(H/l) (h/c) hair swayed with the wind as (l/n) (f/n) waited near a bus stop. Kuroko Tetsuya had asked her out on a date a few days ago and there she was, waiting for him to appear. She played with a few strands of her hair using her dominant hand while holding a purse on the other. The girl is quite excited, not only because it's her first time on a date, but because of the fact that she would be going out with the person she really likes.

"Sorry for making you wait." A familiar monotone voice spoke out of nowhere, making the female jump in surprise. She turned around to see where the voice came from and sure enough it was Kuroko Tetsuya with his usual blank expression.

"N-no, no. It's fine." The (h/c) haired girl replied, smiling.

Then, as if on cue, the bus heading to their destination has arrived. Kuroko held (f/n)'s hand as they boarded the vehicle.

"Shall we get going then?"

(L/n) (f/n) came from a family of magicians. Naturally, she would be interested in magic and other illusions given that she grew up seeing them. No wonder she likes the blue-haired basketball player. She finds his lack of presence intriguing and his skills interesting as if he is a magician on the court himself. Not to mention his amazing baby blue eyes and his calm but blunt attitude. (f/n) would often find herself giggling whenever Kagami, the team's ace, gets pissed at Kuroko's bluntness.

Kuroko knew (f/n)'s interests, not only because he's a friend of hers since middle school, but because the girl would usually cheer up the people around her through her magic tricks. He would feel himself smile as she executes her latest trick in front of the tams. At some points he would figure out how the trick is done because of his observation skills, but it didn't matter much to him. The real magic for him is in how (f/n) makes his heart flutter through her smiles and laughter.

So there they are, standing in front of a newly opened restaurant as the bus they had ridden a few minutes ago continued on its journey. The main reason Kuroko had chosen the place was because of the live show it usually hosts. He scheduled their date on that day to watch a magic show and have dinner at the same time. (F/n) knew about this, which made her feel glad because of the thought that Kuroko really considers her opinions.

"Looks fancy." (F/n) said while gazing at the restaurant's elegant structure. "Ne, Kuroko-kun, how'd you know about this place?" The female asked, turning her head to face the blue haired teen.

"Akashi-kun mentioned this place the last time I spoke with him," he replied. "And (f/n)-chan, didn't I told you to call me by my first name?"

Feeling a bit embarrassed. (f/n) tucked a few strands of her hair behind her ear as she looked down to the ground. "S-sorry 'bout that. Then, T-Tetsuya-kun would be fine, r-right?" she said nervously while feeling her face heat up.

Kuroko held (f/n)'s hand once again, this time intertwining his fingers with hers. He brought up their hands and kissed the back of the girl's hand, regaining her attention. He then gave her a warm smile and a soft look in his eyes as he replied, "Yes." Kuroko could notice how the (e/c) eyed girl's cheeks became tinted with pink.

"I already reserved us a table, (f/n)-chan," Kuroko continued. "We should hurry along now. The show's about to start." He began pulling the still flustered female towards the restaurant.

As the couple entered the vicinity, (f/n) noticed a familiar man inside. She excused herself from Kuroko saying she has to go to the restroom and told him to wait for her at their table. Kuroko simply nodded and pointed their table which is quite near the stage.

~~~~~~~~ Timeskip brought to you by the mysterious man. ~~~~~~~
"Ladies and Gentlemen! Prepare to be amazed through the magic and illusions brought to us by our guest for tonight, Magic Clover!"
The light turned dim and the spotlights were focused to the front. The crowd clapped their hands as a tall, masculine man walked up the wooden stage. He wore a black tux and a black mask with gold accents which covered half of his face. The man stood with so much confidence at the stage, greeting the whole audience and surprising them with his first trick.
The show continued while Kuroko and (f/n) ate their meal. The masked magician would crack jokes every now and then and the audience would laugh or giggle as a response. (f/n) finds the show amusing. Kuroko, on the other hand, watches (f/n) more than the gentleman on stage. The way her (e/c) eyes sparkle with amazement and her cheery voice talks to him about her comments on the show makes him feel happy inside, though it didn't show much on his face.
Moments passed by and it's time for the magician's last trick. "For the final act I would like to have a volunteer from the audience," the magician announced, gesturing his hand towards the crowd.
(f/n)'s hand immediately shot up in the air, raising it for the gentleman in the front to see. She wore an excited childish smirk on her face. Kuroko was a bit surprised by this but he thought shouldn't be, considering how much she love magic.
"Yes, the enthusiastic young lady raising her hand, please proceed to the stage." Kuroko noticed a familiar pair of (e/c) eyes as the magician glanced at their location. (f/n) stood up grinning as she walked to the stage. Some of the magician's assistants began bringing a huge, black, hollow case, which nearly resembles a coffin. As soon as the crowd saw this, a few began whispering while the others wore a worried expression in their faces.
"Ah, don't worry everyone. We won't be sending our little guest here to the afterlife," the magician gave the audience a reassuring smile. The audience giggled a bit, the dense atmosphere slowly disappearing.
"Step right this way, ma'am." The magician helped the (h/c) haired girl walk into the black, coffin-like case. As soon as (f/n) was inside, the magician closed the glass cover. The girl has a curious look in her face as she inspected the interior of the case. Kuroko, on the other hand, is still sitting at their table filled with concern. Sure, he has seen some tricks like those before but this one's different since a person he knows is involved as the guinea pig, as the volunteer who knows nothing about what's going to happen next. He couldn't shake off his worry that came from not knowing what will happen to the girl he loves. Would the magician start piercing the case while (f/n) is inside? Or would he slice the case in half? Kuroko's heart began to beat faster because of anxiety... and fear.
The magician only gave a simple instruction. "Everyone," he called out. "I would like you all to countdown with me, starting from five."
Five. The magician shouted.
Four. The audience in the front started.
Three. Soon everybody chanted.
...
POOF!
Everyone was shocked to see the interior of the case suddenly filled with smoke. The masked magician hurriedly opened the glass door; the smoke started to spread out, making a few cough. Surprise was evident on the gentleman's face, and so was in Kuroko's. Both probably assumed that something went wrong, since things like that only happen after the countdown drops at one.
THUD.
The sound of a body collapsing on the wooden floor was heard. Kuroko badly wants to rush to the stage now. "Is she okay?" he thought. He stood up and started walking to the stage but apparently was stopped because of one of the magician's assistants who persuades the blue-haired teen to return to his seat. That was, until the smoke clears out, revealing a female figure lying on the floor.
The crowd gasped at the scene. Kuroko would've ran to the stage by then, using his misdirection on the assistant or something; if only he did not notice the different hairstyle and dress of the figure.
The masked magician helped the figure stand up, though it looks more like he lifted the figure up, revealing its true identity: a human-sized female doll. Murmurs and whispers began to fill the air.
"Eh~ that doesn't even look anything like me! ~ "
A feminine voice shouted from the other end of the room. Kuroko knew that sweet, cheery voice anywhere.
The magician chuckled. "Sorry but I didn't had much time preparing that," he replied while taking off his mask.
"Ladies and Gentlemen, my daughter (l/n) (f/n)!" the magician proudly introduced.
The show ended with the crowd erupting to a huge round of applause.
Extended Ending:
Kuroko and (f/n) walked home, after riding a bus back to where they started. It was already night by then, that's why Kuroko insisted on escorting the young female magician home since her father stayed back at the restaurant to pack up and talk to the manager.
(f/n) was all smiles when she asked, "Did you enjoy the show Kuro- ah, I mean, Tetsuya-kun?" The female glanced at her companion. "Yes," was the only reply she heard from the male.
The (h/c) haired female sighed then pouted, not contented with the male's answer. She asked again, but with a different question: "Did you not like my surprise, Tetsuya-kun?"
Kuroko was taken aback by the question so he stopped walking. "It's not like that (f/n)-chan. I was pretty amazed actually..." The girl also stopped her tracks as she looked at the blue-haired teen. "...though I would prefer not being left out like that."
"Worried much?" (f/n) teased smiling again while tilting her head to the side. Kuroko nodded, still wearing his blank expression. The girl only giggled and said, "Then will this make up for it?"
The female magician clasped her hands and stretched them out to the male's direction. She then turned her hands horizontally and opened them, revealing a regular-sized vanilla shake in her hands.
Kuroko took the drink and said, "I was expecting a kiss."
(f/n) blushed hard at his statement.
"But I guess it will do," he continued, giving the girl a gentle kiss on the cheek. "Thank you."
