If you watch anime and you don't know what to watch next. Here are some shows. Snow White with red hair, Blue exorcist, Fairytail, my hero academia, Orion host club, assassination classroom, Fruits basket (2019 verson). There is a website called animekisa.com where you can watch these shows. typing in the name doesn't work so try typing in one part of the word. Fairytail is a great show and there are alot of seasons so it's great for quarantine.

Word count-2019 (at least it isn't 2020 so this chapter can't be that bad)

I checked my texts again. He never said the time, idiot. I've been waiting half an hour. I sat down on a bench nearby. I was just about to call him about being late, (It's ironic that I'm here first) when I saw him in the distance waving to a girl with brown hair. The girl wasn't facing me so I couldn't see her face. Maybe that's Nick's girlfriend.

Nick looked around the park a little before he saw me. I waved at him angrily. He walked over slowly, I bet it was just to annoy me further. While he was walking (slowly) over he spun in a circle 'observing' his surroundings, he walked heel to toe, and did a little bit of the cotton eye Joe. (It was supposed to rhyme) After a minute or two he was finally finished and walked the rest of the way over to me normally.

"So, was that your girlfriend?" I pointed over his shoulder from the direction he came from.

"Wouldn't you like to know," He joked.

"Yes, that's why I asked you. Stop keeping secrets from me. The one with the bakery was a nice surprise, but I don't like all the secrets. And I hate it when you lie. Lying is a terrible thing, and I know when you do it so don't even try getting out of this with a lie," I scolded. Nick sat down next to me on the bench. Since he was within arms reach, I hit him for taking so long to get over here.

"I'm not going to lie," He sighed, "I asked you to come here... because I wanted to tell you who my girlfriend is. I didn't want to tell you because I knew you would get upset. She wants to meet my parents soon, and it'd be better for you to know so you can brace yourself when you see her." Nick brushed his straight black hair with his fingers.

"Well, I'm sure she is an amazing girl, that's nice, and kind, and honest. Honesty is what can make or break any relationship," I glance at him innocently, not so suddenly hinting at him to not lie or try to get out of telling me.

I looked to the little kids who were playing ball with their friends. Ignorance is bliss for little kids. They still believe in the stories that their parents told them. Some lies and others sugar coated.

"The thing is, my girlfriend is..." He quietly murmured her name.

"I'm sorry, but I couldn't hear that. Could you repeat that? Maybe a little louder this time so I can actually hear it."

He cleared his throat, "LILA! My girlfriend is Lila." I nearly fell off the bench.

I started laughing hysterically. Some people looked over at me like I was crazy. I wiped the tears of laughter in the corners of my eyes, "You're... You're joking, right?" He looked away.

I sat up straight and got serious, "Nick. You know what I was saying about your girlfriend and how she must be a nice, kind, honest person?" He nodded slowly. "Yeah, so forget all of that. She is the most untrustworthy, dishonest, jerkiest person in the history of people." I got up and started pacing and panicking. What lies has she told him already? What will she do when we meet again? What if she turns my friends against me? What if they get married? (That escalated quickly) What if they have kids? What if they grow up to be terrible people? What if they get arrested? What if she turns Nick against me? What if he doesn't want to talk to me anymore because of her? What if... she breaks his heart?

I went into a fetal position. I gripped my head. What if's kept circling around in my head.

Nick shook my shoulders, pulling me out of my trance, "Marinette. Marinette! Calm down. This is why I took so long to tell you. I know you have... history with her, but she is my girlfriend now. And she is an amazing person." He stared off into space for a few moments, no doubt thinking of her.

I stood up, "I can't believe it. She's a terrible person. Do me a favor and don't invite her to see me. If we are hanging out, don't invite her." I walked away without saying goodbye. I heard him sigh as I left. I can't tell if it was because I was upset and he was frustrated, or if he just missed his girlfriend.

Why doesn't Nick understand. He knows of my past troubles with her. How did he act towards her when he first saw her again? I pulled at my blue pigtails. Maybe I could help find the Trix. It's been a few days since we got here and we haven't found a trace of them. I already met Chat Noir. I just need to gain his trust. I also need to meet Ladybug. Once I get back to the hotel maybe I could do some research of my own. I got lost in my thoughts and tripped over... nothing. I stumbled (Shout-out for Jules A.K.A. AquariousFTW who helped me figure out what word to put there and for helping me edit) into the street, and luckily caught myself before I face planted. At least one thing is going right today.

I heard a sound that was like tires screeching. I think I spoke too soon. I turned my head towards the noise only to find a car headed my way trying to swerve out of the way. There were police cars behind them. Everything felt like it was in slow motion. I braced myself with my arms. I willed myself to keep my eyes open so I could see the person driving, I'm pretty sure this is going to be a hit and run situation, but at least I'll know what they look like. Well, that's if I don't get amnesia. I waited for the terrible impact that was going to happen in a few seconds...

Except, nothing happened. Chat Noir appeared and threw his staff between a traffic light and a fire hydrant. (fun fact, there is only one stop sign in all of Paris. Look it up just in case because I'm wrong 90% of the time. That could also be wrong, I could be right more often than not.) The car had bent the staff to the point where it was only a few inches from me. I let out a breath I didn't know I was holding.

After the car had stopped the staff shrunk down to it's normal size. The person who was driving the car got out and started to make a run for it. Chat Noir caught the person before they could reach the park. The police were already shooing people away from the car the guy had almost run me over with. Some of the police were searching the car and others were going over to arrest the guy that Chat Noir had stopped.

Two officers came over to check if I was alright. I talked to them a little while before they left to meet up with their co-workers.

Chat Noir came over after talking to a few other police officers. I think one of them is Rogger, Sabrina's dad. Chloe told me about him for some reason, I spaced out while she was talking.

"Are you okay?" He asked.

I nodded, "Yeah, I'm okay. Almost died today, but who hasn't. Re-thought my life. But thanks to you I'm okay. So thanks for that."

We stood in an uncomfortable silence for a few seconds. "Well, you know we should stop meeting like this." He laughed awkwardly. I can't think of anything to say. I need to gain his trust so that we can defeat the Trix. How can I do that if I can't even think of anything to say! I sighed. "You should be more careful. I might have said this before, but you should be. Last time we ran into each other you nearly drowned," He scolded.

"Hey, almost drowning wasn't my fault," I pointed out. "And besides, I didn't see the car when I started to cross the street."

"I know a way, so you don't almost die on your way home. Where do you live?" He grinned.

I gave him my answer slowly, not really sure what he was getting at, "I'm staying at Le Grand Paris. Why'd you ask?"

"Because I'm taking you there." He scooped me up in bridal style.

"Hey, Hey, Hey, Wait a minute! I didn't agree to this." I said anxiously. "Can you put me down. I'd like my feet to not leave the ground. You know, I like not falling to my death, and I don't want to ruin that perfect streak."

"Are you afraid of heights? I'm not going to drop you"

"No, I'm afraid of falling to my death. And you can't be so certain that you aren't going to drop me."

"Okay, well, don't look down. And hold on tight." I glared at him for a brief moment before he took off into the air with his baton. I clung on tight to Chat Noir and squeezed my eyes shut. I know, I know, I shouldn't be scared because I'm a fairy and I can fly, but having someone carry me through Paris on building tops hits differently than flying.

After a little while I finally opened my eyes. I looked over the breathtaking sight of Paris from this perspective. I could see the Eiffel tower, Notre Dame, every one walking, families, friends, Andre and his 'magic' ice cream cart.

We landed on the balcony of my room and he finally put me down. I looked away from him. "Thanks for the ride," I muttered.

He laughed, "I told you I wasn't going to drop you!" He turned around and got out his baton.

He was just about to leave when I grabbed onto his tail. "Wait," he turned back around to look at me. "How did you know which room was mine?"

His face went beet red in a matter of seconds, "Well, ha, you see, um well." He rubbed the back of his neck, "Well, I otta get going, BYE! See you around." He jumped off the balcony before I could stop him, or question him more. He extended his baton to launch himself further.

I think that's progress, right? I'm going to ask to sleep with Stella for a few nights.

I have been working on this chapter for a month or two, we had smth going on, and we didn't know when it was going to be scheduled. Also I have started going to bed at like 3 am. I am working on this rn at 2:50. Don't judge me.

Also I found this funny writing prompt/dialogue on pinterest so this. So I'm just putting this as a blooper kind of thing.

Nick's POV

I paced my room talking on the phone with Marinette. (His room is where Marinettes was in the show.)

"What do you want to do something like that for? No, that's mean and dumb! NO! WAIT! Wait! I'm sorry! WAIT, DON'T HANG UP!"

Click

"I SAID DON'T HANG UP," I yelled into the phone even though she hung up. I threw my phone onto my bed. I walked away from my phone, I ran my fingers through my hair and turned back to face it. "DANG IT MARINETTE, I TOLD YOU NOT TO HANG UP!" I yelled at my phone. It just sat there. It seemed like it was mocking me.

Adrien popped his head up from the hatch that led to my room from downstairs. "Hey, what was that about?" He climbed up the rest of the way holding a croissant and sat down in a bean bag nearby.

"She hung up." I said bitterly.

Adrien pointed the croissant at me, "Wouldn't have guessed." And took a bite out of it.
