I decided to go home around 2. Soda walked me back - Dally had gone to meet Buck. "You know Dal likes you real bad?" I giggled.
"I know. It's just sometimes I feel he doesn't like me, like when he flirts with other broads right in front of me. You dig?" He nodded at me.
After a while Soda said, "I know he flirts with other broads but you do know that it's only to keep his rep. Like I've never heard him say 'I love you' to you but when it's just me and him he never shuts up." I giggled again, I'd been giggling a lot lately.
Before I could reply and red mustang pulled up. A group of Socs jumped out the car and wrestled Soda to the wall. I was running away. I was no good at fighting and I had never been jumped before. Nothing on my mind a part from getting away from the Socs. I wasn't quick enough though. They threw me against the nearest wall and hit me, as if I was a punching bag, on the side of my face. My eyes started filling with tears. "Awe. Is this little greaser going to start crying?" One of them said.
I looked over to Soda. He was doing well, however he had a deep cut running from his eye to his lip from the switches they were using on him. The blood was dripping onto the floor leaving a puddle. He was going to have a scar there.
The Socs suddenly pulled there switch blades out on me. I could see that they were talking to me but I couldn't hear them because I was screaming and trying to break free from there grasp. I stopped when I felt pain shooting through my arm. I looked up and saw them dragging a blade through my skin, from my wrist to shoulder. The blood was pouring down the side.
Then I heard Dally's voice shout, "Stop hurting her!"
'Well what about Soda?' I thought. I looked over at him and he was alone. All the Socs had come to me to try shut me up. Dally was beating up the guys now and was doing a hell of a good job.
I was in a daze when Dally ran up to me and said, "Let's get you home." He lifted me up and ran me back to mine. He knocked on the door, repetitively, until my dad opened up.
"What the hell have you done to her?!" My dad yelled at Dally as he saw me.
"Dad," I started. "I got jumped by some Socs and because I've never been jumped before I didn't know what to do and I couldn't defend myself so they cut me. Thankfully, Dally came and stopped them." Before Dad could reply Marci came running down the stairs and screamed,
"Oh god! Asha! What happened?" Her panicked voice stopped and was followed by, "Oh hi. You must be Dallas Winston." I went bright red. My parents didn't know about me and Dally.
"Erm yeah....." He said
"Who?" My dad interrupted.
"Only Asha's boyfriend Daddy." Ugh she had to okay the 'Daddy' card. I hit her.
"Okay, Asha, we'll talk about this tomorrow. I think you need some rest." I nodded and motioned Dally to follow me. He followed me up the stairs and I told him to wait in my room whilst I went to get a bandage for my arm.
I walked into my room and saw Dally looking at my pin board of old photos. "Thanks Dal." I said as I jumped on the bed next to him.
"No problem kiddo." That's more like it. Kiddo instead of babe.
"I mean it. Oh and sorry about Marci." He laughed a bit.
"It's fine," He started. "I better get going. I was meant to meet someone."
"Okay. Love you."
"Love you too." He said and kissed me on the lips. This time the kiss felt weird. Like it was awkward and I don't know why.
