"What the hell is wrong with you?!" I shout as I slap my (ex) boyfriend on the face. The guys are still holding him back.
"Alexandra, please-,"
I interrupt him before he begs for forgiveness, "Shut up! Why the hell did you break in and how the hell did you find me?"
"Let go of me and I'll explain everything," he pleads halfheartedly.
"Yeah, right," Tobi says sarcastically. "Answer her question right now or we are calling the police."
He looks at Tobi with hatred and he struggles a little to get out of the four guys' grips.
"C'mon man! You broke into our home and tried to hurt our daughter, you better 'fess up cause I ain't letting you go," JJ spits at Zach while they still struggle.
He sighs out defeated and says, "Fine, I needed to get something that Alex has that belongs to me."
Tobi and Ethan look at me in confusion and I give them the same confused look back.
I look back at Zach and fold my arms over my chest. I give him an annoyed look and ask, "What were you trying to get?"
He looks up at the guys holding him and then at Simon, Vik, and Josh who are standing behind me. Almost as if he doesn't trust them to hear what he's about to say, but he does anyway.
"A pendant. It's very important to me and I need it."
I raise my eyebrow and stare at him for a few moments before replying, "I don't have your pendant."
He looks at me with confusion and worry and stammers, "But- I could've sworn that you had it. No one else- nobody else would have it."
"I don't have it, Zachary. I don't even know what it looks like."
Josh then interjects and steps up so he's standing right next to me on my left, "And even if she did have it, you literally broke into the house. You broke the window. You're going to pay to fix it."
Zach laughs nervously, "Ha ha, yeah, I don't have any money, I blew it all to get a plane here."
I could tell Josh was fuming at this point, so I change the topic to prevent more blood from being shed today.
"Ok, here, guys let him go," I say to JJ, Harry, Ethan, and Tobi. They look at me hesitantly, especially JJ, but they eventually do it.
Zach stands up straight and gets him self put together.
I calmly and quietly say, "I don't have your pendant, and you've basically committed a crime to get it back. I think it's best if you just leave, and never, ever come back. Cause I don't want to see your face ever again."
He looks me up and down and says, "We'll have to pick up where we left off one day."
"Bye," I say with a smirk and a little wave and that's when JJ and Tobi basically escort him to the front door, leaving the rest of us in the kitchen.
I sit on one of the stools in the kitchen and let out a sigh of relief. I hear the front door close and Tobi and JJ walk back in.
"I hate him," JJ says to no one in particular.
"I wonder what he wants with a pendant," Vik ponders. I look up at the guys and grin.
"What's that look for?" Josh asks acting creeped out.
"I don't know what he wants with the bloody pendant," I pause and look at each of the guys. "But I'm gonna find out because it's upstairs in my bedroom."
I slowly start to see smirks raise onto their faces as they realize what I've done. JJ lets out a chuckle while Ethan applauds me.
"You're a cheeky little liar," Simon points at me with a grin.
I laugh in my seat and relish in the joy that I've bamboozled Zach.
"Tomorrow I'm going to crack down the mystery on what's so important about that damned pendant," I say with confidence in my voice.
"I'll join you. I want to get rid of that lunatic and make sure he never bothers you or any of us again," Harry adds.
"Detective Alex and her assistant Detective Harry, kinda has a ring to it," I smile.
