No respawning. Respawn only works during Demise

It had been months since the Jangler had been found out. But the Jangler wasn't that much of a bad guy at all. He gave cookies to everyone in the server, although maybe putting them up on Sherlock Grian's office was a bit much. Of course, everyone knows that the Jangler was really Scar, he's a good guy.
But. . . .
No more good deeds from the Jangler today. . .
Mumbo was at Hermitland, making a redstone contraption for Demise. Of course, still looks dead. And maybe smells dead too. He was under the build, working out the redstone for the colour changing beacon.
Mumbo got the sudden feeling of being watched. How can that be? He was the only one in Hermitland. He shrugged off the feeling and continued his redstone. His very, very confusing redstone. Not even a minute later, water was splashed above him, breaking the redstone he had done.
"What?! Who did this?" Mumbo quickly headed back above ground, of course getting rid of the water first. He buckled on his elytra and flew around the funland. No one else was with him there. Or so he thought.
He flew back to the Saturator, only to find that the beacon had been stolen. "Oh my god." He checked all his shulkers and chests. He swore he crafted an extra just in case he lost the first one. That extra was gone to.
That's when he heard it. The most menacing, terrifying cackle he's ever heard. He turned around, no one. He checked the mini games, no one. He checked under the water, no one. He scratched his head. Maybe he was just hearing things. Or not. He went back to the Saturator and saw a sign.

Mumbo was terrified. He knew Scar wouldn't do that, he was too nice. He quickly took out his communicator.
MumboJumbo: Guys! I was working on some redstone and then someone threw a water bucket onto it
MumboJumbo: They even took the beacons I was using!
Grian: Are you sure it wasn't a glitch because of Area 77's cursed portal?
Docm77: But I didn't do anything with it??
MumboJumbo: No!
MumboJumbo: They put a sign on the contraption
Keralis1: Yo why are my notifs blowing up?
MumboJumbo: Apparently I've been Jangled!
Docm77: Wait isn't the Jangler Scar?
GoodTimeWithScar: I didn't even see you today
Grian: New rule thanks to this. Any deaths from the Jangler do not count

Iskall and Xisuma were in the end, end-busting. They had just found another end city and ship. They headed back through the end portal, back at their bases, which means they went their separate ways. Iskall couldn't see it, but he could definitely tell something was different.
He quickly stored the loot he had gotten from the end before heading to the portal to the nether. He didn't go through just yet. There was a lectern with a book on it, right in front of the portal.
Iskall had a gut feeling, telling him to not read it. It was hard to resist. Curiosity overcame him, but he knew he would regret it. He took a look at the book.

The ground beneath him broke. He immediately fell through. It wasn't a big drop, so he didn't die. Yet.
Iskall85 was slain by Zombie
A pit full of zombies.
"How?" He went onto his communicator.
Grian: OH
Docm77: Wait does that mean I win?
Iskall85: I died at my base
Iskall85: How??
Renthedog: Isn't your base in the Mooshroom biome??
Grian: Iskall, were you Jangled?
MumboJumbo: He got Jangled too??
Iskall85: I mean according to the book yes??
Docm77: So I didn't win? :(
Iskall85: I'm still on the alive team, right?

Grian flew over to the Baker Street building. A new case on his hands. If Scar wasn't the Jangler now, then who is?
He pressed the doorbell, enjoying every bit of it. It was at that last note, where he felt major regret. But it was too late. Down. Front. Side. Back. And up. . . The water elevator was trapped with pufferfish.
