PAIGE;
"You and Jungkook finally kissed?!" Xavier shouted and dropped his half peeled orange on the table as it rolled towards the edge.
I grabbed his orange as it almost dropped to the sticky floor and placed it back into his hand only for it to roll off onto the table again.
Everyone who was in the cafeteria looked at us as I sighed and covered my face in pure embarrassment.
"Seriously, again?" I asked and looked up to him.
He just rolled his eyes with a smile forming on his face. He always acted so extra when it came to these situations.
"How was it?" He asked forgetting about his orange while planting his elbows on the table with his chin in his palms.
He truly looked like a dork in that position with a half peeled orange beside his arm.
At this point my face was bright red, Xavier laughed and smiled. I sighed and looked around.
The lunch bell hasn't rung yet so I had enough time to tell Xavier everything.
"It was... amazing" I breathed and covered my face.
He aww'd at my movements and pried my hands away from my face, his hands smelling like his forgotten snack.
"Tell me more" He demanded as I smiled, gladly.
I bit my lip trying to come up with the right words to express what happened, and boy did I find them quick.
"There was... untamed electricity coursing through his veins and it shocked me when he kissed me. But, my god, was it worth the pain" I smiled to myself and looked down to play with my fingers.
"When we separated, I buried my face in his chest and felt absolute bliss. It felt like there was fire within my bones, like my soul returned to the water and every part of me that came from a dead star was alive again"
"Then?" Xavier asked, sounding more interested than he should be.
"Then... after we both calmed down, Jungkook held me in his arms as we watched the sun disappear over the horizon and I've never felt more safe in my life than when I was with him in that moment" I looked up to Xavier who was smiling like I was telling him the best romance story he's ever heard.
Maybe he was, but we'll never know.
"So it was one of those kisses?" He asked while grabbing his orange and continued to peel it.
I nodded, immediately knowing what he was talking about.
"That one kiss you feel through your whole body as soon as your lips touch?" I asked as he nodded.
"Speaking of lover boy, he just entered" He spoke and smiled.
After awhile Jungkook walked up to the table, kissed my cheek and sat beside me. The whole lunch period we acted as normally as possible.
We didn't want our relationship to change anything and I couldn't be anymore happier.
—
The lunch period ended as Jungkook and I entered the library to find a whole freshman English class doing a research project.
Mrs. Evans walked up to us, "I'm sorry guys but they just started a new course and needed the library but as long as you guys stay quiet then you can stay" she said as we both nodded.
"Alright have fun" she said and walked back to helping students by the computers.
Jungkook and I walked to my table and sat down. I got out my book and began reading.
"Hey P, can you help me find a book for my art class. We have to write an essay on our favorite artist" He spoke up as I nodded and bookmarked my reading place.
"Who are we looking for?" I asked as we stood up.
"Robert Williams" Jungkook smiled, "He was an American painter best known for his oil paintings that looked like comics"
I smiled, Jungkook must like art a lot. The name also seems very familiar but I couldn't place my finger on it.
We began walking towards the back where the art section was. I noticed it looked and seemed untouched, I guess no one really visits this part of the library often.
I walked ahead but before I could turn the corner I felt Jungkook grab my belt hoops and turn me around before pulling me closer to him.
I softly yelped at the sudden move and looked at him. He was smiling as he held both sides of my waist and softly pushed me against the bookshelf.
He was looking down at me as I was trapped in his hold. It wasn't like I was complaining or anything, I was mostly shocked.
He brung his hand up from its grip on my waist and used his finger to move a strand of hair away from my face.
"I lied" Jungkook said and grazed the same finger down my cheek then smiled.
"So you don't need the book?" I asked and he shook his head in response still smiling.
"I already have the book, it was on the table. I thought you'd say something since you took a brief look at it" he smiled as I blushed.
I'm such an idiot. Now I remembered seeing the book. It was literally in front of me.
"Then why are we here?" I asked.
"Well I wanted to get you alone. I mean the library is full of freshman" he said as I giggled.
"You're so cute" he said and my face turned a deeper shade of red.
"I know" I joked as his grin grew wider.
"Can I kiss you?" He asked as my heart fluttered.
"Yes" I replied.
Jungkook cupped my cheeks in his hands and looked down to my lips. He licked his own before leaning down and softly kissed me.
He was driving me insane.
The kiss lasted for a few seconds and I was in heaven. The same shock traveled through my body and I smiled against him.
As we pulled away he leaned his forehead against mine and sighed happily.
"My brother wants to throw me a small birthday party tomorrow and I want you to come. So, can you?" He asked as he caressed my skin with his thumb.
"I wouldn't miss it for the world" I smiled as he bit his bottom lip and leaned down to kiss me again.
