my throat had become hoarse from the screaming for this man to stop; for taehyung to get up and fight, or even better. run.
continuous pounds to the jaw, kicks to the stomach, the older was crippled over. blood splattered on the wooden floor. various coughing of blood came with every three bullets of fist.
my throat had become hoarse from the crying. but i silenced myself when his eyes locked with mine.
he moved forward.
up off of taehyung.
and closer to me.
as soon as i blinked, his hands were around my neck. my air had been cut off.
my body shook with his hand movements, my feet kicked and struggled.

taehyung's pov
through the tears and blurred vision, i saw the mum tumble off me. his boxy figure clambered towards jeongguk.
this was it.
i forced my body off the bloody floor, and as he grasped jeongguk's throat, i grabbed his ankle.
thrashing and throwing my arms towards him, multiple hits targeted to his face. his hat came off, revealing packets of white powder.
jeongguk silenced once again, instead of choking and whimpering. he whispered: eyes wide and on the man's face.
"papa?"
