and kind he is... how I can let my guard down around him and I love how whenever I'm around him, all my worries disappear.
"Oh dear god... I'm so cheesy... I don't like it one bit..."
I shake my head, "I need a change of scenery..."
I take a good look in the mirror and fix my hair. I noticed that the chain on my necklace was crooked so I fixed that as well. After fixing it I head out the door. Before leaving I take a look back at my dorm and take a deep breath before turning around and leaving.
My mind was blank, I didn't want to think. My expression was plain and sort of grim, I was determined in finally getting some peace.

I stop in front of the headmaster's office and gently knock three times before walking in, "Headmaster I'm truly sorry for interrup- Kaname?"
Oh great, another vampire I didn't want to face...
"Can I help you?" Headmaster asked in his flirty voice as usual,
"Ah I uh... I was just coming to inform you that I'm taking a temporary leave.. I need to regain myself. The vampire hunter association gave me an offer that I couldn't refuse either, so... I hope that is not a problem?"
I glanced at Kaname through the corner of my eye, It was obvious. His eyes said it all. He was hurt.
Headmaster's eyes widened at my words but they quickly relaxed as he flashed me a wicked grin, "VHA, huh?" He asked.
I nodded confidently, "Yes sir, and there is nothing you can do to stop me from leaving, I'm sorry but I must do this..."
He nodded in understanding, "Do not worry, my child. I fully support your decision. How long will you be gone?"
I shrug, "Not sure but I know I will be gone for a long time... I will be gone for at least three months"
Headmaster's grin only widened, "Interesting... and they are aware of your situation, right?"
I nod, "Yes sir, they are aware that I am a Blueblood, that is one of the main reasons they recruited me"
His grin fades and changes into a genuine smile, "Very well, I wish you all the best on your journey... But do keep in mind you will be missed"
I sigh, "Thank you headmaster... If the guys ask about me or my whereabouts... please refrain from telling them, I do not need them to follow me..."
He nods in understanding, "Of course-"
Kaname cut him off, "You're not going to say goodbye?"
I shake my head, "Afraid not.. if I do you're only going to try and talk me out of it and I do not need that"
He sighs, "Very well... Can I at least hug you goodbye?"
I shake my head, "I think it is for the best if you don't... It is only gonna hurt more"
His expression saddened but he tried his best to hide it, he was failing miserably, "Very well, I respect that"
I nodded, said my goodbyes and walked back to my dorm. I dug into my closet to find my backpack. I looked under my bed and took out all my weapons. I then went to my dresser and packed all my accessories, jewelries and my hairbrush. I went into the bathroom and took everything from there and put it in the bag. Finally I went back into the closet to get my clothes, I left my uniform though. I don't want to bring unnecessary memories with me. After finishing packing, I slung the backpack over my shoulder and headed out once again and for the final time... I left my dorm.

I walked outside with confidence, I walked like there was no tomorrow. When I finally reached the gate I turned back, smiled at the school, and continued to walk away.
