The submarine had now taken a land as they emerged from the icy water. The giant door opened revealing the team in snowsuits to keep them warm from cold weather. They do look pretty cool out there. It was time for their mission to be finished. Red was about to make his first step, but accidentally slipped and fell all the way down to the snowy ground, landing on his face. Garry and Leonard started to laugh at his clumsiness, but Garry accidentally slipped when he was just about to walk down and grabbed the collar of Leonard to stop his fall, though it only ended up pulling him along as they fell. Bomb laughed but suddenly slipped accidentally joining in along with Chuck when he called for him to be careful and instead slipped. Y/N sighed shaking her head and pulled Courtney and Silver up in the air while flying to keep them from slipping. After the boys fell, the three girls landed safely without problem while rolling their eyes.
The team noticed there's the volcano up ahead that popped out the giant ice ball.
"Okay, guys. Let's do this." Red said getting up.
"Here we go!" Bomb excitedly said.
"It's time for action." Y/N declared.
"We got this!" Silver exclaimed.
"We got an island to save!" Chuck added.
"Islands. We have two islands to save." Leonard corrected.
"Yeah. Let's not forget that." you said feeling bad that the birds only rely on the Bird Island but not Piggy Island.
Even though they're enemies they don't deserve to be homeless, sick, hungry, or worst dead. You noticed that your dad wasn't moving as he was frozen in terror.
"I can't do this! I made a terrible mistake." he told them.
"What are you talking about?" Red asked.
".....Zeta!"
"Who?" you asked.
"The leader of the eagles. The one who's been trying to destroy our islands. And...my ex-fiance.." Mighty Eagle looked down.
The team stared at him in disbelief and shock.
"Wait, what?!"
"Did you say 'fiance?'" Red repeated what he had just said.
"Fiance?" Courtney gasped.
"You're telling me that I have a almost mom?! And you're just telling us just now?!" Y/N shouted in anger.
"Better late than never..." Mighty Eagle nervously chuckled as he explained his story between him and Zeta.
"It was many years ago in the 1990's. She was the smartest girl in school, and I have a incredible sense of fashion.... It was love at first sight. She was the best thing that ever happened to me.... And since I wasn't ready to mate for life."
Y/N noticed him a look of regret.
"Naturally, I uh..........I...I abandoned her..." he said remembering the sad look on Zeta with big icy green eyes all full of tears from the bitter lips.
Sadness and betrayal. The rest gasped in shock.
"How could you leave her like that?" Silver gasped.
"Because I...am a coward.. Many of you didn't know that about me."
They didn't answer that since they already know he is a coward.
"I assumed she was heartbroken ever since. And it's all my fault."
"So, this is fiance we're talking about." Bomb said not getting it.
"I....can't...BELIEVE YOU, DAD!!! YOU'RE SUCH AN IDIOT AND A TOTAL *HOOOONK*! How could you hide this from me?! No wonder you never give me attention or visit me more often because you only care about yourself!!" Y/N screamed.
Leonard and Red were shocked with her outburst and her swearing.
"Y/N...please. I never meant to hurt you or keep this secret from you. And that's not true I do care about you and I love you as my daughter." Mighty Eagle tried to convince her and calm her down.
"Well, I don't know who I am anymore...!"
With that Y/N walked away without looking back. Mighty Eagle was ashamed for hurting her just like how he hurt Zeta.
"I...I gotta go home...." Mighty Eagle turned and flew away.
"...." Red said nothing knowing this will be hard for the dad and the daughter to take in.
The rest didn't say anything and looked back at Y/N who was farthest ahead of them. They quickly followed her as they made it to the base of the volcano. The team jumped to see you punched the rock making a dent hurting her wing for a bit. Red quickly shook it off while concerned with her sudden punch and took out his binoculars and looked through to see the eagle guards that Y/N had correctly guessed protecting Zeta's lair.
"Okay, gang. Listen up. This place is crawling with security as Y/N had guessed. But you guys follow me-" Red began to explain when he noticed everyone except you who is still angry and hurt giggled at him.
"Hey, what's going on?"
They gave each other the knowing look and giggled more but loudly. Leonard proudly revealed the big blue eagle costume with a crazed grin and eyes they had crafted. Enormous enough to fit all of them inside.
"Harvey!" he happily announced.
"Disguise?" Red and Y/N asked full of disbelief and shock.
"You...took the word that I said about disguise."
"Of course! With your brilliant idea this could help us!" Leonard smiled.
"Well, um...thank you... It is perfect." Y/N blushed.
"Super-lifelike disguise, right?" Bomb remarked.
"We thought we'd let you drive." Silver chimed in showing Red the inside of the suit filled with pedals, levers, and poles.
"And I'm gonna help you pedal!" Chuck excitedly said.
"So, you guys came up with this plan from Y/N's idea without me?" Red asked feeling offended.
"..Yes?" Chuck replied in guilt.
"But don't you think this is good? It really does help with best chance of getting past those guards and into the super weapon." Y/N quickly said trying not to let him take things seriously.
Red started to imagine his friends and his girlfriend leaving him with Harvey.
"Yeah, well, it's not gonna work." he said getting back into reality again.
"Red? Are you listening to yourself? This could be our best bet."
Chuck, Bomb, and Silver nodded in agreement, but that only made Red think worst that they're against him.
"Look, everyone on Bird Island is counting on me to-"
"Us. Everyone is counting on us, Red." Silver interrupted him.
"Yeah. We stick together and always have each other's back." you said.
"Fine. Whatever. So, your plan is to get into the super weapon with that?" he scoffed pointing at Harvey as Bomb defended the costume.
"Fine, fine! You know what? I'll just be up here saving the world. Just like I should've been doing this whole time!"
Red climbed up the rock but fell back down. He quickly climb back up trying not to embarrass himself. Y/N grew worried about him as she told the team.
"Guys, I gotta go with him and he might need some help. I just wanna thank you again for this amazing idea you guys made from me."
"You sure? We could use your help with the disguise." Leonard asked not wanting her to go with Red.
"Don't worry. I'll be fine. I believe in you guys."
"I'll come too. I think he has no experience in rock climbing." Silver joined in.
"Ok. Good luck you guys. We'll meet you by the super weapon." Y/N said.
The team nodded as they went their separate ways. Leonard looked back at Y/N again before putting on the costume. Silver and Y/N followed Red as he burrowed himself deep in the snow, staying hidden as he made his way to the base of the super weapon and popped out. He checked to see if he wasn't found.
"They didn't see us."
Red jumped and turned to see Silver and Y/N standing next to him.
"This isn't 'us' thing, Y/N, Silver! Go back with the team!"
"Red, if you're thinking that we're turning our back on you, stop overthinking. And maybe stop thinking about yourself and start thinking about us." Y/N sternly said making Red nervous.
"She's right. And is this a good time to talk about your feelings? You talk about your feelings to Y/N. Why not tell her?" Silver asked as they began climbing up the volcano.
Since the snow is starting, she can't fly if it's gonna add weight on her wings and she will have a hard time. So she climbed up.
"Yeah. Come on. Tell me."
"N-No! No.. Not a good time!" Red shook his head as he continued to climb up with Y/N and Silver following.
As they climb and climb, Red slipped but manage to grab on. Silver offered him her hand but he slapped it away.
"No! I don't need your help! I meant to slip."
"Red!" you scolded him as you guys kept on climbing.
