"watch where you're going, faggot." a familiar voice sneered. taehyung's face instantly fell in dismay when he looked up at the towering figure over him. it was her.
taehyung wasn't going to lie. she was, in fact, beautiful. but he knew that beauty was purely outer beauty, on the inside, kang mirae was anything but beautiful. when they were in high school, she and her 'entourage' would always pick on taehyung whenever jeongguk wasn't around, shoving him to the ground when they walked through the halls, locking him in the janitor's closet, and many more atrocities. taehyung shuddered at the memory and struggled to get up, only to be harshly knocked down again by mirae. he groaned in pain as his back hit the cold floor. unfortunately, there wasn't anyone around to help him.
"know your place, pig. i don't understand why jeongguk would even look your way. just give him back to me, before he breaks your little heart again," she smiled innocently (which was obviously fake), tucking her chestnut hair behind her ear.
taehyung remained silent for a while before speaking up.
"he chose me," he said with confidence.
"what was that, you fag?" mirae spat.
taehyung stood up. "i said, 'he chose me.'" he stated more boldly. "jeongguk wants me, not you, mirae. you two only kissed. once. you may want him, but he wants me."
"SHUT UP!" she yelled in frustration.
"no, i won't. you know why? you don't love jeongguk like i love him. i'm tired of you interfering with our relationship. i know exactly who you are. a spoiled, rich brat that's used to getting whatever you want. but guess what, mirae? there's some things in life that you will never have. jeongguk is mine and i will never give him to a snake like you," taehyung said before he stood up and walked away, leaving an enraged mirae behind.
