Anxiety

Stomach turning,
Thoughts raging,
Throat closing.
You can't breathe.
At least, not when this shadow casts over you.
When your alone.
Alone in a world of your own making.
You try and shut your insecurities away,
You try and push your feelings down.
In hope that they will just disappear.
But your always reminded.
Reminded of your flaws, and everything you did wrong.
Because everything is your fault in the world you call your mind.
Everything you did was wrong,
Everything you said,
Everything you thought in the past
They say time will forgive and time will forget.
But no one will forget,
Let alone forgive.
No one will live it down.
At least this is what your brain keeps telling you, you shouldn't be able to breathe over
What your brain uses as a power against yourself,
And allows you to get lost in this life of pain and anxiety...
