It's amazing how much your life can change.
Your appearance changes, your hobbies, likes and dislikes all change. How about the people you know and love? You find new friends, new people to live with, new people to trust.
I had found Logan, Hesh, Keegan, Merrick, and Kick. Something had led us to each other and I had yet to figure it out. But it didn't matter, because what it was that made us meet made a good choice. Without them, I didn't know where I would be. Probably dead with the thousands of others from the war. But maybe I wouldn't be. Maybe I would be part of Rorke's army. My mother and father were both Ghosts. I would have ended up meeting the Ghosts and Rorke anyways.
Today, I am proud to say, I'm getting married to the best man in the whole wide world. From there, I have no idea what's going to happen.

"Hair, face, nails," the woman named Macy, my stylist, was muttering. "You're going to need a LOT of work."
"W-what?" I wondered as she turned me around in the black chair.
"Before your wedding, you must be absolutely perfect!" the lady said happily. "I'm here to make sure of that."
"My wedding isn't until tomorrow," I muttered.
"We can get started anyways," Macy started combing through my hair.
I had made three friends over the last few weeks since Keegan proposed. Brianna, who had blonde hair and blue eyes, was in charge of planning the wedding and helping me with the dress. Clarrisa helped Macy and Lilly set up the decorations, chairs, dance floor, cake, and everything else like that. For the first time, I had people who seemed to care for me who weren't a Ghost or part of a war. Brianna was like a sister to me already and Lilly and Clarrisa were almost like that.
"I got your dress fitted," Brianna came to show me a few pictures.
"Thank you!" I smiled. "I can't wait to go try it on."
"We should do that today," Brianna glanced at Macy. "And wait on the styling."
Sighing, Macy let go of my hair and then let me get up. "Fine. Just be back soon enough so that I can get my girls and we can get you partially ready."
"Okay," Brianna and I both said and then went into another room to go look at the dress I had chosen.
It was stunning. I myself, had fallen in love with it. The shoulders seemed to be made of white flowers. The flowers came across the front of my chest where the dress made curves for my breasts. At the bottom of the dress, there were flowers and plants again, but this time they came together and made a netting-type fabric that came down to the slight train.
As Brianna helped me get into the dress, I couldn't help but smile. If I had ever said that my life would never be amazing or good again after the war, I took it back. This was going to be amazing.
"Don't forget the flowers!" Lilly jumped in front of me, stuffed pink and white flowers into my hands, then backed up.
The click of a camera made me smile. I had to get used to smiling a lot with a photographer taking pictures during the wedding.
"Can I take Hailey back now? I need to practice hairstyles on her," Macy peeked her head in.
"Fine," Brianna sighed and helped me take the dress off.
When I walked into the styling room, I saw Clarrisa had come in. She had her arms crossed and was examining the different pictures set on a counter.
"Hey," I shoved her and she smiled slightly at me.
"Hello."
"Come sit down, Hailey," Macy ordered.
After sitting down, I felt Macy running her fingers through my soft, silky hair. I felt her fingers moving around as she did different hairstyles. Macy held the pictures, turned me, and showed me my hair when I was done. I ended up picking a hairstyle with curls with a clip holding it together. My hair touched just between my shoulder blades and I smiled when I looked at my hair.
"I love it," I stood up and hugged Macy. "You're the best!"
"Yeah, yeah. I'm just doing my job," Macy hugged me back.
I got a manicure, pedicure, my eyebrows touched up, and a few other things changed before Macy was satisfied. All we had to do in the morning was dress me up, put on my make-up, and do my hair. We planned a few more things out before I was escorted to my bedroom.
After dinner and a shower, Macy gave me nice, silk red pajamas to sleep in- she said it would be good for my skin. She sat with me for ten minutes after putting green avocado stuff on my face and cucumbers over my eyes.
"How long have you known Keegan for?" Macy asked while making shuffling noises in the bathroom.
"About two years," I replied, trying to not move my lips.
"Ah," Macy walked out and placed a towel over my face. "Have guys, uh, done it yet?"
"Why are you asking-"
"I know it's not my business, but most people wait more like three years before they marry. I just figured you had sex and wanted to be married if you had a child," Macy pulled the cucumbers off my eyes.
"No, we haven't," I sat up. "Sometimes, if you love the person and it's meant to be, you can married sooner. There's no law that says you can't."
"True," Macy said as she threw the towel into my laundry basket.
"Why can't I see Keegan?" I questioned. "It's been two days."
"Not until the wedding," Macy seemed to scold me.
"Fine," I muttered and then rested back against the pillows.
"Get your beauty sleep," Macy ordered. "Goodnight."
As she shut off the light and the door, I smiled to myself. Tomorrow was going to be perfect.
~~~
"Shit," Macy muttered, "where's the hair piece?"
"Here," Lilly handed Macy something.
I kept my eyes closed as I was told to. "Are you done yet?"
"Hang on!" Macy hissed. "Alright, open."
As I opened my eyes, I practically started crying. The dress matched perfect with the curls that tickled the open part of my back. Looking closer at the curls, I realized they were slightly weaved and braided together. My hands trembled with...well, awe, really and I smiled.
"You look stunning," Macy whispered.
"Beautiful," Brianna, Lilly, and Clarissa agreed.
My eyes had a gold, black, and bronze coloring for eye shadow and the mascara was light, but noticeable. I had requested no lip gloss or lipstick from Macy. The last thing Keegan wanted was pink or red painted onto his lips after our kiss. I wore cover-up for the slight blemishes.
"You will start walking down the asile in ten minutes," Brianna said.
"Who's going to be next to me?" I blinked.
"Um," Brianna looked down at a clipboard. "We figured that since there was no father or close male guardian, you would walk alone."
"Okay," I breathed.
"Lilly, you will be walking with David. Clarrisa, you will be with Kick. I'm going to be walking with Logan," Brianna explained.
I looked around at my three bridesmaids. They wore a dark, glossy purple. I knew Logan, Kick, and Hesh were going to wear black tuxedos, but I had yet to figure out what color Keegan was going to wear. I smiled to myself when I imagined both of us in white. Only Keegan would do something that ridiculous.
"Are you ready?" Macy looked at me.
Taking a deep breath, I nodded. "Yeah."
The four girls smiled and then opened the tent curtain to walk. Peeking, I watched Logan and Brianna met each other a ways before the asile, which was out in a field. Lilly met up with Hesh, and then Clarrisa linked arms with Kick. My heart was pounding loudly inside my chest when I saw Keegan waiting for me.
Macy held the curtain open for me and then smiled.
My gazed was blinded by the sun, but then focused to see the white petals making an asile for me. Taking a few breaths, I knew my nerves were starting to get to me.
My hands started shaking.
