"What do you want, Jae?" Later at night while Yoongi was busy remixing his melody in front of his computer, with his old but favorite cream colored shirtβ F and G letters printed in front of it, his bed hair was tousled everywhere until a repetitive buzz came from his phone. It was very disturbing especially when his hand reached the thing and he finally saw the caller ID.
Yoongi could choose not to answer but he slid the phone and put it on his ear anyway.
"Aw come on my man, Yoongo Bongo. Don't be so salty." The man from the other line clicked his tongue. A loud blast of EDM filled the background.
"Come and join us in the club, Yoongs." The man asked whilst giggling.
"Not interested. So bye-"
"Hey! Don't cut the call just yet, asshole." Jaebum spatted, Yoongi didn't even understand why he listened to him in the first place, he really didn't end the call just to feel more enraged than before.
"Don't be such a pussy, Yoong. Are you that afraid of your father might find out that his beloved one and only son actually loved to get drunk and dancing in the club, hmm?" The man slurred.
"Shut up! I told you I don't want to hang around trash like you anymore. Can you just leave me alone?" Yoongi hissed as he slammed his hand on the table.
"Woa, woa, chill yo. Trash like us belong together." Jaebum chuckled and replied Yoongi sarcastically.
"Wait wait, I'll send you something cool in the message, check it out."
Yoongi lowered his phone and put the call on hold, he checked the pop up notification and widened his eyes. There was a picture of him getting drunk in Jaebum's house a few days ago, the room was dimly lit but he could still recognize it was him.
"I'll be waiting in the club as per usual. If you don't come, you know whom I will forward this picture to." Jaebum laughed and ended the call while Yoongi let out a low grunt and threw all the musical notes on his desk. Yes, Jaebum's parents knew his father very well, they were a regular visitor of the church, that's how Jaebum knew his father and somehow ended up having his number.
He ran his fingers over his hair frustratedly.
"What am I suppose to do now?!" He groaned, covered his face with his bigger palms.
"My father what?" Yoongi gasped when he heard the flash news from pastor Seokjin.
"My father wants to engage me with Y/N?!" He nearly shouted.
"Why? You don't like it?" Pastor Seokjin asked, cocking his eyebrow.
"N-no, it's not like that... I just..." He bit down his lower lips to hold himself from smiling.
Getting into an arranged marriage by your parents sounded, just like when he watched that stupid clichΓ© romance movie. And he actually found that plan was not bad at all. In fact, he would like it to be happen and maybe, maybe Y/N would fall for him just like how they pictured it in the movieβ where the characters fall in love eventually.
"But you have to behave, Yoongi. Your father had been delaying the plan because he was too busy to fight with you." Yoongi's smile fell, exchanged with a frown.
"He always be the one who started it, not me." the younger scoffed.
Pastor Seokjin sighed, "it didn't matter who start it. From now on you have to be a bit nicer, just beat with it for a while. I promise you when your father gets through his plan and make you engaged with Y/N, he would eventually change into a better person, you know how much he had a soft spot for the twins, right? Even to Hoseok he preferred him over you." Yoongi bitterly snorted. Exactly another reason why he didn't get along with that brunette.
"Okay, Fine." Yoongi finally agreed.
He had promised to keep his attitude low and he wouldn't let that asshole Jae ruined it all. Yoongi quickly stammered over his clothes he threw over his bed, wearing whatever shits left there before heading toward his door. Thankfully his father wasn't home yet so he could easily slipped out of his house.
When he entered the club, he had been welcomed with the mix smell of cigarettes and alcohol. It had been a long time since the last time he visited a club, the last time he did was when he's in his early senior and that time when he lost hisβ
Never mind.
He quickly pushed himself through the sweaty people and went straight to the VVIP room which Jaebum and Yugyeom had already booked.
He bumped into a taller figure on his way, Yoongi was in a sour mood so even though it was his fault, he still looked up at the stranger and glared at him.
"Yah, Watch where you going, redhead." Yoongi growled. "Are your eyes not big enough to see?" He continued to sass.
The taller man scoffed and glared back at him. What Yoongi didn't realize was: who the other man that stood beside the redhead. He just rolled his eyes and walked away, unaware the fact that the other man was staring at him as his back disappearing into the crowd.
"Welcome to the party, Yoongi!" Jaebum laughed, he jumped off the leather couch and stumbled on his way toward Yoongi.
"I'm here, so delete the picture now." Yoongi hissed but only to be ignored by the taller.
"Ah, Ah, ah, not so fast Yoongo Bongo. Come here." He wrapped his wrist around Yoongi's thinner one, only to be snatched harshly by the latter.
"I don't have time for your fucking bullshit, Jae. Told you yesterday was the last time. So what do you want now?!" Yoongi raised his voice. Yugyeom who had been watching since earlier just snickered as he got his arms occupied with the girls beside him.
"Aw man, you're very no fun." Jaebum slurred, Yoongi could already see he's already tipsy.
"Just give me your phone." Yoongi forcefully stuffed his hands on Jaebum's pocket, the man laughed as he felt tickled but he didn't stop him.
That until the VVIP room suddenly opened and a woman walked in. She wore a tight black dress, her heels clacked as she made her way in.
"Ah! Yura-Noona!" Yoongi body stiffened as he heard the name Jaebum had been calling. He still stuck his hand inside the latter pocket, didn't move an inch.
"Yoongi, is that you?" The woman asked, despite the loud music blasting inside the room, Yoongi could still clearly recognize that voice.
That melodic voice which had been accompanied one of his night a long time ago.
"Ahβ Ah... It's okay, you're doing great, Ahβ" as their body pressed so close together, moan mixed with sweat altogether as Yoongi kept letting out a pleasured grunt.
That night he won't ever forgot for his entire life, because it was his first time.
His long black locks sprawled against the bed as Yoongi propped himself with his elbows on top of her, before slowly leaned his face closer and kissed her neck.
It was a fuzzy memory because he was a half drunk. But he still remember it crystal clear, that night when he lost his virginity to a one night stand and the woman was now stood right behind his back, Kim Yura.
The way she led him patiently, the way they kissed passionately, all the memories hit him altogether with the painful regret, the guilt he felt when he was met with Y/N's smiling eyes when he went to school the very next day. He felt like he cheated with the only love of his life, he should have treasured his v card, but he lost it due to his anger toward his father.
"Aww man up, dude! You just lost your virginity to a Goddess!" Jaebum chirped happily as he wrapped his arm around Yoongi's shoulder. The shorter male shrugged it harshly before glaring at him.
"So, How was it? I bet her body wasβ" before he could finish his word, a hard punch had already collided with Jaebum's pale face.
Although Yoongi hated Jaebum's guts, he didn't understand himself why he still hang around him anyway. But thankfully his bad habit stopped ever since he went to the theology major along with Y/N. Maybe because he had passed his puberty phase so he got his sense back but it didn't matter now. And maybe because they went to a different college as well.
"Yoongi, is that really you?" The mixed feelings rushed back to him all at once. Yoongi flinched but couldn't turn to face the woman who had been calling for his name since earlier.
Fuck this shit.
And within a split second, Yoongi had stormed out of the room, leaving the rest dumbfounded. The drunk picture was long to be forgotten.
"W-what..." Jaebum stared at the wall.
"What about your pictureeeee?" He mumbled to himself while fishing out his phone.
"Aww, sorry, Yura Noona." He slurred. "Maybe you can meet him again next time." Jaebum giggled as the woman pouted her red lips.
Jaebum scrolled in his gallery and opened Yoongi's drunk picture again. "Maybe I can use this again later." He chuckled to himself before flopping back to the couch with the girls.
"Min Yoongay?" Taehyung repeated.
"What kind of asshole parents would name his son like that?" He asked in disbelieve, Min Yoongay sounded so gay to him. Ew.
Must had his life hard, to live up with that name.
Jackson just giggled unable to process anything Taehyung or himself had just said. He already gets drunk.
"Ughh... dunno, dunno. Let's just dance." He shook his head before pulled his best friend from the empty corner toward the crowded dancing floor.
And so that's how they wasted their night until the sun almost up.
"Ah you guys are making me frustated!" The foreigner exclaimed while slamming his hands on Jungkook's desk.
"H-huh, what? Trusfrated?" Jungkook repeated.
"No! FRUSTATED!"
"Fruitasted?"
"Gaaahhh! Is there anyone that could actually speak English here?" Jungkook parted his lips, feeling insulted all of sudden. He wasn't that bad in English, it just that word was hard to pronounce.
(Lmao this fic is in english but you guys know what I meant right?)
It was a peaceful weekend before the two people who had been sitting in front of Jungkook's desk came in.
"Hey, what's going on here?" Chief Namjoon approached Jungkook's desk who's now occupied with one foreigner and one Korean across his seat.
"C-Chief?" Jungkook stammered as he looked up. Namjoon gave the foreigner his dimpled smile.
"Can you speak English?" The foreigner man asked, he had a natural blond hair and green eyes, looking up at Namjoon who gave him a small nod back.
"What can I help you with, sir?" Before the foreigner man could answer, the Korean lady already jumped in.
"He hit me with his bicycle and I want to sue him for that!" The foreigner looked at the lady in disbelieve. She had a long curly hair, thick make up, fake expensive branded coat in black color, white shirt tucked in her black miniskirt.
"What did she say?!" The man asked Namjoon.
"She said you hit her with your bicycle and now she wanted to sue you for that." The foreigner gasped and slammed his hand on the desk. Jungkook flinched as he patted his own chest.
"Liar! That's nonsense! She was the one who jumped in front of my bike so suddenly!" The lady furrowed her eyebrows together.
"What did he say?!" Namjoon took a deep breath, his lower jaw slightly protruded.
"He said you were lying and that you were the one who jumped in front of his ride." The lady looked at the foreigner in disbelieve. Showing her overly dramatic act by parting her lips and gasped for air.
"Oh my God! Don't you see how I get injured over here!" She pointed at the small scratch in her palm and a bruise in her knee.
Namjoon sighed heavily. She's just another scammer, which was quite common nowadays, especially attacking foreigner who didn't speak nor understand Korean. Pretending to be caught in accident caused by tourist and then sue them for a hell lot of money.
"Do you expect a pretty girl like me would bet her whole life to get injured like this?" She batted her eyelashes dramatically while glancing at Jungkook. The young officer quite taken aback, leaning away to his chair instead, feeling intimidated by the lady in front of him.
"I-Iβ"
"I swear to God I didn't hit her like what she said! Even five year old kid can handle that little bruises and she wanted to sue me for that? You gotta be kidding me." The foreigner scoff. He didn't understand what she said but he understood the gestures when she pointed at her wound earlier.
"Miss, are you sure you want to sue this man over here?" Namjoon asked in his mother language. The man just sighed heavily waiting for his turn to speak.
The lady nodded eagerly, small smirk tugged at the corner of her lips.
"Then we have to submit the cctv evidence to the prosecutor. Don't worry, we'll retrieve it as soon as possible. Where did this happen again?" The lady suddenly stiffened. Cctv record?
"W-why would you need that?! Am I not an enough proof?!" Namjoon shook his head.
"Of course we will submit you as a witness, but to summon him on the prosecution we need the cctv record. So where was it again?" The lady flustered, she shifted her gaze anywhere, tapping her fingers on the armchairs. She bit her lower lips before abruptly getting up.
"Never mind!" She snorted. "I'll forgive you this once!" She said while pointing her long nail at the confused foreigner man and stormed out of the office with her head hanging high, not muttering a single word.
"W-what?" The man looked at Namjoon whilst knitting his eyebrows together. What the hell?
Jungkook also looked back and forth between the door where the lady just left to the foreigner, feeling lost.
"You have to be careful sir." Namjoon sighed. "There are a lot of scammer like her nowadays." The foreigner man clicked his fingers.
"S-scammer?!" The man blinked his eyes. "Hah! I knew it! No wonder she jumped on my bike out of nowhere and making scene out of it! I was just breathing air in Han river and this happened!" He accused, turning his head and boring his gaze on the glasses door where she left.
"I'm so sorry you have to get through such unnecessary event while you're in holiday here. I hope the rest of your day will be better." Namjoon said, smiled at the man.
Jungkook stared at his chief in awe with his Bambi's eyes. The way Namjoon talk and smile politely at the man made his heart skipped a beat. Cool.
Namjoon was exceptionally charming when he spoke English.
The foreigner man let out a deep breath before standing up and gathered his bag. "Yeah, never thought I would stumbled on something like this in my first visit to Korea." Namjoon just gave him a sympathetic look.
"I hope you won't regret your first visit, sir." The blond man just smiled at him. "Well, as long as there is still a good person like you here, I guess I'm not going to regret it." He winked at Namjoon.
"Thank you very much for helping me, Officer." If it wasn't because of you, I would already spent more than my whole week expenses for that crazy lady." He stretched his hand as he stepped forward. He's almost in the same height as the officer.
Namjoon grabbed his hand and shook it. "Your welcome. And please be more careful next time." The man gave Namjoon a reassuring nod before bowing at him as at Jungkook.
"Thank you very much and have a nice day." Then he walked away with his slumped shoulder out of the police station.
"You alright there, Officer Jeon?" The young officer blinked his eyes as Namjoon waved a hand in front of him.
"I-I okay, c-Chief!" He stuttered.
"It just... you were amazing! Your English was amazing!" Jungkook highly praised his senior. Namjoon chuckled and shrugged his shoulder.
"I never knew you can speak English very well. Oh my God, you have to teach me, hyung, you have too!" Jungkook blurted out excitedly, later realized what he had said and quickly clasped his mouth as Namjoon stared at him while pursing his lips.
"I-I'm s-so Sorry, Chief. I didn't mean to call you hyung... a-and I didn't mean to be rude." Jungkook lowered his gaze while Namjoon widened his eyes.
The taller man laughed as he ruffled Jungkook's hair. Wow, I guess he's in a good mood nowadays. Jungkook wasn't the one who realized that Namjoon wasn't all salty this past week. Officer Sehun who had watched from his desk right behind Jungkook's also realized the sudden shift of Namjoon's mood. He's not as temperamental as before and seemed happy nowadays.
The handsome officer cocked one of his eyebrows while crossing his arms in front of his chest, still studying the same aged man in front of him.
"It's okay, kid. You can call me hyung." Jungkook gasped and his eyes sparkled.
"F-for real?" He bounced his legs whilst sitting, giddy like a little kid.
Namjoon nodded, "Now get back to work." He ordered, playfully in a higher tone.
"Can you please teach me English hyung?" Jungkook pleaded as Namjoon turned his heels.
"Maybe yes, maybe not?" The young officer groaned as he watched his chief walking away. He leaned his back on his chair and jumped when he felt a hot air behind his neck.
"Hyung, Huh?" Hoseok appeared and whispered right beside of him.
"You're surprising me, asshole!" Jungkook nearly screamed, he patted his chest to calm his weak heart.
Hoseok narrowed his gaze at his best friend, plastering a betrayed expression. "So he's your hyung now?" Jungkook snorted as he rolled his eyes.
He looked back at the note on top of his desk, ignoring Hoseok.
"Yah! You're a traitor! Now you hyung hyung with that jerk, huh?" He whisper-yelled at the black haired officer, who still ignored his whine.
"I thought we are friend, you know how he badly treated us before!" Jungkook finally turned his attention at the brunette, looking at him in disbelieve.
"He treated us bad and because of you, I somehow unluckily get dragged along. Besides, he's actually a good man and a good officer who did his job properly." He deadpanned while pointing his finger at Hoseok. "You should have realized that since you are his partner." Jungkook added.
"If you have any problem with Chief Joon, you better at it on your own. Your problem is yours, not mine, Seok." Hoseok sucked in a deep breath at Jungkook's statement. He felt disappointed when his friend suddenly looking up at the man he despised the most.
"Fine! You'll regret it later! Don't say I never warn ya!" Hoseok yelled before stomped his feet away from Jungkook's desk. The black haired male just scoffed and paid attention back to his task.
"Yeah, yeah, whatever."
Jungkook hummed as he continued his work. Finally, he found someone who could teach him English, he had always wanted to learn the language. What he needed to do was just get into Namjoon's good side.
"Thank you, Jimin." Y/N had a morning shift in the cafe where she met Jimin who came to deliver the milk pack.
"Your welcome~" The man smiled, his eyes disappeared into a shape on crescent.
"So how was yesterday? What do you think about the volunteer?" She asked as she helped Jimin to stack the box inside the shelf.
"It was great! I have a good time there." Jimin half-ly lied. He could actually have a lot of good time if just there was no Taehyung in the picture.
"Oh, great. I thought you didn't enjoy it because it seemed like Taehyung bothered you a lot." She sighed in relief.
"Nope, it's okay. He can be annoying sometimes but I am used to handle a jerk like him." Jimin spatted as Y/N replied,
"He's actually a good person." She said, causing Jimin to stop whatever he was doing and turned his head facing her, confusion plastered all over his face.
"How can you say that?" Y/N shrugged and just smiled. "I just know. I usually never wrong at judging people." She said Jimin shook his head.
Perhaps you were wrong just now. Jimin snorted to himself.
Despite the two have different point of view, Jimin still admired how she could see all the bright side on all things. Jimin might look like an optimistic kid but he had passed so many horrible events in his life so his point of view of life was kinda dull, although not everyone knew that fact because he's so good in hiding his true self.
"Anyway, this is the last box." Jimin said as he placed one last box inside the shelf. Y/N nodded and stretched her arm toward the counter behind her, retrieving a bag of two bubble tea and handed it to Jimin.
"What is this?" The brown haired boy asked as he quirked one of his eyebrow.
"A gift for your hard work." Jimin blushed as he waved his hands.
"No, no, you really didn't have to." Y/N didn't budge and kept shoving the bag to the male.
"Take them or I'll throw all in the trash." Jimin chuckled in disbelieve.
"How can I say no when you threatened me with this poor tea all the time?" He shook his head and finally took the drink.
"And that one is for Sian. Don't drink it yourself." Y/N pointed her finger toward the cream colored drink. "I used banana milk to make that." She chuckled. "It was not in the menu though."
"You act as if you are the one who owned this store huh?" Jimin teased as he nudged her elbow.
Y/N crossed her arms in front of her chest before leaning closer to Jimin's face.
"Might as well as mine because the owner rarely come." She whispered.
Jimin face heated up because his mind had been thinking something else since earlier. He mentally facepalmed himself before returned her with a playful tickles on her waist.
"Geez, what if I tell your boss what you just said to me?" Y/N just laughed then faked up a puppy eyes.
"Please, please, don't. Jimin is the nicest guy in the whole world, right? He won't make his friend sad, right?" Y/N brushed her hands together, acting out she was begging for her life to Jimin.
Meanwhile, Jimin's smile slowly faded,
Friend...
Why did his heart clenched when he hear that?
But that was exactly what they were.
Just a friend.
Don't worry, Jimin wouldn't be jimin if he gave up before he tried. At least he was just a friend, he just needed to make sure it escalated by adding one more word.
Best friend?
Nah, it sucks. Ouch.
He'll add boy before friend, boyfriend, that was his relationship goals at the moment.
He snapped back to reality when he heard the door bell rang.
"Jisoo! You came!" Y/N chirped as she quickly took off her apron.
"Uh, yeah? Oh hello there Jimin!" She greeted before she walked behind the counter and placed her bag underneath it.
Y/N handed the apron to her.
"Thank God you already came." She sighed as Jisoo cocked an eyebrow.
"Why? Do you have any plan after this?" Jisoo questioned as Y/N nodded her head.
"Kinda." She untied her hair and let it displayed on her back. She quickly ran toward the staff room and changed into her casual clothes.
"I have to go now." Y/N said as she went out, slang her bag over her shoulder.
Jisoo who just handed the cash over to pay Jimin widened her eyes.
"Why are you in such hurry? Uhhh~ do you have a date?" She teased, while Jimin looked over at Y/N, curiosity filled his eyes.
"Nope." Y/N's face flushed red. "I just have a hang out plan after this." Jisoo grinned from ear to ear, looking at her friend all flustered.
"Then why are your face so red, huh? Must be a date! Is it a girl or a man?" She continued to ask as Y/N's hand already reached at the door.
She stomped her feet before answering, "it just a hang out I swear to God!"
"Just answer it already!" Jisoo peered.
"A man!" She yelled with her face now turning into a deep shade of red, already storming out of the store before she could hear her friend teased her once again. And his kid too...
Jisoo laughed her ass off, finding her friend funny but stopped when her eyes landed on the quiet man.
"Jimin, are you alright?" She asked while tilting her head to the side.
Jimin faked up a smile, "What are you talking about?"
Jisoo pointed with her finger, scrunched her face while looking down at Jimin's hand, "Ugh, you're choking that money." Jisoo looked over the cash Jimin had been holding with her sympathetic eyes.
The boy gasped and looked down over his palm was clutching on the poor paper cash. He let out a deep breath and stuffed it inside his pants pocket.
"I'm just fine." He said with his eyes still glued on the door where Y/N just left.
Not proof read yet.
And say hello to the mysterious woman who stole Yoongi's v card haha :')
And sorry Jimin, I'm so sorry! You know what's coming up next right?
