The two humans that stood before, me weren't actually humans. Instead their skins were very pale and wore clothing that you could consider to be retro and outdated. It was all that I could remember getting before a bad bite tot the neck.
“This is just to make sure that nothing happens to you.” he whispered to in my ear after biting into my neck.
“It’s nice to meet such a lovely lady”, said the male. “My sister and I have been dying to meet you”
He looked very slim for one who is so tall. His hair was all messed up and covering a portion of his smoking blue eyes. Although he looked like a student, wearing a grey and blue neck scar plus a black cardigan, pants, and converse, he looked very neat.
“The pleasure is all mine Lady Asuki.”, the girl kneeled down on one knee to show her gratitude.
Her outfit was similar to her brothers, however her hair was held together in a neat bun with a small bow on the side. Her shoes were flats with tiny baby cute pandas smiling at the end.
“Please allow my servants to take your coats.” With that said two little boys came out from beneath the floor and took their jackets.
“We’re about to have breakfast”, said Zyler with a teasing smile.
“Follow me.”, he guided the two down the right wing of the mansion until they weren’t in sight. He left me standing there alone.
“My neck is throbbing with pain, that bastard!” I cried out loud but silently covering my mouth hoping that he didn’t hear.
I looked around the huge room. Such perfect interior modern designs, all of them were somewhat up to date. The roof was in the shape of a huge dome filled with golden swirls and arches holding in their tiny circular buds. At the very tip of their rims were marbled grey porcelain leaves. A true breathe of beauty.
“Such great artistic vision.” which had to be the only thing I saw that currently had life.
“Ms. Asuki, you must join the master and his guests, he is waiting for you!” cried Leora as she raced towards me while trying to keep a hold of her gown. Eventually her constant running came to a haul once she collapsed from being out of breath. But she came through.
“But I am not hungry”, I reasoned as she slowed down to catch her breath. Her face was so pink that she looked like a French pug struggling to get up.
“I know, but can you please do this favor for me?” she went down on her knees and begged for answer. With every kiss she gave me, a weird squeaky sound came out of her ass.
“Fine”, I say in defeat, “I will come.”
“Good!” the next thing I knew was that we were back in the dining hall. The whole place looked the same from yesterday. But I do not remember portraits hanging on the wall, especially ones that had resembled me.
“Ah, there she is.”, said the female as she offered me a cheerful smile.
“Please take a seat here”, Zyler pointed to the empty chair next to him at the head of the table.
“Should I?” I whispered down to her.
“You better.” Leora offered me a rough shove to get my sleeping legs a move on. I held my head up high and began to make my way over to her.
“Look at you, inviting these nice people to such a demises and fraud gathering just so you can lie in front of their faces.”, is what I wanted to say, then I thought long and hard about the collar.
Zyler stood out of his chair, only to pull mines out and ram it hard into the backside of my knees.
“Oops, I am sorry honey.” He snickered with a terrible grin.
“Oh how foolish of me not to let your wife not know about who we are. My lady I am Dario Stone, first born of Senka Tala. This is my sister Neoma, the last and youngest of the Stone blood line.” he smiled at her.
“Such lovely names Sir Dario and Lady Neoma”, I rose up from my seat to do a small courtesy.
“My dear young lady you don’t have to do that.”
A red flush rose in my cheeks. I could feel his eyes on me. Those huge gorgeous eyes looked like two blue moons that I could just jump straight into,
“My lords, breakfast is ready.”
“Good, serve our guest with our finest platters.”
“Indeed sir.” she ran off into the mist.
“Now Zyler you must have a valid reason for summoning us on a day like this. Do you not know it was the day of my people remembering those who have departed from us into Algera? “, said Neoma
“We have plenty to discuss in, most cases, and the matter of the upcoming event we have set out for my wife.”
“You do not mean the special rituals?”
“Yes, I have waited for too long to find another.” he looked into my direction only to stare at me as he pinches my chin.
“Far too long.” He leaned in a bit close as if he wanted to kiss me. Gradually he was interrupted by the servants.
“Masters and mistresses I present to you a delightful fresh clean meal.”
I for one was glad that it stopped him and the food looked and smelled delicious.
“Madame Leora, kindly tell me what we are having today? “I hesitated to ask as my taste bud began to twist up and become bitter.
Everyone turned their attention to me with blank stares.
“Lord Zyler is your wife always this eager to eat?” asked Neoma with curiosity.
I could tell that he was embarrassed. The senseless response said it all in his face.
“I believe that she is parsed from not having her morning vitamins. Let us eat and we could get to know you two a little better.” said Dario
“Yes.”
(A few minutes later)
After breakfast was over, the Stone duo became very interested about me and Master Zyler.
“Asuki, where do you get you gowns from, they are most indeed lovely. How come we haven't seen you in the castle until now? What do you do for a living in this gigantic manor?” and their mouths continued to ravel on.
“Neoma it is best for you not to ask my wife so many details and questions it seems a little bit inhumane.” he mentioned based on how irritated he was soon starting to get.
“Fine.”, she slumped down in her seat. All remained silent until it was broken.
“Zyler we cannot stay for long, our father has requested a summoning for us. We must do this again some other time.” Dario started to get impatient as if he didn't want to enjoy the visit.
“Indeed we must, come now I shall have the steward escort you to the doors.”
“Leora come at once!”, he shouted and she came all covered in some grease and some sort of sauce.
“Yes Master Zyler?”, she replied in a huff.
“Please show our guest the way out.”
“Yes master.”, she did what she was told and left.
“Follow me,” the two rose and said their salutations and left, leaving me alone with him.
“You did well my little flower, yet I wish you hadn't spoke out of place.” he cocked his head towards my path staring at me scowled.
I had the feeling that I was in it again. I rose up out my seat as he continued to speak to me. Sadly. This was my downfall error.
“Where do you think your heading off to?”, he asked as he walked up to me with arms crossed.
“I have had enough of you!” I turned back and yelled at him.
“Excuse me?” I knew that I had strucked a nerve of his.
“You heard me loud and clear, I am leaving this sick place!” I took hold off the collar and ripped it off my neck. It hurted so badly now but at least it was worth it. He stood there motionless as if he didn't care. I thought that I had finally gotten what I had longed for so long but there was a downfall to my mistake.
“You will regret that.”, and with that the whole room had gotten icy cold and dark.
“I can’t see and it’s too cold.” I cried out as I stood there trembling.
“Lesson No. 3: the pet shall not leave without the master or back talk to them out of their place.”
Everything began to spin out of control. Tables began smashing against the wall; cutlery began melting onto the floor into a puddle. The hanging portraits began to scream loud as possible as their jaws expanded to the size of watermelons just aging.
“Stop this please!” I collapsed to the floor and curled myself into a tight ball.
“Have you learned well?” he approached me as if everything is peachy.
“Yes! Yes! Yes!” I pleaded between each teat that fell down my face.
“Good.”
In a blink of the eye, everything went back to normal. The table was set, the portraits were normal, and the room went back to normal. But I didn’t.
Zyler crouched down beside me only to pick up my head to look at it.
“Your mascara is running, I advise you to go upstairs and freshen up,” I nodded and did so.
“One more thing, your little buff friend wants to play with you tonight. You two better put on a good show, if I hear anything bad that goes on down there, you’re going to see a worse fate.” He smiled wickedly and guided me to the staircase.
“Meet me in the living room when you are done.”
“Okay”, I ran up the stairs as fast as I could looking for my bedroom.
“What is going on here?” I though hard to myself as I continuously searched for my room.
After I had arrived, I slammed the door shut and locked it good and tight. My hands were burning as well as my face. I can’t hold these tears back no more. I found my bed all neatly settled out for me. I ran to it and head dived into the pillows to let my pain out.
“Why, why must it be me?” I sniffled and tried to seek a valid answer. Not even a single hint or clue came to me.”
A few hours had passed until I heard a knocking at my door.
“Lady Asuki, it’s time for lunch.”
“I’m no longer hungry for I will not eat with a hellish tyrant.”
“But mistress,”
“I said no!” I yelled at the door. It was then that Leora no longer asked.
“Okay.” and she left.
I rose up out of my bed to close the blinds until my eye had caught something in the window cracks. It was a black envelope. I reached out to grab a hold of it, but it was blown away towards a tree that had no leaves and stood there bare. The poor thing looked lifeless like a cat no longer meowing for help.
“I wonder what it could say, I must figure that out that note.” I thought to myself.
“But still I cannot go out like this.” I dashed to the wardrobe looking for something dark and not too frilly. The closet thing that I could find was a short long sleeve Victorian dress, a bonnet, and a pair of black knee high boots.
“These will do perfectly.” But there was thing that I forgot, my so-called Master Zyler.
“What would he do to me if he found out that I left? Would he punish just like this morning or worst”, just the thought about it made me scarred. Still I cannot think about this now, there was must be a clue behind what he was talking about.
“I will not let this stand in my way.” I changed out of the outfit as fast as I could. It was at least a size too big for me, but in the meanwhile would do just fine. I looked around the room in search of small liquor shot glass. Luckily there was an empty on sitting on my tray that Leora had brought up. I picked it up and listened out for any voices or footstep. Not a single one of them to be found.
“Time to fly like a bird.” I slowly opened the door, looking left and right, still no one was there. One thing I can truly thank is the fact that the skies were grey.
“I must hurry before the rain comes.” I dodged, crouched, and hid away from the portraits. It would appear that their eyes seemed to move like they are some sort of security scanners.
“Creepy.”
Once outside, I saw all the leaves on the ground thinking that fall had arrived.
“How come they look so dead today if only yesterday they looked like they were filled with life.” It thought about this as I walked the dead leaves path.
Searching high and low for the envelope was like searching for a needle in a hay stack. There had to be at least 30 arches worth of land filled with dying trees. Every turn that I made caused me to feel nauseas.
“Go back”, cried a soft voice.
“Who’s there?”
“Go back.”
“Who’s there?!”
“You’re trespassing into my home.”
“I just came here to grab a note.” I replied
“Find it and leave. Never come back at all.” it whispered against the wind
“I won’t gladly come back, I promise.” The deeper I went into the forest, the more curious I gotten.
“If this is some sort of forest, then where are all the little animals and streams of gushing waters?” I questioned. It looked like one day this place was filled with life and the next it was dying. I finally found the tree at last. It was indeed tall and very large.
“Wow, this has to be the world’s biggest tree!” I searched around its branches looking for anything out of the picture, it was then that luck had struck me good. The piece of paper was hanging onto a very smaller branch and just dangling in the cold breeze.
“There it is.” I ran as fast I could to get until my foot kicked something really hard thus tossing me off my course.
“Ouch” was all I could ever cry out since it really did hurt. However, it didn’t rupture or break any bones. I removed my boot to examine my foot in case there was any damage done to it. Turn out, there was a small, non-prodding bruise the size of raisin.
“Fuck it I shall deal with it later.” I placed my shoe back on and limped forward and snatched it off the tree. It was enclosed with a forest green seal with the shape of a viper as its symbol.
“Who could this be from?”, I tore the piece open and took out an invitation and two documented letters.
“Place Angel’s Cove, Time: 8:00p.m. (Not a second later)”
“Angel Cove, where’s that?” I was clueless; hardly even know where I am still. Unfortunately, the note made the idea harder to understand than ever. Luckily I managed to make it out:
“My dearest friend, we cannot be apart like this forever. He already knows about us yet I think he will come after me. The darken moon is approaching you must leave a trail of letters somewhere around this place. Do not let him become aware of you. We shall be reunited once again.”
-K.B.
“Who’s K.B.?” I looked left and right and saw one bed a red robin bustling into its nest. It sat there looking at me with its blinded eye. I walked over to it, but it flew away.
“I must look around for more hints this K.B. person had left for me.” Although continuing on in the forest like land seemed fun, a drop of rain had hit my bonnet thus signaling me to go inside.
I ran back to the manor even though my dream was to leave this place. Once inside, the whole place was lit with candles and rose petals scattered across the floor in the form of a rigid path.
“Welcome back Annabella, I missed you my little kitty boo.” said a voice that had sounded so familiar
“No, it can’t be!” it was the quickest thought that I could possibly come up with.
“That’s right, it your big strong punisher.”
I stared at him with a blank look. This wasn’t the time for it. Eventually the man came out, it was the same guy who nearly killed me.
“Remember this strong muscular body, little birdy?” he approached me and pinned me to the wall. The stench of his breath nearly caused me to pass out. He lifted up and looked at my hand and gave me a scornful look.
“What’s that”, he asked me as our eyes met once again.
I turned away with my eyes squinted shut as tight as possible. He wasn’t backing down this time.
“Answer me or else.” He demanded, still I didn’t budge.
“Fine, if you want to play that game”, he snatched the envelope straight out of my hand, “then we’re going to play a fun game.” His faced turned twisted as he released me to the floor.
“Your master is going to love what I have found.”
“Oh no, the last thing I needed was another lecture. Why does this keep happening to me?” I thought.
Believe For Me: Part 3 Review:
Okay so far we have just learned about the characters Dario and Neoma. Well it seems though that Zyler is hiding something, knowing that he just bit him the neck claiming that it is protection. Besides this, there is a rumor about some sort of ritual coming up. But what could that mean and who is this K.B.? Why does Asuki find a mysterious invitation dancing in the wind outside the window? Soon all of these answers shall be answered, be very patient my dear reader. To jump to such unexpected conclusions hurt the story ever so.
Believe For Me: Part Four Preview
“Sir Rhys, the master has summoned you for something rather important.” It was Leora. Thank god she’s here.
“Tell him that I shall run a tad bit late, I have matters to attend to.” He looked at me with a crooked grin. It was apparent to know how badly annoyed she was starting to get,
“He says now.” she said with a stern voice.
“Why should I?” Rhys asked with a upsetting like puzzled look.
“Aren’t you part of his contract?” she teased him irritatingly, he was soon defeated.
“I will go but I shall be back to finish where I left off.” He smashed his lips as hard as he could against my own Rhys set my arms free and left finger marks and bruises all over my wrist.
“Leora patch Asuki’s wrist up”, he ordered as he walked away. “And do remember one thing, I don’t take orders from you.”
He turned around and leaned forward with arms behind his back and his breathe towards her face.
“Aren’t you part of his contract?” he sneered her with her own statement. She was utterly defeated just like him. Soon Rhys was gone and left me on the ground. Leora, on the other hand, just stuck up a finger and mattered beneath her breath.
“You bitchass puss!”
