Sara solemnly walked to school. She didn't live that far away, so it wasn't unusual to see a lonely looking girl wearing a baggy t-shirt and jeans walking to school, with her earbuds in.
Somebody's hands covered her eyes, and even though you couldn't see, they brightened considerably.
"Guess whoooooo???" A bubbly voice asked.
"Morning, Lenna" Sara piped up. Lenna removed her hands from Sara's eyes, and started walking to the grand marble steps of the school.
"You'll never believe what happened!" Lenna gushed suddenly. Lenna was bouncing up and down from excitment, and her hands were twirling her strawberry blonde hair.
"What?" Sara giggled.
"My. Dad. Got. Me. A.....," Lenna opened the front doors to the school. "NEW DESIGNER DRESS FOR THE UPCONING DANCE EEEEEEE!!!"Lenna's peircing gray eyes looked into Sara's green ones, searching for any emotion or thoughts about the dance...or the dress
Sara never understood what was so fun about dances. You went to a place to eat, talk, drink, and awkwardly bop to the music. Girls wore pretty dresses, and boys either wore fancy suits or hoodies and sweats. What's so fun?
"Yay...?"
"Don't tell me you're not coming!" Lenna gasped, recognizing the look of utter and complete confusion on her friends face.
Sara laughed a bit more. "If you want me to I can? Maybe? Come?"
"Oh good, good, good because I already told your dad that after school today we were going dress shopping. Oh." Lenna reached into the pocket of her floral romper. "Here," she said giving her an envelope. "Your dad put $100 in it to buy a dress."
Sara's face twisted into a look of disgust. "Money from my mom?"
"Ha...yeah..."
"I could always design my own dress right?"
"NO!! We're going shopping!"
The two walked in silence to their lockers which were, conveniently, next to each other. They both had the same schedule too, except during Lenna's flex period Sara was in and extra art class. She spent that time usualy designing clothes.
"Ok. What time did my dad say I should be home? Obviously, you've discussed this with him."
Lenna rolled her eyes up a bit, it was a weird habit of hers when she tried to remember something. "6 pm sharp"
"Oh?"
"Yeah."
The duo walked into their homeroom, and was immedialty blinded by the flashing camera's of girls trying to click pictures of Luka before they had to go to their CORRECT desination, where they would send their pictures to eachother on some weird fangirling chat.
"Get out!," snapped Lenna.
"NoOOOOoooooO!!!!" One of the girls screeched.
"In 39.8 seconds from...NOW!" Another said.
"Ladies, Ladies, I don't want you getting in trouble, so why don't you go?" Luka asked, well, demanded of them.
"OMGOMGOMG OFCOURSE LUKA!" The group shrieked. They crowded out the doors of the classroom, and you could hear their stomping feet from miles away.
Sara and Lenna's eyes rolled into the ceiling in sync.

5th period, Sara felt somebody's eyes on her back. Her head snapped back, and made a weird crack! -ing noise. Lenna looked at Sara, who shrugged in response when she saw nobody looking at her.
"Your homework is to write a 5-page essay on the character growth of 3-8 characters from The Hunger Games trilogy using the..." Her ELA teacher's voice was drowned out when once again, she felt eyes on her back. She let the person looking for a couple more seconds, before turning her head back. Her green eyes met Luka's. He blushed, only the tiniest bit, but then looked at the teacher. "You have ten minutes left of class to start. I'm heading to my meeting early, Sara and Lenna, make sure nobody get's out would control would you?"
"Yes, Miss." The two replied at the same time. The second the teacher was out the door, the two girls started working, as did everybody else, except Luka, his friend, and his fan club. Fan club took pictures and videos, and his friend walked him over to Sara and Lenna's table.
"Girls." Luka's minion said.
"What was...that in homeroom?" Luka asked.
"So Lenna...Romeo's character growth what you got?"
"Well I have-"
"Girls" Luka asked, obviously annoyed his question wasn't answered.
"-that he became more-" Lenna tried to continue.
Luka's henchman rolled his eyes. "Answer his question girlies."
The bell rung, Sara and Lenna both made little, hmph noises as they packed their bags and headed to lunch.
The two boys looked at each other and sighed. "We'll get them later," Luka said.

Lenna looked around. She couldn't find Sara anywhere!
"I'll only be a minute," Sara said as she walked towards the lunch line.
"Where is that girl? Lenna quietly muttered.
"HERE. I. Ammmmm..." Sara panted, holding out a box of fresh brownies to her friend. "Had...to get some...before...they...were gone..."
Lenna laughed. "Girl, you get me! Thanks!"
"Water? Please?"
"Sure," Lenna laughed as she watched her friend slurp from her water bottle.
"Ahhh...shopping?" Sara asked after she had drunk her fill. Most definitely.
"We will find you a dress for the dance! So what color? Style? By who?"
"Any shade of pink, orange, or purple, fit and flare, mermaid, or one-shoulder anddddd I honestly don't care."
Lenna looked up from her notes. "Pink, orange, and purple? Like a combination or-"
"All of one shade, maybe ombre, but no. Not all those colors together."

The two girls walked into their favorite store for dresses. Windsor.
"How may I help you?" a petite blonde woman came out from behind a massive box of dresses.
"Uhhhhhh.....we're uhhhhh looking for a-" Sara begun.
"Pink, purple, or orange dress for a school dance. For her," Lenna jerked her thumb, pointing at Sara. "Fit and flare, mermaid, or one-shoulder is all game."
"Any..specific designer?" The woman asked.
"Nope," Sara replied. She looked at the woman's name tag. It read:
Hello! My name is:
Ashley Morgan
Ashley lead them to the back of the store.
"You," She said, pointing to Sara. "Go into a changing room. Your friend and I will pick some dresses out! So what do you-"
Sara stepped into the changing room, and waited, and waited, and-
BOOM!
Lenna and Ashely burst through the door with what seemed like 4092 dresses. "Here we go again," Sara thought to herself.

In the end, Sara ande Lenna both decided that Sara looked best in a pink, fit and flare dress. It was blsuh pink, went down to her knees, and had no embelishments except a jeweled neckline. Simple, but most definetly Sara.
"Your total is 59.36 girls!" Sara gave Ashley the money, thanked her, and walked out of the store.

Sara went to bed that night, thinking about what happened in ELA. Surely, it's nothing, Sara thought. He just...wanted to talk. Yeah...that's all.
