Teenage Errors

"Dara, Dara" shouted Emily Lynn Dara's stepmother of three years, "get your lazy ass out of the damn bed and go exercise, do I have to tell u this every morning, no wonder u look like a pig" Emily spat viciously.
Dara blinked her eyes repeatedly to prevent from crying, she was use to the constant verbal and occasional physical abuse from Emily. Emily was good at pretending especially when William Dara's dad was around,William adored his wife and even though he loved his only child dearly he would go to hell and back for his wife and she used that knowledge to her utmost advantage, she created arguments between father and daughter as often as possible. "Am tired Emily,plus I have an early morning class at school"
"U and the damn excuses u better get off the damn bed" and with a shove Emily pushed Dara causing her to fall hitting her elbow on the wall,Dara cried out in pain, Emily simply hissed her teeth and left the room her high heels clicking on the tiles, even in all her pain Dara wondered which Looney toon actually wore heels with sweats at 5 am but she knew she wouldn't dare ask Emily that question, she got up brushed her teeth then stood looking in the mirror at her features, she had grey eyes which slanted slightly showing her Asian heritage, her mom had been an intern at her dads research centre,who had gotten pregnant then given her to her dad at birth and disappearing without a trace,she had full lips and light colored skin which showed her African American side,at age fourteen she had larger breast than girls her age and had broad hips with a larger derriere, she hated her body,her love handles caused her to only wear large hoodies over her private school uniform,thanks to her Asian heritage she had long hair with tight curls,in essence she was a beautiful teenager.
She sighed and dragged on her jogging sweats,grabbed a bottle of water from the pantry and prepared to do her thirty minute run......in reality she actually walked ,but then no one needed to know this.
