It was a sunny day. The sky was blue and crystal clear. Emerson had gotten me a vintage looking Maroon 5 muscle shirt with an adorable skirt, shoes I saw in the store a little while ago, and a really pretty heart shaped necklace. Emerson had the same shirt with a blueish green plaid overshirt, and a pair of khaki shorts on. His shirt made his eyes stand out a lot. He was so cute, he picked me up and I wasn't sure where we were going but wherever it was it wasn't somewere I was used to. I fell asleep on the way to where ever we were going and woke up when we stopped for gas. Emmmy was awfully excited today about something but wouldn't tell me. I was anxious to get to our destination. When we pulled up to a big stadium looking building Emerson grabbed his wallet, a blanket, his keys, his backpack, and his ID.We were walking on the way in when I noticed Maroon 5 posters everywhere. He walked up to a man, gave him his bag while asking if I had one, and while the man checked it he pulled two slips of aper out of his wallet. The man gave him his bag back and took papers, "follow me and stay close" he said sternly. We traveled behind him into an open sort of room, it was classy and eloquent. There was a very large tv and two large red leather couches. I wasn't sure who was walking in but I almost had a heart attack when Adam Levine walked in looking fine as ever. My eyes My eyes probably bulged out of my head so much they thought they would pop out. "Finley? Hey I'm Adam the lead singer of Maroon 5.I'm so glad you could make it here, you're going to love the show and I hope you don't have stage fright... you might hate that wonderful guy that brought you here and arranged this all for you. You're a very lucky girl. I have to go but I'll see you very soon." He walked out after the others and we were le to a VIP area. The show hadn't started yet, we were waiting for the opening act when Adam walked out on stage, "Hey everybody we are having complications... our opening acts flights got delayed. That's okay though because we have two very talented artists that haven't been noticed by the public.
"Could Emerson and Finley come up here please?" I didn't know what to do and next thing I knew Emmy was grabbing my hand and pulling me up on stage. Adam handed Emerson the micropone and all the girls started screaming and whistling. I was so mad but I just let myself seem calm. He looked and sounded like he was born to be on stage. I know our outfits looked so cute together. He started singing Give Me Love by Ed Sheeran. Everyone was going crazy. I was so nervous, after he finished he seemed content with himself; I waited for the song to start and I was going to sing Take Me to Church. I started singing "I'll worship like a dog at the shrine of your lies." "Take me to church." when I was done the croud was roaring and Emerson came up and hugged me so tight I think he was tearing up. The last song we sang as a duet, Habits by Tove Lo. We gave out our social media and our phones started blowing up.
After Maroon 5 preformed, we met and Emerson told me to go to the car. So I said my goodbyes and he came out a few minutes later and we headed home. This was a great day. The ride home was more energetic. I asked why he did this and he said we were just lucky and I needed noticed. He was so sweet and I could fall myself falling in love. It was so great since we were out of school. We were going to the beach in my mom's jeep she left at the house for me and took the car. She told me I would need to pack all my stuff up really in case we need to move. Emerson's parents offered for me to stay there while moving, my mom said she would think about it.
