This book will not solely focus on romance. The focus of friendships, survivor's guilt, triggers, emotional abuse, toxic households, isolation and family will heavily contribute to this story; if that becomes a turn-off for you, then you are allowed to leave. However, don't let it intimidate you from reading stories outside of your comfort zone as this story will be crafting out flesh-out three dimensional characters, how escaping an abusive household isn't as easy as it sounds, the internal victim-blaming and the positive aspect of the foster system. Please give it a chance.
Thank you.
PSA: You may imagine my characters to your desire; but do not whitewash my characters.
