Liam's neck healed from Scott's claws a few minutes later. The only reason they didn't heal right away is because they were wounds inflicted by an alpha, apparently.
Before the chimera awoke, Liam was thinking about how much he missed the rest of the pack. He was so glad that Derek and Lydia had been there for him, but he couldn't help but want to see everyone else.
He brought his phone out of his jean pocket and scrolled through his contacts, landing on Mason's number. Just as he was about to dial his best friend, he heard a quiet, raspy voice coming from the centre of the room.
"Little wolf?" The voice said, barely audible to human senses. Derek's head shot up from his phone and Lydia looked around, confused by the sudden change of mood.
"T?" All three of the pack members answered simultaneously, making the chimera let out a painful chuckle.
"Yeah, hey there strangers."
The trio gasped and smiled, running up to where Theo was sat on the metal table and tackling him down, all of them hugging as though their life depended on it.
Liam growled at the two, in a friendly manner if that's even possible, and pulled them off of his lover. He then made his way back to where Theo was struggling and lifted his chin with his thumb, connecting their lips.
"I love you..." Liam mumbled into Theo's t-shirt when they had pulled away, and it was so quiet that only Derek heard it. His heart ached for the couple standing before him.

Derek and Lydia went home that night. Theo and Liam didn't mind though, because it meant they could finally leave the clinic and crash at theirs.
Theo had his arm around Liam's shoulders as they walked into the house, unsurprised that Liam's parents weren't home. Theo was sure that they had a house somewhere else, though Liam had never told him anything about it if they did.
Liam sat Theo down on the couch and went to get him a glass of water, despite the fact that he was feeling well and was already healing, because well, Liam was his anchor. His home.
"Liam, I'm fine, really. Stop worrying, little wolf." Liam blushed at the nickname and sat himself beside the chimera, turning a film on. Neither of them had any idea as to what it was, for they were both staring at each other.

Around half an hour later, Theo noticed a dull ache in the back of his neck.
"Hey Li..?" Theo said, shaking the young wolf awake from his slumber.
"Hm?"
"Is there anything on my neck?" The chimera asked quietly, hearing the younger boy's heart rate increase.
"I- we, me and Scott, we went ins-" Liam was shaking, he couldn't lose Theo again.
"You what? Went inside my head?" Theo was angry at this point, and his eyes were flashing between their usual beautiful mocha-brown colour and the golden ones that his wolf owned.
"We just wanted to see what had happened!"
"You know that I don't like showing people everything about me, Liam!"
They were both screaming at each other at this point.
"Well I'm sorry I tried to save your life! I'll just let you die next time, you deserve it! You are a murderer, after all!" Liam couldn't stop the words falling out of his mouth as his IED took over, and he instantly wished that he could take it all back. The sight ahead of him broke his heart, he had never seen Theo so upset.
His eyes were watery and he willed the tears to go away. No wonder he built his walls so high, because people like Liam just come and tear them down if you're an easy target. "So, that's how you feel about me?" Theo couldn't stop the tears from falling at this point.
"No, Theo that's not what I-"
"Sure it is, you have this annoying tendency to lie to people's faces, so how could I trust you now?"
"So what if I thought it was true? The only other person that cares for you is Derek. You can't lose me." Liam's heart skipped a little as he talked of Derek, because he knew Lydia cared just a much.
Theo collected himself, wiped his eyes. "Fuck you, Dunbar."
And with that, Theo walked to the door, opened it and ran into the darkness.
