The next morning I woke up did my normal routine of getting dressed, putting my makeup on, doing my hair, putting my bow and gloves on.
I looked at myself in the mirror once again. The more I looked the less I could comprehend that the girl looking back was me.
I still hasn't seen Beth, I guessed she was in her room maybe or with Michael. I luckily hadn't seen him either. This house was so big it was easy to hid away from everyone else.
Lucy spent the rest day with Calum yesterday in her room. I wanted to check in on her but I didn't think I could face her. It was easier to pretend everything was okay when I was alone.
I made breakfast all by my self again, I left two trays out for Michael and Calum and I put Ashton's and Luke's food on one tray and carried it to Ashton's room.
It felt like if I could keep myself busy I could make time go by faster. I couldn't give myself time to think, I couldn't face the reality.
This had never happened to me before, I had never been so stuck inside my own mind unable to escape in any way. Physically or mentally.
I knocked and waited to be told to come in, "You may enter" Ashton said in a awful British accent.
My hands trembled as I placed the tray on the bed. I wasn't angry at them, I couldn't feel anything.
"Is this all for me ?" Ashton asked looking at the tray in front of him.
"No half is for Luke, I can't carry two tray and I thought it would be better. I don't know I'm sorry" I sighed thinking I had done something wrong. I had simply put the food together without thinking.
"Why are you apologizing it's fine, thank you" Ashton moved the tray closer to him as he sat up. "Me and Luke need to get some business done today. We're going to talk to Michael and Calum and sort this out"
I started to think about what that could entail, I couldn't find the words to describe the things I imagined in my mind. Would the rest of us be safe.
"I need clothes. You know what to get and can you get Luke some clothes too" Ashton said climbing out his bed walking to his bathroom to have a shower. "Luke thinks he is all punk rock so he will want all black"
"Shut up and go wash" Luke rolled his eyes, "Can you get me some black jeans. Grab any top and just a hoodie if its cold outside. Wait you can't check the weather, grab me a hoodie anyway. My wardrobe is super simple you'll find everything"
I walked into Ashton's wardrobe and found him some clothes, I laid them on a chair where I normally put them. I couldn't find any words to say to Luke so I simply walked out and went to Luke's room to find him clothes
After a few minutes I finally found what I needed and took them back to Ashton's room. His wardrobe was anything but simple.
As I stood in Lukes room I thought about Poppy and how she should be here not me. I tried to push those thoughts out my mind.
Ashton was still in the shower and Luke was still eating on the bed, I laid out Luke's clothes next to Ashton's on chair.
"Want some ?" Luke asked waving a pancake in the air.
"No thank you" I replied tidying Ashton's room up, finding sweet wrappers left from yesterday.
"You never eat" Luke muttered stuffing his face "You should you're to thin, that dress is becoming too big for you and I swear it did when you got here"
"It was always too big" I lied. I felt uncomfortable, I couldn't really explain that it's hard to build up an appetite when you've been abducted and kept as a slave.
I had felt sick since the moment I arrived, the events of yesterday left me with a lot but an appetite wasn't one of them.
"Tell Ashton to get to new ones then" he shrugged acting like it was no big deal "We did buy them for you, we can buy more. Also I know they fit when you first came, don't bullshit"
I didn't reply, out of everything going on my dress being a little baggy didn't bother me that much. Luke finished the last of the food so I moved the tray and placed it on a table near the door while I made Ashtons side of the bed.
"We're not bad people you know" Luke said sadly, he seamed more like he was trying to convince himself more than me.
The comment took my by surprise. I didn't know what to say. I couldn't argue back as much as I wanted to but I also definitely couldn't agree. Good people don't have multiple dead bodies on their hands.
I quickly walked to the door, grabbing the empty tray as I left. I turned to look at Luke, I could see he wanted me to reply to him but I had nothing to say that he would want to hear.
I walked to the kitchen and saw that the two trays were still on the side, I binned the food and clean away the trays.
I went back to Ashton room, I walked in forgetting to knock, Ashton and Michael were sat on the bed.
"Oh Ava, I didn't hear you knock" Ashton said getting up and walking to his wash bin "Here can you clean these, me and Michael are going out today"
"Catching ourselves a new doll" Michael said sarcastically, with his head in the palms of him hands. I almost dropped to my knees, internally I just screamed.
I think my face said what I didn't in that moment, Ashton walked over and held my shoulders, he looked into my eyes. "We aren't bad people Ava. I really hope one day you won't see us as monsters"
"I- i-" I tried to talk but I couldn't find the words to say how I felt especially not while his hands were on my body.
Good people don't kidnap girls.
I could feel my eye beginning to water, I tried to hide my quickened breath. I didn't want to show how much these men were killing me inside.
"Go do the washing Ava" Ashton ordered softly "We will be back later"
"with Jesse" Michael added coldly.
Hearing her name, made her a real. She currently was just a normal girl, her life was about to change for a absolute worst and I couldn't do anything to stop them.
"Do you have to ? I mean I could look after Luke " I pleased I had to try stop this from happening. I couldn't hold my tears in "You don't even seam like you want to do this. You say you're not bad people. Please, please just don't do this"
"That't bot how it works Ava, don't argue with me" Ashton said sternly but he had a look of sympathy in his eyes.
"Good people wouldn't do this" I exclaimed without thinking, I walked out the room ignoring Ashton calling my name.
I knew I was playing with fire arguing. I knew I could be the next rag doll to be replaced but I didn't care. This wasn't a life.
I put a quick wash on of Ashton's clothes, I could feel myself getting choked up. I couldn't hold back this overwhelming sadness. It made me feel powerless, I was powerless.
As I walked by Beth's room I heard my name being said, I stood behind the door and listened.
"You'll kill us all eventually wont you" Beth spoke.
"We're not killers, I'm not a killer" Michael pleaded, he didn't seam angry at Beth surprising after what she had just said.
"Just kill me now and replace me with another girl. You've done it so many times before, why not do it to me"
"No. You know I wouldn't let anyone hurt you Beth" Michaels hard and mean exterior was gone, it was hard to believe he could ever be so protective to anyone but himself.
"No only you get to hurt me" I turned away feeling like I was intruding. "Why cant you just end this stupid game. Don't go get another girl please, please don't"
Michael went to speak but Beth cut him off continuing to plead with him.
I quickly walked down the hall to my room, I shut myself in my wardrobe, I laid down on the sofa. I just wanted to hide away for a while.
Beth was right, I was right. The only way out of here was death.

I had fallen asleep in my closet. I woke up when someone opened the door ran in, slamming the door closed behind them. I frozen immediately scared for my life.
They didn't notice me laid on the sofa as it was dark. She dropped to the floor and let a sob leave her mouth. I let out a sign of relief knowing a wasn't about to meet my end but that relief was replaced with dread as soon as I realised this must be the new rag doll.
"Hello" I whispered not wanting to frighten her. Her head snapped up as she stood up. She looked around the room and her hand fumbled around looking for the door knob. I could see just how terrified she was.
"I won't hurt you, I'm like you" I reassured her, sitting up slowly "Im a rag doll"
"They kidnapped you too ?" She asked with her back to the wall and hand still firmly on the door knob.
"Yes, they kidnapped me too. I am Ashton's rag doll. Are you Jesse?"
"I'm Jesse yeah, who's Ashton" She finally let go of the door knob stepping away for the door, closer to me.
"He is one of the four boys who kidnapped you" I wasn't sure how long she had been here or what she has been told. Clearly she had gotten away from them somehow, they must have been looking for her.
"Four ?? There are four of them. Am I going to be rag doll ? What does that even mean" she started to cry confused by everything.
I nodded sympathetically and I patted the floor next to me, she came over and sat down.
Jesse was really pretty she had natural looking darkish blonde hair and big green eyes. She was still holding a Starbucks cup, I couldn't break my eyes from it.
"Didn't all four of them kidnap you ?" I asked curiously. I then realised I did remember being kidnapped myself so maybe she just forgot.
"No there was two, no three. I don't know I just want to go home" She cried finally dropping the empty cup to the floor. I didn't know how to react.
I was sure that they had all gone but Calum must have not taken part. He had spent all him time with Lucy recently, I think he must have been growing a conscious.
"I know, me too" I wished I didn't have to be the one to introduce Jesse to her new reality "What happened, do you remember?"
"Those guys took me when I was walking back from Starbucks. I was just walking and suddenly this guy pushed my into the back seat of a car. I tried to fight but they quickly tapped up my arms and tied my legs together. They brought me here and I managed to run out one of their arms as soon as they untied me and well I ran into here" she explained "Can you help me escape, I cant stay here please"
"I'm really sorry this happened to you too Jesse" I glanced up to stop myself from crying but as I did I saw the time "Shit I've over slept, I have to make dinner or I will be in trouble"
"Don't leave me" she pleaded.
"I have to go and you have to come with me" I felt awful as soon as I said it. I knew I should try comfort her but I was more scared of doing something wrong than I had ever been.
"I'm not going back to them monsters. we need to get out" she started to panicking, I sympathised so much but the fear was too overwhelming.
"There's no way out" I could see why Lucy and Beth were so honest with me when I first arrived. It was hopeless and I couldn't bring myself to give her fault hope "Come on, you will be in less trouble if you come now"
I knew they would be mad, I hoped they wouldn't hurt her for this but the longer we waited the worse it would be. I kept reminding myself that I had to be harsh to be kind, she needed to hear the truth.
I took her hand as she cried, I smiled as reassuring as I could. Slowly she followed me out my wardrobe and out my room, I went to the living room first to see if the boys were there and unfortunately they were.
"Hi" I quietly said trying to get their attention, I took a deep breath as Micheal and Ashtons intimidating eyes turned to look at me.
"Ava where have you been ? You didn't make lunch and I could find you" Ashton replied standing out his chair. It took me a second to process what he way saying to me.
I forgot that I hadn't made lunch and started to worried.
"I was worried" Ashton whispered walking toward me, I flinched closing my eyes put of fear. Ashton stopped in front of me before taking me into a warming hug
"Oh" I was shocked I put one arm round Ashton without thinking. He was a worried about me and not angry. I couldn't believe it "I fell asleep in my wardrobe"
"I was worried when I checked you room I couldn't see you. We didn't know where you had gone" he let me go and sat down. I realised surely the concern wasn't for me but himself if I had managed to escape
"I thought you'd done something" He spoke so quietly I could hardly hear him. It took me by surprise that maybe the concern was genuine.
"Have you seen a new girl at all" he continued snapping me out my thoughts.
"Umm, Jesse come in" I said walking out the door taking Jesses hand again and leading her in.
"She was scared, please don't be mad at her"
"Jesse" Luke said getting up and walking over,
"Why did you run away?"
We all turned and looked at Luke, even the boys knew it was obviously because scared. It didn't take much to figure out.
"Jesse I know you're scared, I'm not going to hurt you I promise, I promise I won't ever touch you" Luke took a a deep breath "Please just stick to the rules. Ava can you please look after Jesse and take her to Pop- her room and explain. It's been a long day why don't you two just go to bed"
I looked over to Ashton, I knew better than to follow the orders of someone who wasn't him.
"Ava just go to bed" Ashton whispered he looks like he had tear in his eyes. The way they were acting was very different to the men who laughed and watched films yesterday. Maybe reality was hard for them to face as well.
Micheal couldn't even look at us. They all seamed remorseful although they had chosen to do this again, as they had many times before.
I didn't know what to say so I just took Jesse's hand and lead her to her new bedroom.
