After dinner while Louis was in the shower I was watching the local news in bed. Then out of nowhere my name was said ‘Riley Tomlinson caught getting into a fight with a press guy!’ they reported guy shouted. I sighed and continued watching. There was a short clip of my slapping the camera out of the press guy’s hands. The video was taking from a distance, but you could tell it was me. I am massively tired of this. I got off the bed and made my way downstairs. Zayn and Niall where watching a movie
“RILEY!!!” Niall yelled when he first saw me. “NIALL!!!” I yelled back. “SHH! SHH! I want to hear this!” Zayn shouted. I went behind the TV and unplugged it. “WHAAA? Who? WHERE DID IT GO!?!?!” Zayn yelled. I rolled my eyes. “GUYS! Come with me.” The followed me to Louis and I’s bedroom. I showed them what the news said about me. Niall shrugged his shoulders. “Riley… You gotta watch what you do in public.” He told me. I sighed, “BUT! Can’t they just leave me A-L-O-N-E?!” I yelled back. Zayn looked at me and looked down. “Obviously not,” He muttered. Louis came out of the bathroom with a towel wrapped around him. “Party? I wasn’t invited!” He whined. “This is no party!” I complained. I showed him the news as well. He sighed and pulled me close. “Hey, Niall… Zayn can I talk to her alone?” he asked them they nodded and left. “Remember when I asked you out for the first time?” He reminded me. I nodded, “Remember when I told you that the fame could get in our way?” I stood there and thought to myself… ‘I remember I promised that his fame won’t make me not love him anymore,’ I sighed “Yes…” I muttered. “I don’t think you can handle it anymore,” he lightly told me.
I pulled away from him. “I can’t!” I yelled a bit. He walked towards me I moved. “Babe, I really don’t want this to happen again…” He whined. I gulped, “Well I can’t take it anymore.” There was a silence. “So… What are you going to do?” he said. The way he said it I could tell he was scared. I looked in his eyes, they were watery. I went over and hugged him, then ran out of the room and down the hallway to Darla’s room. I looked back and he was standing there in the hallway with the towel still wrapped around him. I grabbed Darla and some money and ran out the door. I got into my car. I started to pull out of the flat’s driveway. I looked back in the driver’s mirror to see Not only Louis, but Danielle, and the whole gang standing outside yelling for me to come back. I kept driving, Darla was howling. I took a gulp. “What did I just do?” I said out loud.
Darla and I drove down to my home town. Warrington, Cheshire it was about an hour away from London where our flat was. I pulled up into my parent’s driveway. I got Darla, and knocked on the door. My mum answered.
“Riley!” He hugged me. I smiled.
“Hey mum…”
“What’s wrong sweetie?” She took Darla out of my hands. I started to tear.
“Aww, poor baby!” She pulled me inside. We sat down at the kitchen table and made tea.
“What’s the problem?” She lightly asked. I told her exactly what happened. Taking deep breaths and lots of sips of tea. She told me how I did make a promise years ago, and that if I really loved Louis this would bother me as much. I thought for a while. Does this mean I don’t love Louis? I mean how my mom explained it seemed like if I really loved him I wouldn’t of left. So… all the times I said ‘I love you’ to him I was lying? I took a deep breath.
“But, I do love him… I think…” I sighed.
“I know baby, Relationships are so hard.”
“Ten times harder when you’re married to a famous person!” I added. She chuckled.
“Mum?”
“Yes dear?”
“I want your complete honest opinion.”
“Will do babe,”
“Do you think Louis and I are going to last?” I stuttered.
“Honestly, I find it unlikely for you guys to stay together,” She bit her lip. I nodded I have A LOT of thinking to do…..
