I watch carefully as the raindrops slide down the window. This is how I spent everyday, sitting in a cafe and writing in my journal. Yeah, I know, wow I'm so interesting. I didn't have much to do I was just a simple girl living in new york trying to find a place in this world. Before you ask, no, I don't believe in love. All it does is break, burn, and end. Men are so cruel sometimes, disgusting pigs thinking they can lure a girl in and expect them to just be their slave of some sort until they throw them away once they find a better girl. But I've finally trained myself to not fall into the hands of a flirt. Seems as if no one ever knows how to treat a girl anymore.
"Pumpkin spice latte for Poppy," I jerk my head toward the counter and slide myself out of the booth and make my way over to the coffee counter to recieve my favorite drink of the seaso-
"Oof, I'm so sorry I didn't mean to run into you I-," my eyes lock with emerald ones as I stand back up quickly nodding towards the clumsy curly headed boy to assure him it's fine.
My hands curl around the steaming coffee cup and I make my way back to the booth avoiding the many gazes shot towards me. Finally, I've been waiting all year to have a pumpkin spice latte.
Just as my lips meet the heated mug I feel a tap on my shoulder. Grumbling under my breath as I shift my position I find myself looking at the curly haired boy from before.
"Hiiiii I'm Harry, you don't mind if I take a seat do you? I'd love to meet a lovely girl like you."
