**Ch. 66 My Turn**
**Edward’s POV**
I stood there and watched as Bella disappeared through her garage before hearing her leave. I sighed and made my way toward the door. “Where are you going?” Emmett asked. “I’m going home we all are so let’s go so I can lock up the house now.” I said holding the do open for the others. “But we were supposed to have a sleep over and all get ready for tomorrow.” Alice whined. “Okay and you can still do all of that at our house now let’s go.” I said firmly. I could feel my teeth starting to grow; hmm maybe they were connected to my emotion and grew when I was getting upset. I have to tell Bella this later when I see her. The rest finally got out of the house and I locked the door. We watched as Charlie left with Seth and Leah before I turned towards the others before running towards the house.
When I got there I went up into my room and changed into some lounge pants and a t-shirt before heading downstairs just as the others arrive. “So Edward how have you been since we haven’t talked in a while?” Ben asked and I just smirked at him. “I have been great man, are you excited about prom tomorrow?” I asked him. “No I really don’t care either way about it I just knew that my Angie wanted to go so I am going to suffer in silence for her.” He said right before being hit upside the head by Angela. “I am so glad that you put my happiness under your suffering Ben.” She said sarcastically. “If you happy than why did you hit me?” he asked rubbing his head. “I swear you and Emmett have been hanging out to much.” I said laughing.
The others walked in with the bags and sat down in the living room. “Do you have everything ready for prom Edward what kind of dress did Bella pick out. I bet it is beautiful.” Esme said. “Actually Bella and I aren’t going to the prom.” I said and I swear even with two human in the house you could hear a fucking pin drop it was that quiet right before all hell broke loose. “What do you mean she isn’t going to prom?!” Alice screeched. “I meant exactly what I have said. Bella decided that she would go to senior prom but refuses to go to junior prom so we are going to go on a date of her choosing tomorrow.” I explained. “Does Charlie know about this?” Alice asked. “I doubt it since she just started talking to any of you guys again and even if he did it isn’t his choice to make her go to prom or not.” I told her before turning toward the others ignoring Alice for the time being. “So what all did ya’ll have planned for tomorrow?” I asked them. “Well us girls are going to go to Seattle in the morning and hit up the spa for hair and nails. Then, we will meet the boys in Port Angeles for dinner before heading to the school for prom. After that we are going to crash here now I guess since I don’t think you and Bella will be back ‘til the following day.” Rosalie explained.
I nodded taking everything she has said. “I really don’t know what we plan to do but I’ll make sure to take pictures because I have a feeling that tomorrow will be very interesting to say the least.” I told her just as I heard growling outside. I turned my head and looked toward the door before getting up. “Where are you going?” Carlisle asked. “There is something outside.” I said as I went to the front door. I wasn’t expecting to be grabbed and flung off the porch. I snarled standing up. “This is breaking the fucking treaty, so you better have a good fucking excuse for being here dogs?” I growled. By this time the others were outside to. “We came for our pack mates?” Sam said in his alpha voice. “That doesn’t work on me mutt. I am not one of your followers as for your pack mates it seems like you have them with you.” I hissed. “Give us Leah and Seth you leech!” Jacob growled in his thoughts. “Do you honestly believe that either one of them would come back to you after what you have done to Leah. Seth is very loyal to the people he cares about and when you hurt his sister his loyalty shifted from you to us, so like I said you have you pack mates with you and now you need to leave.” I explained.
Carlisle walked over to me. “What is going on son?” he asked. “They come for Leah and Seth but they can't have them.” I told him just as a thought hit Sam. “We got the bitch. She was running laps at the high school we were able to knock her out before tying her up to a tree a few feet inside the woods from the tracks.” I think it was Paul voice that said that and all I saw was red. I roared so loud that it probably woke the whole town but I didn’t care I was out for blood. “What the fuck…” Sam thought but I didn’t care I was running towards the school.
**Carlisle's POV**
Something was wrong and whatever it was wasn’t going to end well for whoever Edward was after. I saw a few wolves take after him which Sam stopped them as he went into the woods. I turned to my family. “Esme stay with Angela and Ben. Laurent, Rosalie and Jasper follow and see what is going on. The rest of us will follow when we can.” I told them and they ran off before Sam came back in his human form. “What is wrong with Edward? Why does he have fangs?” he asked urgently just as a few wolves howled in pain. “The better question is what did he hear in your head that set him off?” I shot back I was past being polite one of my children could be in danger. “I didn’t say anything to him I wasn’t even thinking anything at the time.” He growled as the other wolves behind him collapsed to the ground whining now.
I looked at him in the eye before speaking. “Then who was thinking something and what were they thinking?” I asked, but he looked reluctant to share. Just than Charlie came running into the front yard. He looked murderous and I had to admit that I was scared myself; since I have never seen him look like this before I'm just glad it was directed at Sam and not me. He looked like he was about to pounce but I cut him off. “Charlie what are you doing here?” I asked. “I am going to fucking kill him before I go down to la push and take care of the elders this shit has gone on for too long.” Charlie snarled never taking his eyes off of Sam. “Charlie what is going on?!” I snapped and he finally looked at me before panic set in. “Holy shit he is going to kill them Carlisle you need to get to him now!!” Charlie started to shout pushing me towards the trees.
I was so confused. Who was going to kill who? “What are you talking about Charlie who is going to kill who here?” Emmett asked. “Bella is unconscious one of the dogs snuck up on her and knocked her out before tying her to a tree while she was running on the track at school and…” I didn’t even let Charlie finish explaining for I know what has happened. “Go all of you now!!” I told them before turning on Sam. “I hope for you sake that we can get him calmed down in time because if Bella wakes up before hand and sees that Edward is out for blood your as good as dead.” I said. “I wouldn’t worry about that now she has been hit with a sedative.” He said as he nodded to the wolves to head to the others. “How did you give her a sedative?” I asked as this sinking feeling consumed me. “With a nee…” he didn’t even finish as this deafening roar was heard in the distance. “Oh Shit!” I said before running in that direction.
**Bella's POV**
I left the house and drove to Charlie's before bring my stuff up to my room and leaving a note saying I was going to the tracks to run for a bit and left. I was just listening to my music and thinking about tomorrow when everything went black. I didn’t know what was going on and it didn’t help that it felt like I was being stabbed in my arm. I felt a cooling in my arm but it was drowned out by the searing pain in my arm. I couldn’t think about anything else but the pain in my arm I wanted it out. I was fighting for my eyes to open and when they did I screamed out at what I saw. There was a fucking needle in my arm. I went to pull it out but I saw that I was bound to the tree. I set the ropes on fire before breaking free and pulling the needle form my arm. When I looked around I saw that the wolves were here along with Edward and some of the Cullen’s. Which means that the wolves are who decided to stick this in me.
I was beyond furious. I roared out and got everyone’s attention. “Whose idea was it to stick me with a fucking needle?” I snarled. Nobody said anything and that only pissed me off. I felt like my body wanted to burst not in the changing way but something did want to escape I just wasn’t sure what. Just that the rest of the wolf pack and the Cullen’s arrived minus Esme, Ben and Angela. “I am going to ask you this one more time whose idea was it to stick me with a fucking needle.” I panted. What the fuck is going one? I felt like my body was just busted open. My skin felt like it was breathing or some shit but I was still so pissed off I wanted my revenge so I just ignored it. I turned to the closest wolf. “Come here now.” I said and it practically flew to me with excited eyes strange. “Turn back to you other form and get dressed.” I said. I turned to the next and did the same thing until all of them were dressed before me. One by one I walked behind each one and knock them out.
I turned around to the others to see them purring at me and it honestly creeps me the fuck out. Ignoring that I had each one of them pick up a person and follow me to La Push. Not once during the whole ordeal did I drop that needle it was the only thing fueling my anger and I plan to figure out what the hell was going on. When we arrived at Billy’s house I turned to Charlie, “You are to go in there put Billy in his chair and will his ass out of here. After that I will have him call the other leaders.” I instructed and he ran off. You can hear the cussing and shouting from inside before Billy was being pushed out of the house followed by Harry, Sue, and Quil Sr. to say I was surprised would be an understatement. I was flabbergasted and furious Quil Sr. tried to talk but I cut him off. “After everything I have done for you this is how you repay my kindness.” I seethe.
He looked at me before speaking. “Isabella we have talked amongst ourselves that this was the right decision to make we…” I cut him off by throwing the needle at him but froze it right between his eyes. “You call this the right decision jumping me and sticking me with a fucking need I have tried to be nice I have tried to get you to see the errors of your ways but that doesn’t seem to be enough. Shit I even brought you your fucking soul mate and this is the thanks that I get. You are just like Alice and as you can see I have taken away what I bestowed on her. I am tired of this on so many levels, but I see that it doesn’t matter to you, so you win I will play the bad guy.” I hissed and snapped my fingers making several thick logs appear with some rope. I took each one and stuck it in the ground and turned back to the others. “Tie them to the wood with their backs facing out.” I said and they agreed with this glazed look in their face. “What are you doing to them?” Billy spoke for the first time since coming out here.
I don’t know what my face resembled but it was enough to make him shrink into his chair and the others to take a step back. “Why does it matter what I do to them when you didn’t care that they were jumping Leah in the forest trying to force her back to some place she didn’t want to be.” I sneered as I walked behind each one and woke them up. “What is going on why can’t we get out of this?!” Sam yelled. “That is probably because I don’t want to let you out now we are going to try this one more time and hopefully I get a better answer than last time. Whose idea was it to stick me with a fucking needle?” I asked taking my gloves off before snapping my finger. I could tell by the gasp my family let out that they knew what was about to happen. “We felt that if we sedated you that it would be easier to get to Leah and Seth?” Harry said. “So when they say that I wasn’t with them why did you continue on with that plan?” I directed that last part at the wolves.
Paul spoke up this time. “Because I was hoping to take you home and show you what a real man was like along with the fact of getting some blood so we could figure out what they hell you are, or just keep you until you finally told us.” He said and I could tell that he was smiling no for long. I released what was in my hand swing it out until it made contact I couldn’t stop it was like I was possessed and the madder I got the harder his lashes were.
**Charlie’s POV**
Shit I knew she was pissed but this is like nothing I have ever seen before. She was outraged and added to the fact that they stuck her with a needle she went completely ape shit. I saw as her whip hit Paul repeatedly the electricity coursing through it only added to the pain it wasn’t until I seen the fire licking up her body that I knew she was about to explode. “Edward you have to stop her!” I yelled at him. “So she can kill this mutt for all I care.” He said. “Charlie you have to do something!” Billy shouted at me. “If you didn’t disown me as you friend and kick me off the fucking reservation none of this shit would be happening at this moment. I have a right mind to let her finish him off because you were being a stupid prejudice jackass which leads to more stupid prejudice jackasses as you see before you.” I hissed as turned to look for a hose. Once I found it I sprayed my family which thankfully broke them from there daze. “Edward so help me god if you do go over there and stop here I am going to kill you my damn self.” I hissed at him. I turned and faced the other ones. “Go and untie the others then get the hell out of the way!” I shouted pulling the log with Paul out of the ground and running towards the trees before dropping him to the ground.
I turned around to see that the fire has finally consumed her and her whip. I saw where she hit Edward at and how it burned him. Shit she isn’t snapping out of it and she might actually hurt Edward in the process. “He isn’t healing Charlie; he might actually die if I can’t stop the bleeding!” Carlisle yelled and I looked over to see that he had Paul lying face down on the ground with his medical bag out trying to find anything that might help him. I was going to reply when Edward shouted. “Bella listen to me got dammit you are okay nothing has happened to you; everyone is safe I need you to come back to me Bella!” I looked at Bella and she looked like she was about to explode, but what she did next will haunt me for all my days to come. “Sicuramente un buon modo di morire, al posto di qualcun altro, qualcuno mi è piaciuto molto. Nobile, anche. Che dovrebbe contare per qualcosa.” (Surely it was a good way to die, in the place of someone else, someone I loved. Noble, even. That ought to count for something.) She mumbled in Italian I was really hoping she wasn’t going to revert back to this.
I saw Edward’s fangs extend as he shouts back at her. “Non contare per merda se pensate di adottare se stessi da me!” (It doesn’t count for shit if you take yourself from me!) He snarls even when she starts to speak calmly again. “Sapete a volte mi sono chiesto se stavo vedendo le stesse cose attraverso i miei occhi che il resto del mondo è vedere attraverso loro. Forse vi è stato un disguido nel mio cervello. È come quando la vita ti offre un sogno finora oltre le vostre aspettative, non è ragionevole grieve quando si tratta di un fine.” (You know sometimes I am asked if I was seeing the same things through my own eyes that the rest of the world and see through them. Perhaps there was a glitch in my brain. It's like when life offers you a dream so far beyond your expectations, it is not reasonable grieve when it comes to an end.) She says as she turns towards us and walks to where Carlisle and Paul is. “Passo indietro in modo che io possa avere un'occhiata.” (Step back so I can have a look.) She says before kneels down running here hands up and down his back.
Harry tried to stop her when I grabbed him and pulled him back. “I would not do that if I was you. If Carlisle says there is nothing he could do to help Paul the only person that can is Bella and if you interfere you not only risking his life but yours as well.” I told him. “How do you know that she couldn’t just be furthering the damage for Pete sakes she in fucking on fire with electricity coursing through her body. Not to mention that she isn’t even speaking fucking English!” he snaps and I turn on him. “You don’t even fucking speak English all the fucking time so shut that shit up Harry as for me know I just do and so do you so shut the hell up cause this has nothing to do with you. You want to know what is going on I advise you all to shut the hell up and just watch.” I hissed just as Edward stepped closer to her.
Edwards voice takes on a pleading tone as he spoke, “Siete sotto troppo sforzo come tale; non aggiungere con totalmente inutili preoccupazioni. Ascolta me! La nostra famiglia è forte. La nostra unica paura è di perdere.” (You are under too much strain as it is; don’t add to it with wholly unnecessary worries. Listen to me! Our family is strong. Our only fear is losing you.) Bella backs away from the now healing Paul and turned and faced Edward. I could see her starting to shake as her fire grew before she addressed Edward. “IO VI amo. Avrà sempre il mio amore, non importa cosa succede. Ho bisogno di ricordare che, ma qualcosa sta per accadere MI sento.” (I love you. I will always love you, no matter what happens now. I need you to remember that, but something is going to happen I can feel it.) She said before slowly backing away.
Faster than I could see Edward was standing in front of Bella holding her into place with his hands. Before bending down and kissing her I don’t know how he kissed her with his fangs but I wasn’t about to interrupt but it looks like I didn’t need to as Edward broke the kiss before talking. “MI sembra troppo Bella. SO che è destinata a peggiorare in prima è migliore, ma ho bisogno di te per sapere che io sono qui per voi. Io vi amo e ho sempre il vostro migliore interesse a cuore, in modo che vi prego di scusarmi.” (I feel it too Bella. I know everything will get worse from here on out before it gets better, but I need you to know that I am here for you. I love you and I always have your best interest at heart so with that in mind please forgive me.) He pleaded just before picking her up and taking a running start before throwing her into the ocean.
I was going to kill him but before I do that two things happened simultaneously. A mushroom cloud of what look liked water, fire, and electricity exploded from the water where Bella landed. Just as Edward was tackled to the ground by Angela and Ben. I don’t know what is going on but it must be something big because we left Angela and Ben with Esme who I see is now coming through the trees.
**Angela’s POV**
As soon as the others left we headed back into the house to wait for them. I wasn’t really sure what was going on but I had a bad feeling about it, and from the looks of it so did Ben. “We need to do something. We have to get to Bella.” I said walking around the living room. “What is the matter Angela?” Esme asked me. “I don’t know exactly all I know is that we need to get to Bella and the other. I know that we are supposed to stay out of trouble and safe that is why they wanted us to stay here but we need to get to her.” I stressed. She nodded. Ben and I quickly casted the spell from the baseball game and ran out of the house following Esme as we headed towards the school.
When we got there Esme was looking around when Ben spoke up. “Where are they at?” he asked. “There are only two places that they could be which is either Charlie's house or in La Push.” She said. “We need to split up Esme you head to Charlie's just encase they are there so you won't break the treaty. Ben and I will head down to La Push to see if they are there. Meet us there if they aren’t at Charlie's and we will do the same if they aren’t there.” I said before we all headed in our separate direction. Ben and I arrived on First Beach just as Edward went crazy. Ben and I were able to get him on the ground.
He was really struggling at first and I wonder why the others didn’t come over to help when he just stopped. He looked at us in confusing before speaking. “Angela, Ben what are you doing on top of me? Where am I?” He said before he stopped talking altogether. I looked down at him and realized he wasn’t breathing. I backed away pulling Ben with me before walking over to Charlie. “Charlie where is Bella?” Ben asked as I kept my eyes on Edward. There was something different about him, but I can't put my finger on it. Just then I saw something out of the corner of my eye. I turned around and saw Bella walking up the beach.
She walked right past us like we weren’t even there. She stopped just for a moment to take off her shoes before she continued walking towards a house. Once she got there she knocked but nobody answered. “What is she doing? Nobody’s going to answer if we are standing right here.” Billy said. “I don’t know but I plan to find out.” Charlie said walking over to her. “Bella honey what are you doing?” she turned around to look at Charlie before smiling. “I was looking for you of course. It is late and we need to head home. I also wanted to say bye to Billy and Jake but they don’t seem to be in. It doesn’t matter we will probably see them again on the weekend when you decide that you are running low on your fish. Where is the cruiser at?” she asked.
We stood there frozen not sure of what to do or say. “Um Bella we ran here don’t you remember?” Charlie asked. “What do you mean we ran here? Dad that is impossible it could reveal everything.” She whispered the last part but we still heard her. Charlie was going to speak but was cut off by a growl. I turned around and saw Edward sniffing the air before he charged at Bella, but she quickly dodged him. She finally turned around and saw all of us here and froze for a second. “Dad get them out of here I deal with the blood suckers.” She said causing us all to gasp.
**Charlie's Pov**
I can't believe what I just heard. “Bella what are you talking about they are your family.” I told her and she looked at me like I was crazy. “Dad have you lost your mind they aren’t my family. Mom, you, Gran and Phil are my family. Now get the others out of here before the attack again.” I took a step back and really looked at her. “Bella what do you remember?” I asked. “Do we have to discuss this right here and right now?” she asked. “Yes now tell me.” I stated. “I remember that Gran just passed away last year and Phil is getting ready to travel with his team mom is going to commune back and forth between us and I'm here to visit until I have to leave but I’ll be back for our fishing trip.” She said.
I looked over at the others and back before I lost it. “I CAN NOT DO THIS SHIT AGAIN!! THE REST OF YOU GET BACK TO THE HOUSE AND KEEP EDWARD THERE AND UNDER NO CURCUMSTANCE IS HE TO BE LET OUT ON HIS OWN! Try to explain things to him and see how he is doing. Ben and Angela you are to go home and return to the Cullen’s house tomorrow. Leah and Seth go pack some clothes you’ll be staying with Bella and me. I don’t want to see or hear from the rest of you until I figure out what the hell is going on.” With that being said I walked over to Bella and started heading towards the forest.
